  • Watch as The Climbing Doctor interviews Arc'Teryx athlete Jonathan Siegrist about his experience with injuring and rehabilitating his Grade III AC joint rock climbing. This interview occurred in 2020, 5 weeks after Jonathan had a grade III AC sprain. After diligent therapy and several months, Jonathan returned to full strength climbing. He continued to train and shortly after, he sent his most challenging project yet.

    What about an ac joint dislocation?

      There are 6 grades of AC joint separations. A dislocation is another word for separation. In order to determine the grade of injury, you can have a medical provider perform imaging. The degree discussed in the video is a grade 3 which is a complete tear of the acromioclavicular ligament.
