    The end of air pipe requires a Length of pipe with a 1000 x fine holes to foam up the water.

    thanks for posting. good work. some thoughts...
    you might try for a steady, higher 'flush' rate, with lower volume per. (by reducing volume of pump collector?) i have not been able to find an off the shelf, low-wattage air pump. low pressure high volume is needed
    each time it cycles, a geyser pump raises only the water standing in the riser. air should be injected at a certain depth below the water line, based on the amount of air available (probably 12 - 24"?). ( air: high volume, at 1-2 psi )
    in a geyser pump, the use of a larger diameter 'riser' pipe allows the rising air to spread out and separate into smaller, unconfined bubbles. by using one or more 3/4 or 1" riser pipes, when the collector 'flushes' moderate sized bubbles are confined in the smaller pipe(s). ideally, a cycle rate of one per second, should result in more water raised, using the same or less power. cheers

    so where is part 5? seen one on the same well where you was pumping like 24 gallons per minute but it had a different bottom end and a huge shop compressor and not the original setup with the little compressor.

    looks like its getting airated great

    You never did say if or how the little harbor freight compressor worked. It might work with smaller pipes.

    You don't need a compressor you need an air blower will provide a lot more air. and run cheaper

    Is a normal well pump not more efficient than a compressor? Just sayin.

    I find that I need 1/2 psi for every foot under water....and then the volume of air determines the rate of water that gets pumped.
    So ten foot deep is 5 psi.....the cfm, needs match the amount of water I need.

      I have a 100 ft well and it is 40 ft TO water. I was planning on putting 60 ft of pipe into the well so I will be down in the water 20 ft. There is no advantage of going any deeper is there? So you are saying I will need around 10 psi to bring water up? Those little 1/2 cubic foot air compressors should work ok? 1/2 cubic foot would be around 3 3/4 gallons. (7.48 gallons in a cubic foot). That would be over 2000 gallons a day pumping just during daylight on sunny days. Way more than I would need.

    any one think to use a hvlp turbine air compressor?
    low pressure high volume moderately heated air.
    use a floating suction so the lift is constant.obviously not in a 4" or 6" casing but an option for a man dug 36" well casing;;;
    run your exhaust supply direct to an >>>>>>elevated >>>>>>pressure tank
