Yeah i mention on other videos about mining, now ALT is required on all type of mining, also ROC mining, but on keybindings you can set to not press ALT.

Thank you, cave mining is more for exploration, to earn more, you need to try ROC mining, I made video abouth that also.
Good guide! The only thing I want to add is that some caves may contain/spawn outlaws or bounty missions. Come prepared and bring a friend.

You forgot to mention you have to keep the Alt-key pressed when using the scroll wheel to adjust the power of the mining tool. But otherwise a great introduction video for mining. I just started this game a few days ago and I love it: I had a lot of multi-tools and attachments I found in the loot while delivering packages. But I noticed they are not very reliable and sometimes they stop working after one or two nodes. So it is better to sell your loot and buy a new multi-tool and attachment. I heard it is the same for weapons you find as loot, they can jam in the middle of a fight and that is not what you need. Thanks for the video, liked and subscribed!

Hey Risbo, i iked your video on hand mining. Very good explanation. I have found Jenalite one time but fortunately couldn't sell it.(was bugged somehow) and lost it with latest pach. Was one rock with 10 gems. I found the cave through a site that explanes how to find all caves via pole markers and distance from points. Greet Mike-Paint.

I would have broken ship mining down into ship planet mining and space mining (and possibly even more with space mining)

I have the multitool on my back,but when i press 4 nothing happens. tried to look stuff up but couldn't find anything. i have no idea how to hold the thing in my hand

Hi the mineral in the cave wont scan for me, it tells me the name of the mineral but nothing else, what am i doing wrong?

I tried mining when I was in jail but I could not adjust the power with the mouse wheel. Is that a bug and if so how do you fix it?
Try to hold left ALT key when you scroling mouse wheel .
Where is the cave exactly? How do I get to it withought the mission.
Some players put some coordinates witch you can folow on net where is pozition of caves. But also now from today, you have misions with Kopions dogs, you can take that, its same caves, you just need to have weapon to kill them inside cave.
