Veterans and youths, representing the steelbands - CAL Skiffle and Skiffle Protégés - horn and rhythm sections, calypso, soca, chutney soca, sailors, gorillas and Indian mas, all characterised the moment.

If you expect Caribbean children to remember West Indian Reader in this day & age- Sorry..... 😄 😂 😎 I agree with Rachel Price, excuse me Pricey. Children learning thorough computers 🖥️ and the internet today. Books 📚 are there, but learning has become virtual. If teachers ketching dey tail with the children, imagine what parents going through during the pandemic.

Every child had a student’s companion. I actually bought one from amazon. This is why I like Blaxx music. It had meaning. You have to be educated and intelligent to make that kind of music. Like Kitchener and Sparrow. Most of our calypso now is nothing but rubbish.

Lmao..I bought my grandson a West Indian reader from Amazon as soon as he was born. He's not even 2yrs old yet and loves books. That and the pan that Bambi made for him , will ensure he is grounded in his Caribbean roots. ❤❤❤🇹🇹
