If you book a room in that hotel is the entrance for the resort is already included or free?
I love that I can search for any theme park in the UK and find you've made a video on it.
This brings back so many good childhood memories! I stayed here a few times as a kid and was just beyond excited by it all. I remember also getting one of those rope string bags with lots of goodies in too with the logo on the front as a gift in the hotel. It was a great touch and I kept it for years 😄

I've been to the Gold Coast, California and Las Vegas, but after watching you for the last 12 years or so, I really want to visit the UK, and Alton Towers in particular. Oh I’m so glad they still have the ‘welcome to splash landings’ song! I remember that from when I stayed at the hotel about 8 years ago! It’s such a fun hotel and a brilliant, unique theme. This video definitely made me want to save up and stay again! A very underrated place for a UK break in my opinion. ☺️

My favourite AT hotel! Stayed there a couple of times, love walking through the corridor above the waterpark in the evenings, so lovely and warm in there - feels like being on a tropical holiday.

This is one of my favourite places ever, me and my family used to visit Alton towers every couple of years and we always stayed in splash landings!! Very rarely got to go into the water park but when we did we LOVED it. My mum and my sister got stuck on master blaster once and they had to close the ride or whole park (can’t remember it was ages ago now) down just to get them out 😭 Forever love pirate Bill who used to do the shows down at the pirate ship and also in the bar area 💖

I can't wait for those muffins too! I'll be having my next visit at the end of the Easter break. I never knew it got a face-lift over January, so hopefully it'll still be looking fresh considering it's only 3 months on. I'll never forget the first time we went though in 2021; they had a brief June refurbishment where the supposedly ancient boiler had just got replaced, meaning the building was consistently boiling hot.

Another good vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward for more. Really interesting hotel, could do in my opinion in future making indoor section bigger maybe via expansion into outside area via levels? Building a new slide or a few new types of body slides? For adults to enjoy aswell daring family members as think they could do with more selection indoors for all year? Yes about theme park, needs more theming to be more immersive & hoping that Jumanji sets the record high for all UK parks? Especially by how the stalls are looking aswell the buildings & planting by your & other theme park enthusiasts updates videos. Looking epic, think long shot but think Dreamland in Margate if made profit over the next few years could do with a themed area with a permanent built long & large coaster? That remains all year & all the time with a unique immersive theme? But doubt this will happen at least for now, but yeah nice vlog, nice themed rooms, look forward to seeing more in future & look forward always for more. 😀👍

I went to Splash landings on the opening year back when Cariba creek was for hotel guests only! I love this hotel so much walking in there as child is one of my favourite memories. I'm so sad that they no longer play the music in the lift! Is that the same in the Alton towers hotel lifts? That was the best bit!

Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow this brilliantly themed. I'd love to visit and stay there. I've been to Alton towers before a few times . The last time I visited was 1998 eeekk. I’ve been in that water park when the park was closed and had an amazing time it was so surreal being there when nobody else was

I will miss the old check in but I do agree it is better for efficiency and i also love the carpet but I have never seen the room without a bunk bed but it looks nice

7:38 Best bathroom theming I have ever seen at any hotel room. Alton Towers Splash Landings is the winner, unlike Genting Skyworlds hotel, which looked more like a Motel 6.

We stayed here last year - had a great time! My boys loved the water park - im not keen on water but did enjoy the outside area sat in pool and at side - was sad to leave!

Stayed there last year for 2 nights in August very busy but a amazing water park the hotel is great the only criticism is it’s very hot in the rooms apart from that we all loved it going back again this August.
It does get very warm!

Great Waterpark and setting. Like that you can take water pistols in as well. Great outdoor area. Just lacks a few more slides especially given that Stoke Waterpark is not too far away, plus Blackpools Waterpark is less than two hours drive from here. Plus a whole new large waterpark is currently being built in Manchester. We need them, as the UK population is increasing.

Appropriately, I did Caribbean music on my music session, this afternoon. My dad kindly gave me his previous swimming shorts to me a few years ago and I will have to try them before when I will next swim if they still fit me.

Great video guys, the hotel looks an amazing place to visit. One question to you both, can you walk around the hotels if you are not a guest? For example if you are visiting the park and not staying in the resort hotels?

This is my favourite Alton towers hotel, I have stayed in all of them, and I like this one the best,
I have got three nights booked to stay in the cabins in the enchanted village in a few weeks.
I was not impressed with the food now it has been taken over by an outside company, however this was at Chessington and not Alton towers,
The theming is fantastic!

Do you get the water park included when you stay at splash landings or is it extra?
It can be however not always!
Shawn, if you stay at the splash landings Hotel for one night, say a Saturday, do you get access to the waterpark on both days either side? Not sure how it works and it's not very clear on their website
It was only for one day on the package we booked and usually that’s the same with all packages

Master blaster is more fun in the double rings - you don't get turned around. They will let adults use them if under the weight limit.

It’s quite expensive. There is also entertainment on offer nightly!

My dad and his brother did all the tiling for the splash park, Alton towers promised a weekend for all the tradesmen family's but they never delivered 😅

Would you recommend this place for someone with physical disabilities? I would love a holiday but abroad isnt an option due to health issues. I have limited mobility but love to swim and be in water
