I use a pick made by Apex ...... It's really well made .....and recently bought a 24" inch handle Hermit.....made by Bunk's.... This is one of the best picks around with a wide blade, excellent for moving more material, raking down tailing piles and such. The Hermit pick will break up and move the most obstinate pay dirt and expose the deepest holes with minimal effort. Pick Details: * Approximately 2.75 Pounds * Contoured 8″ wide x 3″ deep Blade * Strong 1/4″ Steel 6″ Spike These picks are made from hardened spring steel for durability, with a hardwood handle fastened by high grade epoxy and a screw and super strong magnet on handle end....
The rotating end of the shovel and swivel will build up with dirt and sand and may get stuck and may rust and turn into a pain in the ass to collapse eventually. Try and keep it clean and it probably won’t be too bad. I’ve always had bad experience with folding shovels.
As a weapon , I imagine that Largetha on the Viking show , could have done a lot of damage with that thing ! But it looks looks like a good prospecting tool when walking in the bush !
Ah, Katheryn Winnick. I imagine her from time to time myself. :) Quite fetching at 42 years of age -- and quite plausible in those fighting scenes, because she's been heavily into martial arts since she was a little kid. She genuinely could put a bunch of holes in you real fast with that shovel.
I have a shovel like that style but not that good quality and if you put a lot of pressure on while digging it will wear out the hinge.mine only cost £6 like! They are really good for getting places a normal shovel can't get like scooping stuff from narrow holes.

Good piece of equipment for the emergency bag. Do the compartments seem water tight? Curious how it will hold up after you guys put some good use on it.
i remember my first Rambo style utility knife had a whole survival kit in the handle . there was a compasss in the butt ofr ther handle and the back of the knofe was a swa blade.

We never prospect at night really winter it's dark around 430pm were we live so sometimes were in the darkness for a few hours but it's never night. Were never out past 7 or 8pm usually

It's a good shovel to scoop shit after your dog if you want to look completely tactical while doing it.

looks like the entrenching tool I was bestowed with in 1966 when I went to Vietnam instead of Donald J Trump, a most practical shovel and pick also.
