Everyone makes mistakes. Unfortunately some of our mistakes dont stay private. I think its quite honourable of you to be so completely upfront about it all man. People seem to forget you choose what content goes out. You couldve just never said a word, fixed the damage off camera and acted like it never happened. Love the M4 content, id say go for it and splice that 12V in so its hardwired, tuck all the wires away and it will be super OEM+. Id also personally put a rubber gromet on that wire that runs through the bottom of the battery tray. Just to reduce the chance of getting any moisture up in there. Keep it up dude!

Gavin, we all appreciate the honesty but being tired isn’t an reason to go out driving as being awake for more than 24 hours is equivalent to having a 0.1% alcohol in your blood, which is over the legal limit. But we’re glad that everyone safe and well, but just be more cautious awhile filming for content. Love the content and the new into, bring me back to watching you when I was 11 (17 now).

Hey Gavin they have cutout kits that have a simulator in them for the factory cutouts so they think they are still doing their job and u don't have to zip tie the factory ones under there somewhere. Through coding/tuning there are also ways to remove them and the codes so the car doesn't care about them anymore, Have encountered some that i can use other cutouts on factory wiring no problem with no SES light as well. So many ways to do it right but totally feels wanting to get the exhaust on there now, With a little googling u should be able to find simulators or another method to bypass. That exhaust sounds great and u get the best of both worlds with cutouts, I ran one on my civic to have a nice quiet factory looking exhaust cause i lived in VA and emissions laws suck up there so have to hide everything. Just 3" piping off turbo to the cutout where it was open 3" dump tube that came out right behind passenger front wheel for one mode and then the normal 3" exhaust that had a 24 inch resonator and then a flowmaster 40 muffler turned sideways cause on a 88-91 civic the exhaust doesn't just come out the passenger side like most civics. For some reason it crosses over in the back so nice chambered muffler tucks right up and looks factory, it was all painted VHT flat black and just a small REAL carbon tip. Got so many compliments on that exhaust and it had such a cool sound with no drone. When i had a NA motor in there for a while its was even cooler cause the turbo muffles the exhaust a bit. Tig welded it all myself and all mandrel bends with a $50 FM 40 muffler and it sounded better than my $700 Greddy 3" SP2 cat back that i had on a 95 SI hatch Single cam turbo at the time .
22:13 The plug on the end of that harness has screw clamp connectors so that you can SHORTEN THE HARNESS to the length you need and not have to crimp on pins to the end of the shortened wires. You can easily cut that harness down to length and not bundle up several feet of extra wire for a much neater installation!
Gavin you don’t need to explain yourself mistakes happen. I know and I’m sure a lot of people know you wouldn’t give away a car that’s messed up. Keep doing you man keep up the great content!
Yo Gav! Not sure if you did but, I’d throw some silicone or something in those bolt holes you fed the valve wires through. So no water gets into the battery there. Great video man keep it up 🤘🏼

Just a fyi the trunk liner is held in by pop tabs. It takes seconds to remove. i’d recommend pulling the carpet and just tuck everything behind it. You may have to cut a tiny piece out to tuck it under the trunk liner.
Props to you for not drinking brother, I am in the same boat. I just don’t drink for my own reasons. I don’t hate on or look down on those who do. Just my own personal decision 🙏

Just a slight concern Gavin. You will need to seal the holes in the boot, for the exhaust valve cables. Water may get in the boot through time.
