Med Kits are not the strongest at healing but they have 0 weight and you find them everywhere. If you are at the starport and see another ship come in you can loot the med pack from their loading bay without penalty.
They are kinda like the Maxdocs from Cyberpunk. Everyone uses the green (uncommon) one despite there being blue (rare) and purple (epic) versions of it. However you can find the green ones basically everywhere you look.
I feel like Bethesda heard every speed runner's complaint about too many med packs in FO4 and took it to heart. Because I can never find any of them most of the time when looting corpses and have to buy most of mine.
The safe in your room in the lodge does have unlimited storage, but it's in a pretty inconvenient spot. If you go into the lodge basement, into the room with all the crafting stations, there's a small box on a table in front of the research station that also has unlimited storage, and it's in a much better spot since it's basically surrounded by all the crafting stations.
I think the one in the room is mainly for weapons and armour that you don't want to sell but don't wanna take up valuable space in the inventory or spaceship cargo
One thing the game never told me, was that if you hold "aim" when using the cutter, the reticle will narrow and it'll overcharge, mining/damaging a lot faster.
@2:50 I think the choice to not let players upgrade receivers to Calibrated or Advanced was to make the loot game last longer. One of the issues with FO4 was that if you rushed Gun Nut you could craft endgame weapons very early on. This way you’re slowly upgrading weapons as you find better versions, and then you focus on getting a Legendary Advanced version
The problem i see with the lack of upgrade tier option, is that it makes a bit pointless wasting resources on modding normal, calibrated and refined weapons and armors. Why would i mod this weapons if a few levels ups will spawn an advanced, or better, a Superior tier weapon/armor? What i would have done is make the upgrade tier resource hungry, plus requiring rare resurces and other items. And putting the requerimemt of needing to unlock tge previous tier before getting the higher ones. That way, none could jump from basic straight to Superior if they have tge resources needed. One would have to upgrade first to calibrated, then upgrade to refined, then advanced and finaly superior.
@@oscarc9417 so it feels like they actually paced the system out well…… sort of. I’m about 25 hours in, level 20, and stores only carry up to Calibrated weapons. Most “unique” drops from enemies (the kind with a modifier you can’t craft, like Chameleon or +damage to humans) are still baseline or maybe Refined. So if the pacing continues like this, it makes more sense to drop a few resources now to keep my weapons dealing good damage than to wait until endgame. All that said… I also somehow got my hands on 2 Advanced weapons that completely outpace everything else I’ve found in terms of DPS. I can’t remember if they were random dungeon loot, or locked behind a Master door. Either way, in typical Bethesda fashion their proc gen system screwed itself up and as a result I use those 2 weapons almost exclusively when I’m not dealing with scrub enemies
@@BillyOrBobbyOrSomething there’s 3 upgrade systems in the game. There’s the affix system, where the game will assign a weapon/spacesuit piece as uncommon, rare or legendary and apply 1-3 effects that are exclusive to that system. There’s the pure upgrade system talked about in this video, where weapons go to Refined, Calibrated and Advanced, which is a straight improvement each level and is determined by loot drop and not craftable. And then there’s the system of modifiers that you can add on at a crafting bench, which give small improvements that aren’t nearly as impactful as the other 2 systems. But it’s so hard to find a Legendary Advanced version of the item you want, with the correct effects, that you might as well craft upgrades to carry you over
@@oscarc9417 most if not all of the craftable mods only cost a few pretty common resources, though. Not worth waiting for better tiers. It sucks to have a "legendary" low-tier weapon you can't upgrade though, I agree. But there are always console commands. You can add and remove the rarity modifiers if you look up the amod/rmod command and the OMOD list of codes.
