Let me explain why the results of 《Singer 2024》 turned out the way they did. First off, this competition has taught the world a unique Chinese concept that doesn’t exist in Western languages: "面子(miànzi)" Literally related to the concept of"face," it embodies a person or group's reputation in a class-conscious society, reflecting their self-worth and seeking social validation. Simply put, when someone loses "面子", it often triggers extreme protective behaviors to prevent disgrace or loss of honor. To protect the Chinese singers' "面子", the show took a preemptive action. When you sign up to be a judge, they ask you about your "favorite singer" in the competition. You can see where this is going, right? During the finals, if most of the judges are fans of Chinese singers like Na Ying, the results become pretty predictable. The show can confidently claim there's no rigging, that it's all the judges' decisions. (Holy BS.) Sorry, "saving 面子" is an inherent trait of us Chinese people, and in a dictatorial society, it manifests in a rather alarming manner.
I don’t care what anybody says… This performance was completely brilliant and completely representative of who Faouzia is as an artist at the end of the day. The way that she rearranged the arrangement was just amazing and showed all of her performance abilities and vocal abilities.

Before she got on the stage and sang this song, one of the guests of honor in the episode told her that the program was Chinese and they would not let a foreign contestant win the competition. That is why Fawzia got angry and sang this song angrily and brought out all her talent on this stage.

Great performance, but the competition is not fair at all. I ranked fourth in this competition, and first, second and third place are for Chinese singers. This competition only supports its singers, and it is not fair.

Let’s be realistic, Faouzia in all of her performances was in the first places. It is not fair for her to be in fourth place.
After "Love on the brain" this "RIP Love" is probably the best thing she did on this Singer. Notably better than her duet, BTW. She will not be the winner of this season though. That honor will go to Na Ying... which, in my opinion, is totally undeserved even if we can pay tribute to her career. But honestly, there were many more deserving singers, like Tan Wei Wei for example.

Everyone is talking about the unfair result of the top 3 in this contest and it was unfair. But the show is amazing . The band, the lighting, the format with the competitors reacting in the waiting room. Every competitor wearing amazing clothing. They chose amazing singers. And more. I love the show. The finale setup was so weird and odd. They had to chose their duet partners. 2 or 3 per group. It was crazy that Faouzia was picked last. And eliminate one of the 2 or 3. This wasn’t televised in the show, but the made a separate video. I don’t know the details because it was in Chinese. Then the duet and final solo. So Faouzia was Fourth. That is disappointing, but I’m sure that she is glad that she took part in Singer. Near the beginning she said that she was there for the experience not to win. She is now a star in China. She’s in concerts of 60,000 audiences. She loves the country and wants a concert in every city is something said in an interview. It was such a good thing that Faouzia was in Singer. I looked every Friday to watch her new song. That was very special.
