Thanks man! I was looking for reviews for this model and I just bought the model! I hope it satisfies me for my fps, survival and story games with i5 12400f with 4060ti 16gb..
I am by no any means a gfx addict or resolution addict. So 1080p is more than enough for me. I had the AOC 24G2ZU but returned it twixe because of bad backlightbleeding and a bad glare at the bottom right corner - due to the power led shining back/through to the display. So how bad is IPS glow/backlight bleeding at least for the monitor shown in the video?
Some angles exhibit more IPS glow than straight-on view. I don't play at maximum brightness, and it's hardly noticeable head-on. I notice backlight bleeding in one corner during very dark scenes. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality. I suggest giving it a try, and if you're not pleased, you can return it as well.
I have a few questions as i am considering this monitor. How does the monitor fair in dark scenes? Is the noticable bleed and are the blacks black? Do you notice any latency/ghosting in low fps? How good are the colors, are they vibrant and is the contrast good? Is the physical quality of the monitor good? Thank you :)
The assembly quality of the monitor is good; it's made of plastic, but of a higher quality. It's very stable. The colors aren't perfect, so you might find better for the price. However, the refresh rate is 280Hz, there's no ghosting, and the backlight isn't distracting even in dark scenes.
If you are purely getting a monitor for color accuracy I wouldnt order this one, this PC has 240hz and is cheap, higher hz are usually meant for gaming, it is how much frames you can see per second, these monitors are usually expensive so to make them cheaper they dont use high quality screens, if you order a monitor for visual preference you should get something with less hz and better visual quality, this monitor wont be as color accurate as others, if you want high hz and high visual quality though, you will be spending upward of $500
Currently have a Alienware aw2725df 360hz 2k monitor, I play cod and got noticeable worse so I am currently downgrading since 27 is too much for fps games, this one seems like the one
If u haven't got 1 yet make sure ur graphics card can output 240 on ur desired resolution settings or ur monitor means nothing. From wat I've read a 2060 super can output up to 240 he max on low settings for certain games 1080p with dp 1.4. Cable that's capped at around 240hz swell. Get shielded certified and shortest u can for ur situation for lower lag. Keep the box that shipped ur stuff u will need it if ur shit stops working sometimes u get what u paid for
I heard about many overclockable monitors with 280hz that are bad with that refresh rate, but its base refresh rate like 240hz has less response time, but u lose on Hz
I would not buy a Asus TUF. I am looking at this review because i am not happy with my Asus TUF. I have the 32ind 165hz 1440p and ghosting is incredible, maybe the worst on the market. And it had a dead pixel.
is there any ghosting or sum? i want a 240hz with the best responsivnes and no ghosting for the best price for competetive games so i dont care about color, gamma a brightness.
Szia! Szeretnék érdeklődni, hogy megvagy elégedve a monitorral? Mert monitorvásárlás előtt állok és az Odyssey G4 és e között vacilálok. Előre is köszi a választ
@@More_Benchmarks I think it's like double the difference between 144hz to 165hz I had a 280hz monitor, ASUS VG258QM, but it broke. I now have a 165hz monitor and really wish I could get 280hz again. Do you still use the monitor? And how is it holding up today?

Its also perfect to pair with a streaming device like a chromecast, since the console mode allows the monitor to output a 4k60 signal.
I didn't know that either, thanks for the info!
Best review! Keep doing more...
I am considering this one vs. the IIYAMA GB2590HSU-B5 currently
which did u choose?

maybe yes only if u use the 280hz, at 240hz is not "OC" so it will not cause any bad response time overall

Hello i liked but i have a question do this monitor support gtx 1060 ? If yes can you tell me what avantage and disavantage ?
i think the gtx 1060 might not get 280 fps so it would not be smart to buy a monitor with 280 hz buy one with 144 or 120
If u want to buy a 280 hz monitor u need to atleast have a gtx 3060 or 3060ti