The one tip that seems so obvious but took me forever to understand; make use of your ship's cargo and upgrade it when you can. All workbenches pull resources from your inventory AND your ships inventory regardless of how far away it is. Also gathering loot (primarily guns and armor) drop it in cargo hold to sell later at vendors. And just like workbenches, you can sell from your cargo hold directly to vendors. So just make a habit of using that cargo hold, Another tip is contraband. Getting the skills and ship tech to smuggle the stuff around is good but you can always take contraband and head to The Den merchant in the Wolf system, right by Sol and Alpha Centauri. No skills required, they don't scan you. Trade Authority vendor is just inside, use the 48 hour wait and pawn it all off.
Eventually I made an outpost to dump all my garbage in instead of the ship. Though the containers take resources to make so eh. I just like my ship not looking like a giant pile of containers.
@@commandernomad2817ikr lol just like the game never tells you to cut the pins on that door in the beginning where it specifically has the words "cut pins" 😂
Trying to get those quickly before the train exploded on hardest difficulty, in order to unlock the last secret level was the bane of my childhood. Even using the stupidly long manually entered cheat codes didn't help.
A carryover tip from Fallout 4: when you kill an enemy in open combat you can pick up their weapon to loot all unfired rounds from the magazine. Considering all the ammo types in the game, it can help to carry something for dealing with trash mobs that uses commonly carried ammo so that you can replenish it from all the enemies you kill.
The infinite storage safe at the HQ is what I needed thank you!!! I was wasting so much space on my ship just storing cool outfits and armor with no use for them other than to collect them all.
If you have the Dream Home perk like me you can fill a whole room with mannequins and put all your armor sets on them as well as weapon displays and also pack displays, helmet displays my house is decked out haha
Did you know you can cheat in the flight sim by standing up and going to the reset computer and hacking it! You can Spawn 2 allies boost shields and damage. it makes it easier to clear all six levels of the test. I think it might also be a Star Trek Easter egg that is referring to when Captain Kirk cheated on his simulator Exam!
It is. Unlike the Kobayashi Maru the UC staff don't even hassle you for using the debug mode. To them you're just being thorough and resourceful. You can then put those extra Sign Up Bonus credits into a fancy new starship.
You can also move your ship into position amongst the abandoned station, so you are as surrounded by the structure as possible, and then leave the pilot seat. The enemy ships will stop firing, and if you wait long enough, they will blow themselves up by colliding with the station as they maneuver around you.
2:50 oh that makes so much sense: I found this revolver type gun that does 100 damage per shot with no upgrades. It’s been pretty much the only thing I’ve been using since I found it. However all other versions of the gun I found only had it doing like 30 per shot. That explains it
The stronger guns drop from stronger enemies. It's not looter shooter mechanics, it's level mechanics. Go to the highest level systems and all enemies will drop advanced weapons. Some weapons don't even have weaker versions and will only drop from enemies capable of dropping advanced weapons (the mag weapons are one such). Additionally vendors sell stuff based on your level, so once you start getting into the 40's+ you'll start seeing more advanced weapons in stores.
for the loot in the chests, before entering the first door on the dungeons or bases, you save the game, change the dificulty to very hard, enter the base and then change to very easy, run past people and get the loot, if you don´t like the content, rince and repeat. For "farming" legendary loot from elite enemies, you get them to very low health, save the game and kill, if you don´t like the gear, reload and do it again, and again. Sorry for my english, tiping from Brazil.
@@siahmanjoeI personally don't do it but as someone with 4 kids I understand it. Not having the time to grind can drive some to do things others wouldn't.

