    That's a beast! If we had more then 60 days of Ice Fishing here in northern Illinois I'd love to put tracks on my ranger... Happy Fishing!

    Do you feel like those doors are as durable as the polys?

    Nice! Ever run on slush with it on the lake? Just wondering thinking about a cam am with tracks and I ice fish so wondering if you had any issues you've run into. Some days it can dip in the negative temps

      I would like to know the same thing. Any feedback on how this does in deep slush. I live in the up of Michigan and we have 15 inches of slush right now. Just got a sled more than stuck. I have an 2006 ranger but no tracks. Thinking of upgrading. Any thoughts appreciated. Thx

    Careful in that thing. I went through the ice in my ranger with a cab and it almost killed me and my two friends. It sunk like a stone and we couldn’t get the doors open. Fortunately we were able to unzip the windows. You can’t do that. Nice ride though. 👍🏻

      How much ice did you have? Water depth? The front windshield pops out of this one really easily

      @@Wrangler98 the least amount we measured was 10”. We went through on 3”. Our best guess was we drove over a spring. The ranger went down 7 feet. It cost me 5k to get it towed out of the ice. We were very lucky. If you send me your email I’ll send you the video my rear view mirror recorded of the incident. Since then I have a rule that on ice we keep the windows open. It’s not that bad with the heat cranking. If it weren’t for the window the three of us went out it could have ended badly. I also have a tip out windshield. Problem is we hit good ice with the windshield when we went in. Like hitting a brick wall at 15mph. The windshield wouldn’t have been an option because we would have been exiting under the ice. We had 4 seconds before the ranger was on the ground and the cab was full of water.

      The lake we were on I’ve grown up on. I know it like the back of my hand. We have never had an issue with weak ice, or springs. Usually we stay out of the shallows because of springs. There was no wet areas, no signs in the snow, nothing to indicate it was thin ice. One second we were laughing and having fun, and the actual next second we were fighting to stay alive. Thank god my two buddies are in good shape. Had my fat ass friend been there he would have drowned us.

    How good do those doors and windows seal? Or do they leak???

    • @Wrangler98
      @Wrangler98 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They seal up great. Comes with a massive kit to seal the whole cab from dust, I don’t use the doors in the summer so I didn’t even put the kit in, still works great. Can ride around all winter in a T shirt

      Yes in Maine you just have to register it as a snowmobile.
