"She blows the bunny" is a phrase i didn't expect to hear.
You wonder how much the mystics kind of regret passing on Angel. Her superior defense, rebounding and winning plays would've made having the "hometown" kid a spectacle. So far she looks like the 3rd best rookie AT WORST, and at least with Dallas you could argue they didn't need a big, and Rickea has shown flashes of being an elite efficient scorer coming of the sparks bench. Angel has just been better than Aaliyah at everything.
They didn't have the chance, Chicago had 2 picks before DC'S first pick, they wanted her but Chicago did too and wasn't going to trade the pick to them.
@@Al_reek DC had the 6th pick, they chose Aaliyah the pick before Angel who went 7th. And like, ,don't get me wrong, Angel didn't have the best tournament (although she was eating in the elite 8 before the ankle injury) so I dont think Aaliyah was the wrong choice at the time, she's gonna be a solid starter for her career, but Angel is gonna be an all star, easily.
I agree, and they should have kept Scott-Grayson. She is a beast, with a high IQ that not only can create for herself but, create for others. She’s a lockdown defender, a guard who will battle on the boards w/the bigs. Super shifty (handles are 2nd to none) and knows how to win. Waiving her confused a lot of people but, I guess they wanted to go with their “favorites.”
One it’s incredibly early and two she’s only averaging 20 minutes a game on a team with too many front court players and she’s getting no plays called for her like she did at UCONN. Angel is a stater playing nearly 30 minutes a game and her numbers and efficiency aren’t significantly better than Edward’s. Not saying Angel hasn’t been a huge boost to Chicago but we can’t make sweeping judgements about any of these rookies yet as they are all still adjusting to new roles and physicality of the WNBA
There’s just certain things you gotta look into, Angel is player more minutes than Aliyah due to Izzy and cardosa being injured. She gonna have a better start than Aliyah, The last game she same us about three times at the end and we blew it. Angel Is having a better wnba start than Aliyah but Aliyah is definitely the better player. She was the right pick and y’all gone see.

I hated seeing Cloud on the other team. She was so pivotal in Washington Mystics previous success along side EDD who chose to sit out this year. Strange that we haven't heard from her to explain what's going on with her career.
She doesn’t wants to to play for Washington anymore so is sitting this year so the Mystics can’t tag her and keep her on the roster next year that’s what I think anyway
the mystics are 0-5 with all 5 losses being within 7 points and 4 of those losses they had a lead in the 4th quarter in, brutal start to the season for them.
".....brutal start to the season for them." There is nothing coincidental to the start of the season, like that Hall of Fame football coach said, "you are who your record says you are, because this is who they really are(0-5), there isn't anything really that brutal about the start!

It’s crazy. I was not supposed to when my 161.5 Over. I even turned off the game and went to bed. Then I wake up this morning to see that they got to 163? That last minute was insane.

This game seemed rigged ! Phoenix missed covering the 2.5 point Spread and the total combined score of 42.5 end of 1st quarter both by a half of a point. Half time score was also half a point under the 3.5 point spread. Fortunately I caught on and made a live bet end of the 3rd quarter and I bet on the mystics that were down by 14 knowing the mercury wouldn’t cover the spread. Got my money back and some. Cant tell me this game wasn’t rigged.
Something was off here. Coaches and players are gambling. They make 500 a game. There is more money in gambling than winning