I think the reasoning for the whole calibrated/refined/advanced receivers not being craftable is because bethesda knew in fallout that you just push for the advanced receivers on all your gear. To me it makes sense that advanced gear would be locked vehind the highest level of crafting. I also don't get why they didn't just do that.
agreed, in FO4 I basically kept the same weapon all game because i could just upgrade it early on. that also meant i was less likely to try out new weapon types because the damage wasn't as good as that upgraded weapon
@@lovelybitofsquirrel8272 exactly. You could just find the best silencer or an advanced receiver and add it to your gun, so it was really easy to have OP gear early on
??? I have a weapon crafting bench at my outpost and I add these upgrades to my guns there. You just need to do the required research first. Not sure if that’s what you meant but if you did, then yeah that actually is in the game
@@BillyOrBobbyOrSomething you can give a weapon the advanced prefix? Silencers and scopes, yes, but I understood you couldn't make the weapon advanced.
Just a note, If you've opened the case, looked at the armour, but not collected it. If you saved here, when you reload the save the perks on the armour will reroll. I made a couple of saves of potential armour perks but on one I never removed it from the case. When I reloaded it to compare it to another set, the perks changed. I did this multiple times.
great tip is also, loots from chest and bodies are much better o, harder difficulties. before enter a base, put it on very hard and save it, once entering you can town it down again, but because the area is loaded under very hard, the rewards will be of that level. and the differences are quite insane. i can recommend to never go under hard ever in any area...these things will add up eventually
I like the weapon changes. It forces more meaningful decisions when it comes to weapon choice. In my most recent F4 playthrough, I find that most of my weapons just sit around unused in a locker, because I've crafted them so all of their damage is really high. There's not much reason to stop using one or to start liking another.
You can make the mining laser faster by holding down right click/aim button while firing the laser. I have seen no youtube creator mention this and is an easily missable feature.
I love how part of the title is “things Starfield never tells you about” and the first thing it shows is the door with “CUT PINS” written on each of the pins holding the door lol
Using the cutter was the first thing I thought of since they literally put a box with a cutter right next to it. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the pin was actually cut at first, so I circled the area for 2-3 minutes looking for a different path at first.
About the space bar in the ship. It also maintains your momentum in that direction. So you Can boost away from enemies and then hold space and flip around and still be moving away from them as you shoot them.
Legendary weapons on enemies seem to be determined when they are killed. I farmed the first dungeon boss for a useful epic drop before moving on. (Also experienced a glitch where the inside Pirate bodies respawned all of their loot, a good way to stock up on ammo and weapons to sell early)
@@autisticspacetruckereven better, do what you said but hit the boss or elite until it’s close to dying then save (try saving after each hit so you don’t accidentally kill them). Kill them with the last hit and check their loot, if you don’t like it reload and repeat.
I figured out the tyrannis pizzle myself, its a shame every one just give the answer instead of telling you to look at the logs, it felt so awesome figuring it out myself.
For the simulator in MAST, you can actually leave the seat while you are flying and go back to the 'Restart simulation console' to access the debug options. There you can increase your shield, damage and spawn an ally.
@@thatIndianGamerGuy even with it the last stage is super hard, you can beat it but it's meant to be almost unwinnable even with the cheats. Also it's not worth the effort really lol
@Menroth. I managed to beat wave 6 the first time trying it with the debug cheats somehow. Retrying it to kill ships, I struggled even getting past wave 5, and could not beat 6 again.
If it doesn’t keep what you add to it, there is no reason to keep it around because you get a MUCH better ship for free for completing one of the factions. Unless you want to die in a lot of space battles before having enough skill points invested the tech tree to actually build powerful starships (and the credits required to do so), get your hands on a better ship because the Frontier is pretty worthless once space battles become more common place.
The save scamming of loot works on enemies as well. The loot is generated upon death. So, if you save when the enemy is low health and kill them, the loot gets re-rolled. This is especially effective with 'elite' enemies (the ones with multiple bars of health) since they always have higher loot tables.
For crafting storage, in the basement of the Lodge there is a room with all the machine to craft and a storage box. I simply pull all my resources in the storage box. It's not linked so you can't craft directly from it but at least it's only a few step away. Also, whenever I visit a station or outpost, I take note if there is any kind of storage box close to the landing area, even if it's an ammo box as you can drop anything in it. I use these storage box to keep stuff like contraband. I even started to make maps with a red cross to mark the spot...
The good news about the lock-on mechanic for ships is that, even if you aren’t locked-on for missiles, you can still hit your target if you’re skilled and lucky enough to lead your shot. But, depending on what kind of missiles you have (long reload, low capacity, high dmg, or short reload, high capacity mid dmg, etc) you may not want to waste your shots.
Very nice tip on the Mantis armor. I'm currently on my first playthrough, and just figured out the word puzzle. I guess now the time I wasted trying momma's phrase starting with SIC and getting gunned down wasn't wasted. I'd hoped by letting the one guy who surrendered live would mean he'd disable the turrets and robots, but apparently not. I'll try giving my companion that high speed gun and some ammo, and hopefully I can figure out which weapon works best against the battle droids and turbolasers. I can't wait to be Space Batman.
I have watched a bunch of Starfield guides but you add details such as the Mantis armour save and reroll (it was never mentioned in the others) and it's those little details that I look for so you have earned my only subscription as far as Starfield content is concerned
