Only problem with these engines that i have experienced is the fuel filter, or rather its location. Go try change one and youll see what i mean. Other than that i love mine. 1.6 idtec in a civic
These engines take hondas own "green oil". Its a 0w20 oil from what i can find out. They dont tell you whats in it but whatever is in there its pretty good, and expensive. Anyone you ask will tell you to use only that "green oil" in the 1.6
@@alexhickey5633hello alex are you sure it is 0w20 not 5w30? Well i was thinking about service my car at local garage rather than honda service center but not sure which oil grade should i use i was thinking about idemitsu 5w40 in summer (temperature often goes above 40) and 5w30 in winter
@@carname7391 its definitely 0w20. Where i am the oil and filter is like like 85 or 90 euros from honda. Went to the motor factors initially for the service kit and they directed me to the honda dealer for the oil and filter
