Hi mate, we don’t seem to have any trouble with bloat here in our area. Which could be something to do with the soils? The only other thing that very rarely occurs is a case of red gut which is similar to bloat, which you can minimise the risk by supplementing roughage.
hey mate, in one of the videos you mentioned footbathing with zinc. Wondering what ratio you mix it? Wer have composite flock in Victoria. Ive always been told just throw some in?? We also use formalin. Any help?
Hi there Laura, a ‘wether’ is a castrated male sheep, and crutching is the process of shearing a couple of blows of wool off around the bum, to stop faeces from getting caught in the wool and potentially causing flystrike.
I Love that dog
You’ve got some well trained dogs!!
Most of the time 😄
Just curious at what brand collars and muzzles you use??
Hi Alex, the muzzles and collars are all from Elders, they seem to last well and we're happy with them!
Ok thx!!
Sangat manakjubkan....
In South Africa we also sometimes put the lambs In the Lucerne but we struggle with bloat what do you do to prevent this ??

It sill happens here I don't know a lot about it but it's got to do with the stage you graze the plant at.

Hey Lorna, we use 10% zinc to water. Also can try spraying some sort of an antibiotic in their feet on the badly lame ones! Hope that helps.
Just wondering what a weather is exactly? And what is crutching? :)