Should be noted if you are trying to reroll affixes on the Mantis set, if you want to "bank" a set you like and keep rolling from the previous save, take the armor off the Mannequin. I left it on the mannequin and when i reloaded the save, the affixes had changed again. TO BE CLEAR: if you check the mannequin but DO NOT TAKE the armor and you reload your save, the affixes will still reroll. I am on steam.
I want the Fallout 4 trade interface, and I want to be able to take mods off some guns to put them on others. F4 was silly that you craft new sights to take a scope off a gun, but in SF you cant take them off at all, it's just gone.
It does seem weird that removing a mod seems to destroy it. If you weren't invested in crafting perks in FO4 taking Mods from found and purchased weapons was a viable strategy, but here you basically have to invest in modding perks if you want your legendary weapons to be very good.
0:15 Using your ships thrusters is also VERY helpful in a fight, use the boost function (LS on controller) to close the distance with ships, when they turn use the RB to activate thrusters making you turn a LOT sharper, giving you the advantage when locking onto enemies
If you have stolen items, you can sell it to the trade authority store and buy it back from their buy back menu for the cost you sold it for and it will get rid of the stolen icon. The bartender at red mile also buys stolen goods
The business about "receivers", that is the weapons tier system, is directly analogous to finding a better material weapon in Skyrim. Ebony is a much higher tier than steel, for example. You can't upgrade a steel longsword to an ebony one, even if it has great extra abilities. Although, since they're just invisible OMODS (the system the game uses to add all extra abilities to weapons and armor) I'm sure there will be a mod as soon as the Starfield Creation Kit drops. You'll just need to be able to do compiled scripting associated with a weapons workbench or vendor or something like that.
When you board a ship all you have to do is pilot it for a sec then go back to your other ship. And then. Once you go to a space port the ship you commandeered will show up without you having to worry about bypassing security for illegal items.
I desperately hope for some mods to allow weapon level editing and to connect the Lodge safe to the crafting tables downstairs. Also, thanks for the Mantis and Piloting tips!
Also the ability to get the mods of weapons when you change mods/craft the no mod option, so you can swap them around when you get better gear instead of having to craft them all again.
If you hold space you can turn the ship around as well. So not only can you use thrusters, you can turn your ship 180 but still go the original way you wanted. like drifting
If you're looking for ships, I highly recommend commandeering them instead of purchasing, for a few reasons. Namely, the cost of registering a ship versus purchasing one new seems approximately 10% of the ship's vendor cost (unknown of Commerce perk affects it) plus, as you level up, enemy ships can spawn with modules you'd normally need the Starship Design perk and a boatload of credits to get. Example: I hijacked a Spacer Coyote, which is basically a dumbed down Shieldbreaker, which had parts requiring 'Designer Rank 2 and even 3 (I had rank 1). These modules will stay equipped and functional even if you don't have the Starship Design perk. Plus, while I was redesigning the ship, pulling off and reattaching these modules before cancelling the modification, i noticed progress count towards the Starship Designer perk accumulating. So, bonus! Also, if you're doing a lawful run but find contraband when commandeering Pirates or spacers, don't jettison it yet! If you have the fuel range, take it to the Den in the Wolf system. There are no security scans here, and a Trade Authority that will buy your illegal goods, no Crimson Fleet affiliation required.
There is an important difference between the three healing items aside from the potency. Regular Med Packs have ZERO WEIGHT. All other healing items take up storage. I carry a few of the stronger packs around just in case, but 99% of the time I'm using plain old Med Packs because there is no limit to how many I can carry.
I ended up getting past the gun turrets in the Mantis quest by taking some damage reducing drugs and just running through. Didn't even notice the letter tiles.
I think the weapon tier system makes sense as far as allowing for decent weapon variety in the early game while also allowing for your favorite weapons to scale more into later game. The basic Kraken has very weak damage, but at tier 4, it can stay viable.
heres another tip i dont see anyone talking about. open your menu, select your ship in the bottom left, and press f to open your cargo hold. typically this only allows you to see what items you have on your ship, but if you're within 250m of it you can also place stuff from your pockets onto the ship by cycling to your inventory. this helps a lot particularly with resources, because they're heavy and with one button you can move it all to your cargo hold. especially when exploring a new planet you don't need to go all the way back and through a loading screen. ive actually done this from inside a dungeon before as well, im not sure if that's intended though and the dungeon probably has to be within that same distance as well.
There is another storage container with unlimited storage space in the basement of The Lodge. Its in the center of the first room. It doesn’t link to all the work benches but you can pull all of your resources out and upgrade your weapons/armor before dumping all your resources back into the container.
5:30 you can hack the terminal to the right of the door and diable the turrets too, or use a speed boosting kit to run thru but it will work only if you start running from the 1st correct letter and be sure to press the button otherwise turrets will just turn and kill you. And btw turrets can be destroyed and give 60xp and items
I got through without using a speed boosting kit. I used the jet pack to boost forward past the first set of letters then ran the rest of the way. As soon as you hit that buzzer the door opens and the turrets stop.
9:23; Starfield does tell you this. In a single line of dialogue, while you're being shot at, and in a spaceship for the first time, and, thus, quite overwhelmed. Best Tutorial ever.
8:30 - You can use the chest right in front of the Research table in the basement - Which is at the front of the Lodge. It has infinite storage as well! To power level Stealth and Concealment - You can (just like in Skyrim at the start in Helgen) go to the Medic next to the Lodge - And sneak attack him over and over. He can't die!

