They are just so unbelievably good live. The sound production here is beyond sublime and it really makes their incredibly tight harmonies stand out. Truly outstanding.
Why are these guys so fucking good yet so unknown and under appreciated. Ive seen them both at a festival and at a small, grungy dive bar and they had a truly magnificent energy and theatrics often lost on contemporary artists. If only I weren’t in so little-visited Iowa I would see them way more.

My favorite band of all time, their vocal harmonies are unreal and every band member is more than exceptional. The guitar player and bass player are both phenomenal vocalists and and so good with their syncopation, this band is extraordinary and it’s unbelievable they’re so underground
Best band I’ve never heard of. I came across them awhile back and am simply blown away by their live performances. The more I see them the better they get
Best concert I ever went to, saw them at a old church converted to a theater ion Pittsburgh that's for the life of me i cant remember the name of but it was so good they used wireless instruments and came into the audience and danced with us all this was back when We all Belong came out best show I ever say
Dr. Dog just slayed their set last night in Chattanooga at the Moon River Festival. That's why I'm here now. New fan. Great band. They carried amazing energy throughout their time on stage.
Scott, it was great to hear the shout out to your dad. My father NEVER ONCE came to see me play. He did not support me in my (ill-fated) pursuit of my art. He died when I was 40 disappointed that I was not what he was. You obviously have a supportive family, and I love to see that. You are blessed.
Perform in Taos, New Mexico or Albuquerque, NM. Your albums sounds great. I like the Fate album. I heard this album through Spotify, my first introduction to this band, Dr, Dog, oh my virgin ears fell in love.
A great shame I didn't know about this band before a few weeks ago due to episode 4 of what makes this song stink? Where they juxtaposed the absolute derivative crap that is Train. This band are really exceptionally special, inventive, fun, full of cinematic timing and intuitive energy. Finely crafted songs, impeccable dynamics and flow. I'm glad I finally got to discover them somehow, shall be digging into their shows and albums for many years to come. ❤️ Shame I won't get to actually catch them live tho 😢 Genuine and beautiful band
I’m going with my ex fiancé this July in Colorado. I’m so scared she might cancel. I love her so much. I really hope she goes. I really hope I can prove to her how much I’ve changed. I’m so scared.

It's crazy because every song of theirs I don't like enough to go out of my way to listen to always sound so much better with each listen.
go to one of their concerts, sounds a million times better
Dr. Dog is to America as Sloan is to Canada. Grateful to be able to listen to both.
They strike me as a modern form of The Band

Saw this show in SLC 3 days ago. It was heaven. This band is in their prime.
I saw them last week. They were amazing. One of the best shows I've seen.
now they're announcing their final tour 🥺
Saw them in SLC on their last tour just barely and they seemed better than ever.. . Really hope they change their minds about this final tour stuff In a few years
@@jesussanchez9106 I was there, brother. I had a lump in my throat all night.
This needs to be released as an official live album. I can’t get enough of this video.

Live sound is so well balanced and recorded here
Also, this version of army of ancients is epic!!!!

For sure. When I saw them I was really struck by his bass playing. Massive
Favorite band ever
Pleeeeease release a live album!!! These are all so good!!!
This should have so many more views than it does. 32k Sept. 2019. Crazy how underrated this band is.

Man, I've always found the "growls/screams" in the beach and army of ancients to be so epic - Even better live. So sick!
I would buy this live recording. So well recorded and getting harmonies that good playing live is no small feat.
Love how how he shouts out his dad
If this setlist had Abandoned Mansion and Heart it Races, it would be 100% perfect
Yesss!!!!
Saw them live last Feb. Best show ever.
Wow, incredible show! I need to see them live.
Yes, yes you do
Holy shit this is fantastic! Thank you Dr Dog! Have seen y’all 9 times and will go to every show that I can for life!

Thanks for coming by our restaurant today in Billings, MT
You all rock!!!!
Amo a esta banda, su música siempre me pone de buen humor!!! Ojalá vinieran a Medellín.
This is the best video on the internet, thanks for posting.
Scott 😍😍
Great performance overall but man, that performance of Jim Song is just amazing and hits me in the feels.

I’m here for the same reason
they play tonigh in San Diego, couldnt get tickets :( ill watch this instead.
They have to be the tightest thing in the whole universe
The Dog!!! The BEST!
Philly soul rock psych goodness....
Just heard lonesome for the first time, something tells me it's a play on words of the Hank Williams classic 😌
army of ancients is sooooo good
We go crazy for music for that is where all universe's secrets and rules are involved. Music is condensed geometry. We can freely swim in.
That last screech tho
Cool band, sorry to hear they quit touring so they'll never make NZ now. They got Lou Reeds seal of approval, that's more than enough for me!

Can't get over Eric just casually slaying those rolls and fills. I mean my god. Anybody have any idea what the sizes on his drums were here?
I think his kick is 22", floor is 18".

yes i believe so
you have the potential to be the new Beatles. Too much pretension on my part?
but time passes
Why not?
Leandro packer Beatles ain’t shit
Where’d the Time Go does sound like a Lennon-McCartney tune!
they are WAY better than the beatles!
A lot of critics think that they steal sounds and techniques from the beatles
Jordan Ellis critics critique of dr dog always pisses me off. Everyone steals from the Beatles. You’d be insane not to take influence from them
