Rip mark davis he was a true legendary animator at Walt Disney and. They still miss him the most and why can’t the now in memoriam do this without singers.
Wow Edward Norton couldn’t look more disinterested if he tried. How’s your career now Ed? lol I for one would be honoured to pay my respects to these legends 😢

No room for 2-time Oscar winner John Stears, the real Q who was responsible for James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5, Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, the Jedi Knights’ lightsabers, R2-D2, C-3PO and many more?! Shameful!
So true! She was in so many things, especially the south park movie and the TV series as a whole. This is her reward for voicing every female character in south park, plus Jessie, Timmy Turner in the Fairly Oddparents Pilot, and Daphne?
I was just going through all of these over the years, and that was my reaction exactly. Leonard Nimoy was highlighted, and even James Doohan got a big mention. Why the HELL wasn't DeForest given a place here?
I just googled it, and apparently when Doohan was honored, it was a year late and only because his son actually contacted the Academy to ask why he had been snubbed the year before. I suppose there was no one that felt the need to do the same thing for DeForest.
Deforest was in MANY films before he was even on star trek, and the others did get mentions, primarily because of the star trek films. if they were honored, there's literally no reason why deforest was not, especially when he had a greater impact on hollywood than they did.
Now, let's be clear and fair, huh? Only a few legends who were honored at the 2000 Oscars Memorial tribute on ABC. Including actors George C. Scott, Hedy Lamarr and producer Allan Carr. But many others did not, including DeForest Kelley, Helen Vinson and John Stears. In the meantime, try to get the most of your facts straight, please ?
No dancers. No clapping. No nonsense. Just respectful. So much has changed.
i hear applause
God bless these artists and technicians who've got love and respect. Such as Hedy Lamarr. Forever and Amen.