I have a pretty funny effect on my mantis boostpack, it causes attacking enemies to be knocked back and become staggered for a moment, which makes combat pretty easy, especially if you use it in tandem with grav push :D
Saw that when i first did quest and made a video on it. It also works on regular manikins as well. Save before you open them, and itll be random items/effects/rarity.
Also lockpicking if you select the digi pattern the ring will light up on what rings it will fit into. If its white it wont fit, if its blue it will fit. Its really helpful for multi level picking
I am playing on the hardest mode and its been so easy that I dont recommend using those overpowered stuff. I did give Sarah a Equinox with high fire rate without knowing and it indeed made her WAY more useful in combat. I was actually shocked to see her mow down some enemies by herself.
If you get an contraband item and want to keep it. Go to a trade authority. Sell it and the buy it back. Removes the tag. (Let’s you steal legendary stuff and remove tags)
Some tips like rerolling the mantis armor just kills replayability, of your going to do everything perfectly and just get the best stuff possible one ypur forst play thrpugh whats exciting on the second play through?
Actually, your best turning speed comes from a trick. Go to max speed, then quickly slow down and start to turn, then once your ship starts spinning, hit boost. It's basically like doing space doughnuts. I trick I developed in Star Wars Battlefront, but improved in No Man's Sky, and just happens to work on Starfield too.
Big tip for ship combat if the enemy ship is facing you boost passed them and set your speed to the middle of the white part of you speed guage and turn to face them as fast as you can this will get you on the ships tail where it cannot hit you of course other ship will still be able to but it's always better to on the tail of at least one enemy.
Good tip but also if you, as you turn to face them, hit the alt flight mode while strafe turning you will "drift turn" with thruster assist and make the turn faster getting the enemy ship in your sights with more alacrity. This "drift turn" is a maneuver I've used a lot and to great effect in Elite Dangerous so I was pleased to see it in Starfield.
@@OrpheusOverdrive True but that requires piloting skill level one and the thought this video was about early game tips so I didn't add this as its more a trick for people who have been in a few battles and of course have at least level on in piloting which only a few backgrounds get.

