The main thing I know about this game is that Raph is absurdly strong with a nuclear strength shoulder tackle that does just one less HP than the enemies max in damage, meaning he can tap anything to death right after. Since he’s already the fastest character, he can chain those like a champ. I do appreciate this version of the game for managing to come closer to the speed of the arcade version, though it’s definitely the least pretty version of Turtles in Time in both visual and audio quality. Losing it’s monoply on a dash button is a sad day for it indeed.
Yeah going back to that game after finally playing these, throws took some getting used to, the standard throw is Up+Attack and you're able to take hits while you're throwing someone so my muscle memory was all out of whack
Another well done performance, good sir. As for the game itself, I respect that Sega and Konami did the best they could with what they had in the Genesis and I give them credit for throwing in some original artwork, but the SNES version has this version beat. I hate to sound biased, but still.
What is it with these villains and their obsession with stealing away the Statue of Liberty in these games? Not even the recently released _TMNT: Shredder's Revenge_ is immune...! 😅
They did technically steal the Statue of Liberty in this game, but that was because they stole all of Manhattan. The plot of this one is more similar to The Manhattan Project than Turtles in Time The real question is, when did the Turtles grow to normal size in order to fight the enemies of the game? Or how did they avoid the shrinking ray? And if they did avoid the shrinking ray, then how come they’re able to just run around in Manhattan?
Good thing I read the video description before posting a question on why the gameplay is hiccupping. Hope it doesn't do that if I get this game on the Switch. *Btw, why didn't you pick my boy Donnie?*
@@LeopoldLitchenstein I own the PC version and even after the latest patch they did not fix that. However, it's so rare that it's not a common problem at least so there's that.
am i the only one that think that the intro song is off it sounds like someone record it at home lol :D btw why is main menu and game selecting menu music from tmnt 2003 video game levels music lol :D
@@tylerneckbeard4294 I thought the same until I got to The Gauntlet. Also Hard is way less forgiving than Turtles in Time's Hard due to less pizzas on the last stage and less toggleable lives (Cowabunga Collection lets you start with up to 10 in Turtles in Time through the enhancements menu, but the max in Hyperstone Heist is 5), plus it's shorter so there's less opportunities for getting extra lives
I've been playing it a lot! I was hoping to have a video up today, but as of right now, you can only play NG+ once. After that you have to start a new file to play through the game again. I assume that will get patched, but that put a delay on my plans...
I for some reason I have not been able to one hit killed defeat Kran in his android body trag and the boss before trag with the good mode cheat on the original ninja turtles arcade . I have not played arcade turtles in time yet with the enhancement the Super Nintendo version is the best with ever thing game play wise. Shredder with a light saber on the aracade mode of turtles in time kind of lame and bland compared to o my good super shredder gone super Saiyan speed with more fire attacks then human torch boss fight we get on the Super Nintendo verision
It's useful if you can do that, but it was kinda unintentional. You're pretty safe just by dive kicking him repeatedly, you can just completely ignore the Foot soldiers. I do try to move Tatsu as far up or down as I can before he jumps to the other side though, just to try and space the Foot out a bit more.
Now its time for ROBOCOP ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION.

I think I now know why DOTEMU made throw mechanic so nerfed. Players would just steamrolled all the Foot in seconds 😂

うわー 😲 このティーンエイジ・ミュータント・ニンジャ・タートルズのオープニングカットシーンは最高です!
Who the hell would play a robo cop anniversary collection

it's still a top-tier game for the MD!
Hyperstone heist is the best on the Sega genesis!

I bought the game on Switch and haven't had any hiccups so far, hoping they've fixed that on PC

Weird that rocksteady gets to be in this game but not bebop.
I have my ps5 versión ❤️❤️❤️
How hard is hard mode in ninja turtles? I might try it myself.
The console games are pretty easy
@@iconoclast575 I see. The ninja turtles were a blast in my childhood. I played Turtles in Time so many times!
Hyperstone Heist had a reputation of being easier than the other TMNT games I think

Is the sound sync off or am I crazy?
It probably is, might be a side effect of the emulation stuttering
@@iconoclast575 I noticed it in your last video as well. 100% it's the emulation.
Thanks, Konami
That just, how the Sega Genesis games, were back in the day.
why did you elect back attack off?
Can't remember tbh, it was probably just because it would happen when I didn't want it to.

Nice strategy with Tatsu, leaving 1 Foot Ninja 🥷 so that he won't call in another wave...👍
