someone sure about the capacitor problem?i want to buy one with the same problem as this one and i dont want to buy it as a brick...impossible to repair
Where can i get service? It wont turn on, battery indicator says dead batteries but testing with three different sets of brand new batteries failed to change that condition. AC doesnt turn it on either. Clock displays fine and whatever else on the display when the radio is off. I went to a Sony dealer and they said there is no service available. I hate to throw it away!

Can those faulty 24 capacitor make the Jog dial not to work sir ??? Anyone from this group please reply to me... ??? My Arrow scan keys are not working... An the sound is very low like 5% only on full volume... So what has made my those Jog dial not to work... ??? Please reply ...
I too have the same issue with my 7600GR.. .When I tune to any station on any band it plays for a couple of minutes then starts scanning stations through out that particular band. Sometimes I can't even stop the scanning by pressing any button. I wonder what could have gone wrong .
i have sony icf 7600A ..but the sound of the small ic upc 1212c amplifier is already changing but the problem still has not met ... very thank you if anyone help

Hi , Mine is working fine I AM band but when I put On FM it just skip to find a station . what is wrong ?