It was supposed to say I didn't mention thrusters because I thought this video was for new player's who may not have a point in piloting so I didn't include advice about thrusters or anything more advanced as again I thought the video is for new players. I could have included some real world maneuvers as you can pull off some similar jet fighter moves like "post stall maneuvers" but I doubt many people would understand.

Lol Thanks for making this video! It's super informative, the pacing is perfect, and I definitely learned a lot bro! Thanks so much for this. My second character is going to be a GOD Thanks to you!
Three of these things the game directly tells you if you pay attention. The locking bolts you learn about in a story quest where breaking down one of the doors is an optional route. The Maneuvering thrusters is a skill you unlock under piloting and it tells you in the description how to use it. The highlighted middle part of the speed indicator being where you can turn more easily is one of the first things explained when you first start flying a spaceship. Some of the other tips were pretty good though!
1. Locking system is ONLY for Turrets and Missiles because they have auto aim to locked targets. 2. If you have at least Lv. 3 Security, you can actually hack the simulator by accessing the terminal beside the pilot chair, it will give you access to Debug room with MASTER hack requirement. This will give you better upgrades for your ship and take down your enemies faster. It also applies to Mantis' turret if you manage to hack the Master Terminal, you can disable the turrets so you can skip the letter puzzle with ease.
"I won't spoil the backstory of this" he says after telling you the backstory... Also, save-scumming re-rolls on legendary armor stats is about the most anti-RPG thing I can think of. Why even play the game? You could just use the console to edit in whatever you want or use a mod to give you whatever you want. What's the point in organically finding things and the luck of the rolls if you just save-scum or cheat everything?
Anyone know how enemy armor (what I am calling the white bar on top of some enemies) works? Why do I sometimes seem to bypass it/hit red before white depletes?
I find that armor goes up to superior, which is 1 tier higher than advanced.. but only some armors can drop that high.. at least in regular NG. There's some kind of level threshold you have to meet before they can start dropping that high (if they are able to drop that high). Only seems to be for armor, weapons only go up to advanced. It goes from regular > calibrated > refined > advanced > superior
The advanced armor mechanic is how it worked in Fallout 4, putting it on Weapons as well is just a design choice that seems to encourage more exploration and leveling your character instead of farming for a powerful legendary weapon early and letting it carry you the rest of the way.
@@Citizen5101 There are other ways to do it. In my opinion superior ways. Such as just having better weapons with different names instead of just plastering 'advanced' on the front of them... especially if the 'advanced' means a receiver you can't craft anyways. But I also understand that means more weapon models and all of that stuff as well - perhaps that is why they didn't do it.
@@ransom--they did do that. The named weapons you get as a new Deputy Ranger as pretty cool. Not elite because your probably still single digit levels…
Big tip for me... I got the Mantis ship, took it to a shipyard, ripped the sides off... added tons of cargo, which is surprisingly cheap, and stuck the sides back on. Adding like 2000 cargo early was around 15000 credits... then upgrading my missiles a little bit... was also 15000 credits. Weapons cost a lot, cargo space doesn't. Be aware, customizing your ship will move EVERYTHING on the ship into cargo. EVERYTHING, anything on a stand, in a box, weapon rack, all of it. BUT... anything that spawns on the ship, will be both moved into cargo, and will respawn after 2 days... so sell all that stuff, it will be back.
The crafting does need some plugging. Not being able to make ammo or main healing is pretty weird. It also kind of sucks you can't change skins to any basic colours aswell, my spacesuit or gun is the same as everyone elses.
Sony know where I can get superior weapons? Because now the shops sell advanced weapons( I can use command change them into legendary) I haven’t seen any superior weapons before even I use cheat, so superior tier only appear in ng+?
@@ihwnbihwnb7807 i test it. I use player.modav experience 600000 to level up to level 80. Wait 48 hours for vendors to restock, and they had a few Superior tier weapons. I suppouse they are there for NG+, because they are overpower.
Never seen a more polarizing game. Some people just don’t get it. Easily top 5 game ever for me. It’s made for critical thinkers, and not the COD or FORTNITE crowd. 😎
During the mantis quest, you can just destroy the turrets rather than solve the puzzle. If you hide to the left of the room you can destroy them all for the 80 XP each without getting shot.
You are able to reroll the chests and use higher tier / "hard difficulty" glitch before entering the part of location (switch to hard - enter location, than - back to normal) . It works better with space stations, and it will update each 7 in-game days (in the same way as vendors update every 48 in-game hours).
About healing stuff, a pro tipp. If you walk into your enemy's mouth and try to breed with them while the fight happening they hit you as often as you hit them. But, if you keeping distance, and use everything as cover and not trade damage but mostly give but not take, you literally NOT need to worry about your health. Every fire weapon damages the same in close, mid and long distance. Even shotguns to. I use almost only shotgun, and kill enemies in pretty long distances without spend a single healing item.

