I bought this NS400Z. Took it for a long ride right after the delivery, i got 36kmpl, the speed i maintained was 80 to 90 kmph. But I did not ride it all along in the 6th gear, i used 4, 5 and 6th gear just because the engine and piston rings should get set for various loads and RPM. i didn't cross 6k rpm though. And also took breaks every 1 hour for the engine to cool. There are vibrations from 2.5k to 4k rpm. And i used speed and power petrol, not the ordinary fuel

Not if you compare with other 400cc bikes. This is one of the smallest 400cc bikes available. Looks like a 200cc bike.

I think braking bite is the major issue in this bike..... Bajaj should have given atleast Bybre Radial 4 piston caliper brake instead of 2 piston flaoting caliper.... Don't know why bajaj has done cost cutting in providing good brakes..... Radial 4 piston calipers brake should be made compulsory for 400cc & above bikes..... ABS is of no use if there is no good brakes to stop the bike. Stupid cost cutting from Bajaj this time.
1 thing is hard to understand. If I drive my hatchback at 90-100 on highways, i get around 23-24 kmpl with AC.

quickshifter nahi diya hai. matlab optional toh de dete kam se kam. and clipon handles are gone. even ns 125 / pulsar 125 has clipons. so in my opinion this bike is not 100% pulsar NS bike. 3 cheeze bahut galat kiya hai. 1) thin tyres & low grip (bad quality rubber) 2) looks, its the same old ns look. you cannot tell if its ns125 or ns 400 from side and rear view . 3) no quickshifter, its not available even as an option.
Why it over heating?
This bike NEEDS a better set of tyres.Which will increase this bikes price to above 200k....question is, is it a good deal then?

Finnally a long ride review
Mileage ke alava koi problem nahi hai iss bike main muzhe.
Ek youttuber ne pyar se uske Aprilia RS457 ka 25-29kmpl ka mileage nikala tha. to ye to usse kam revving engine hai. Iska mileage thoda aur upar jana chahiye.
But watching Rider Veer Ji and Gearfliq channel I have hope because they got between 30-35 kmpl mileage during there testing which is close to what Honda claims for there CB300F😅😂
Bas Mileage thoia badh jaye ya petrol ka tank, ye bike main koi problem nahi bachi. Tires pe main after market kharcha karne keliye tayyar hu 🤣
My cb300f gives 40kmpl on highways cruising between 90-100
Milega to badhega nhi but km ho jayega... Or petrol price badhega 😂😂😂😂 mza lena petrol station ka😂😂
