Gairy introduced Pre-Primary Schools which is today the base of our Education System. The Junior Secondary School System was also introduced and new schools were built: Boca, St. Mark's, Happy Hill and Hillsborough in Carriacou. The PRG changed them from Junior Secondary to full Secondary.

As much as I love this, I believe they all went about it the wrong way and too boldly!! They should have all planned and organised in secret and moved together when they were all ready. They made themselves too easy of a target for the traitors and the oppressors. From Marcus Garvey to Bob Marley, all eliminated and still happening. Being from Trinidad and Tobago does not make calypso Rose the calypso queen of the world. There are many many, female calypsonians in St. Kitts Nevis, Antigua, Grenada and the other islands who are far better than Calypso Rose.