Yeah this is really important for those harder to crack minerals (like the ones in artifact caves). Cuts the time from like 3-4 seconds to 1-2.
Huge tip.
Bro, thank you
Bro what I thought I just had a lousey laser miner was lasering those things forever
Ffs, this is genuinely info that's a game changer I'd it's even a little faster lol.
You can upgrade though. I upgraded all my weapons with the weapon workbench thingy at my outpost. Lol
So just make a habit of using that cargo hold,
Another tip is contraband.
I like to use the Den to sell off my contraband and fill up on ammo. They have a few of the rarer varieties conveniently there
Eventually I made an outpost to dump all my garbage in instead of the ship. Though the containers take resources to make so eh. I just like my ship not looking like a giant pile of containers.
@@christmastrees9095the Galleon S202 cargo hold looks exactly like the Taiyo Mid Cap... 950 cargo space too!

For the simulator do you have to side with the vanguard use it?

2:50 oh that makes so much sense: I found this revolver type gun that does 100 damage per shot with no upgrades. It’s been pretty much the only thing I’ve been using since I found it. However all other versions of the gun I found only had it doing like 30 per shot. That explains it

Additionally vendors sell stuff based on your level, so once you start getting into the 40's+ you'll start seeing more advanced weapons in stores.

I like the weapon changes. It forces more meaningful decisions when it comes to weapon choice. In my most recent F4 playthrough, I find that most of my weapons just sit around unused in a locker, because I've crafted them so all of their damage is really high. There's not much reason to stop using one or to start liking another.

Only one I didn’t know though 😅
Let's be honest, most people don't notice that when playing the game. I certainly haven't.
I like how the door is offensively red, says "Emergency Cuttable Wall - Cut Pins" and you just know a ton of people never thought about trying it.
Gotta have content to report.

Will it at least be the upgraded version you start with?

I honestly have no idea why, but it let me boost over all the traps and just open the door 😅
Same with ship parts... i dont want to use the mantis ship, but i want to put the cargo space on my main ship lol
0:15 Using your ships thrusters is also VERY helpful in a fight, use the boost function (LS on controller) to close the distance with ships, when they turn use the RB to activate thrusters making you turn a LOT sharper, giving you the advantage when locking onto enemies
Re weapons system. It’s a great idea as it makes loot still relevant later and you cannot craft something OP with maxed crafting early in game.
But you can't GET max crafting early game (well, ir's not straightforward).
Frankly, you couldn't do it in FO4 or Skyrim either.
If you have stolen items, you can sell it to the trade authority store and buy it back from their buy back menu for the cost you sold it for and it will get rid of the stolen icon.
The bartender at red mile also buys stolen goods
Was surprised that there was a different solution to the Mantis word puzzle. Spiffing Brit just blew up the turrets 😂

@8:25 there is also a small box in the middle of the "crafting room" in the basement that also has infinite carrying capacity.

This is the best tip. Especially great when the dungeon you are in is close to your ship!
I'll always respect you for jumping straight to the point.

