- Hey everyone in todays video I am hooking the Kubota M6060 up to the New Tar River BDR-185 Drum Mower and trying it out for the first time. It is a six foot one inch cut which is a little smaller than our old 7 foot sickle bar mower but hopefully the time saved in clogs and knife section repairs it will actually be faster.

Just picked one of these up. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos to help us all gain familiarity and a nice starting point with our own set ups. 👍🏼👍🏼
I like how that mower raises to the side instead of swinging out behind like some do. I’m looking to get another disc mower, possibly a drum after seeing this one. I just don’t like how a drum mower brings the hay into a small row. Looks to be performing good! Take care.
Yeah it does good they do a 7 foot mower too but it still gonna windrow it definitely have to Ted after mowing to get it to dry
Great video!👍🏻
Thanks!
Great video!! Thinking of getting one of these for my L3901. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks! I’m really liking mine kinda would like to have the 7ft mower but it was a big price jump for an extra foot like over 1k more
Good choice, virtually no type of grass will clog this mower, and they're are extremely durable.
Yeah I am loving it so far had some good thick hay for the second cut and it cut through it like butter, and no hint of trying to plug up
What horsepower are you running?
Will your machine last ?
Ten or more years?
How many acres do you cut with that? Looking to get the same one to pair up with my kubota mx6000
I just cut 12 acres 2 or three times per year

I run a Kubota M6060 which is 63.5hp, I would say it will easily last ten years for my use.
