The Rose Adage | Pacific Northwest Ballet's "The Sleeping Beauty"

The Daily was invited to review Pacific Northwest Ballet's brand-new production of The Sleeping Beauty by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
Leta Biasucci (as Princess Aurora) performs in the final dress rehearsal on Jan. 30, 2025 at McCaw Hall in the Seattle Center. This is a brief video of her Rose Adage dance to the music of Tchaikovsky's Rose Adagio. Although the production has ended for this season, the $4M investment made by PNB in its costume, set, and other artistic designs will be back next calendar year.
Choreographed by Marius Petipa with costumes designed by Paul Tazewell (Hamilton, Wicked), the world premiere occurred on Jan. 31, 2025.