@@matthew-005 I mean he even mentions using thrusters/alt mode in the video, which also requires piloting level 1 so your point is moot.
@@HorribleMuttonChops I accidentally put "did" instead of "didn't" mention thrusters in my original comment which changed the meaning it's correct now.
Brooo!! I absolutely LOVE how the video just starts with the content. No stupid intro to sit through telling us what the video is going to be about! We already knew when we touched the thumbnail!
I didn't know any of these, so id say they were helpful
Somehow, despite deliberately searching for something in game telling me how to use thrusters, I didn't find it
No they didnt explained the ship part
You can also just shoot the bolts on those red doors with a normal gun
"I won't spoil the backstory of this" he says after telling you the backstory... Also, save-scumming re-rolls on legendary armor stats is about the most anti-RPG thing I can think of.
Why even play the game? You could just use the console to edit in whatever you want or use a mod to give you whatever you want. What's the point in organically finding things and the luck of the rolls if you just save-scum or cheat everything?
Anyone know how enemy armor (what I am calling the white bar on top of some enemies) works? Why do I sometimes seem to bypass it/hit red before white depletes?
I think some mods/ammo types disregard armor
the thrusters can help maneuvering your ship as well, you can turn and get behind enemy ship really fast
For the turret section on the mantis quest you can also just pop an amp and run through the turrets before they hit you
There's also a computer you can hack at the end of the hall before the floor puzzle and you won't have to deal with turrets
Used to follow you religiously when I was hooked on FO76. Nice to see you also made the transition to Starfield.
The pin cutting thing was a blast of a five second video opening! WOW!
Did anyone notice the companion dying at the start
G O N E .
on the Tyrannis puzzle. Check for explosive fuel tanks that can take out everything.
Some of the design decisions in this game (like the advanced armor) are pretty perplexing. Especially given how long it was in development.
Fr not being able to craft med packs and ammo suuucks
@@seanaesI think you can with an outpost right?
There is also a 4th Tier. Calibrated, Refined, Advanced and SUPERIOR. The superior weapona deal insane damage, balanced for level 80 and foward.
Sony know where I can get superior weapons? Because now the shops sell advanced weapons( I can use command change them into legendary) I haven’t seen any superior weapons before even I use cheat, so superior tier only appear in ng+?
Do you know*
@@ihwnbihwnb7807 i test it. I use player.modav experience 600000 to level up to level 80. Wait 48 hours for vendors to restock, and they had a few Superior tier weapons. I think 75/80 is the level range for Superior weapons to spawm.
Saying that, Superior weapons are completely bonkers, and will decimate everything low/mid level. I suppouse they are there for NG+, because they are overpower.
Straight forward tips and tricks.
Easy to understand and really useful.

You can throw a Frag at the big red generator looking thing on the RHS and get all of them in one go aswell.
You are able to reroll the chests and use higher tier / "hard difficulty" glitch before entering the part of location (switch to hard - enter location, than - back to normal) . It works better with space stations, and it will update each 7 in-game days (in the same way as vendors update every 48 in-game hours).
Minor spoiler warning would have been nice
About healing stuff, a pro tipp. If you walk into your enemy's mouth and try to breed with them while the fight happening they hit you as often as you hit them. But, if you keeping distance, and use everything as cover and not trade damage but mostly give but not take, you literally NOT need to worry about your health. Every fire weapon damages the same in close, mid and long distance. Even shotguns to. I use almost only shotgun, and kill enemies in pretty long distances without spend a single healing item.
Maybe have a spoiler tag?? You spoiled mantis quest for me. Tips and tricks it said. Dont need to explaine the whole quest. I do enjoy your content and been watching for a while now and it's not the first time you do spoil. Think about it in the future. Good content! 👍
_bruh,_ i was literally just thinking it would be cool if the laser cutter had extra uses like letting you access hidden areas or break into containers.
Mfw when i'm so early that it says "No Views" under the video 💀
DANG IT I just did mantis lol. Personally I think spoiling the Tyrannis thing was kinda lame tho because that felt good to figure out myself
I been playing early access ...I didnt know half of these tips. Going to use these for my evil pirate playthrough 😂 great video
