I just tried la nuit and it smelled very similar to D&G , but I think D&G is more stronger for sure.

The fragrance of The One on the skin is much different than on the card, it needs the oils of a man to create the full fragrance that the girls are smelling at 6:42
Yet to try The One, but YSL La Nuit de L’Homme is a BEAST of a complement getter. The only other cologne that gets as many requests about what I’m wearing is Creed Aventus

I bought The One first. I tried it out and I wasn’t as happy as I was with La Nuit. So I returned The One and Exchanged it for La Nuit. I just think La Nuit is just unforgettable

they're both good .. i own the one because you can get it at a good price online, ysl is hard to find at a good price but i would definitely buy if i found at a discount ... can't go wrong with either one tho
Got a 60 ml for 50 just some days ago. Where I live most of the YSL go for 60 just for the 40ml.
I can get 60ml of la nuit for £35 in UK

Both of these fragrances are MUST HAVE scents for every man. La Nuit de L'homme is the best, undefeated! But The One by D&G is amazing too.

Very thorough he asks so many people. I own both fragrances and they are both powerhouse and masterpieces. Top notch the best. Mmwwaaa! I love them.
I get far more compliments from the ladies with The One than with La Nuit. When The One mixes with skin chemistry and that spicy/fruity tobacco accord hits....its all over. Its just more masculine. La Nuit is more unisex so females may prefer it on paper than on a man because it reminds them of something they would wear themselves.
no way ysl is more masculine than the one. The vanilla is so strong. I own both.

2 great fragrances both very weak unfortunately 10+ years ago these were a great choice in today’s world there are plenty of better options but these are definitely classics

dont buy LNDL in 2022. reformulated to BITS, its been reformulated at least twice. and they recently discontinued eau electrique.
its the only scent I want, that I do not own out of my 16 bottles. awaiting YSL to get their shit together and fix it. they did such a great job with Y parfum and Y EDP after Y EDT . all great in their own accord.
why couldn't they keep that same level of quality with LNDL ?
Stop advising people not to buy the legendary perfume. This is a close encounter /date night fragrance and not a versatile beast mode, it's not designed for that . When I spray on my cloths I smell it all day and people close to me will smell it and that's what it is for. Goat Scent!
It was reformulated 4 times, to be exact. And even in 2022 smells better than anything else on the market.
I asked the same question to my perfumer friend. He told, supply and demand. Think LNDL. They made strong, right? It was a bestseller. Then they reduce the essence (for profit) then still a bestseller. So they reduce more...more..and more until the demand is decrease future. That's why They make a lot of the essence of the first released perfumes because the demand was low like YSL Y in 2018. I heard Y now is max. 2-3 hours. Got it?

getting compliments is so dated now.....if it doesn't get you jumped on literally with your clothes being ripped off.....then it's not that good of a Parfume.

I believe tha the one edp smells so much better on the clothes and in the guy in general and ysl smells better on the start notes in the paper
I gifted my dad LNDL since it's not strong and he works at a hospital. He's been getting compliments from coworkers and patients alike. People are always asking him what he is wearing, but he can't tell them because he can't pronounce french words. Lol, he only tells them it's from YSL.
Its all subjective. I have both but La Nuit has been reformulated so the Bleu Electrique is the best one for long performance if you like the YSL La Nuit. Just my opinion. I have all of them, they discontinued the blue electrique now.🤷🏻♂️
Just stumbled upon this video while doing my research about a good man's perfume. Can you please do a skin test with people (wear the perfumes on your wrist) rather than jacket or strip test? Dolce smells very differently on skin.

Yeah for the first 2 hours. After that you can't smell them anymore. They ruined it by reformulation upon reformulation.
That's the biggest sampe size I've ever seen in one of these. Would love to see a loud clubbing fragrance battle with: Versace Eros, JPG Ultra Male, and Rasasi Hawas.

Which is a better buy Versace Eros EDT or the EDP even after the reformulation of the EDT
Edp is better. I have one and its more mature than edt. Both are great but considering the fact that Edt came back several years back its reformulated and performs half as good. Anyways whichever version you buy, its a good thing to keep the cap off for a few days or even weeks. It will help in the perfume getting stronger.
