Блискуча імпровізація Цифри! Чудовий виконавець. На жаль так мало відомий нашому слухачеві при його житті. Подяка тим, хто дає змогу слухати Гениїв!!!.
fabulous.. love the slightly detuned piano, it fits so well for this. Do you have more clips of cziffra and this piano? from what recital is this clip?
Technically, an awesome tour de force. Musically, a sick travesty of one of Dvorak's most lovely pieces. I'm sure the composer would have been horrified.
I've always loved the modest original, but Cziffra's improvisations on it show his deep love for the theme and I think his expansion of it is absolutely phenomenal on both a technical and more importantly - *Musical* level - it's so spine chillingly intense and distorted in the most expressive of ways.
Greetings Chris, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention that my dear friend Shree has stumbled upon your comment, which he finds so sacrilegious that it has inadvertently become a part of our lexicon. Your name has now been immortalized as a synonym for anything deemed terrible in our circle. For instance, a subpar recording is now referred to as "the Chris recording." This ongoing joke has been a source of amusement for months now. I appreciate your understanding and thank you for your time. Warm regards
One of the greatest pianists of all time

The haunting melodies sing out against the dazzling virtuoso firework display. The black and white film makes it even more atmospheric.
Fantastic! The sound of genius times ten.
wonderful...is there any way to find this solo score?
The greatest.
Inégale ,le plus grand de tous
On repeat
Good choice.
Genius
It was Cziffra, and the others.
Very good interpretation.😘
Unbelievable. This unequalled virtuosity is ALWAYS profundly musically because of the expression of his deep soul, never demonstration of skill...
Cziffra è il responsabile delle crisi di depressione e degli istinti suicidi dei pianisti che hanno provato a suonare le sue composizioni
😂
Does anyone know how to transcribe this to sheet music?
¡MEJOR QUE EL ORIGINAL!
Goat
