"Strangers in the Night" has become one of my favorite albums of all time. I bought it when I was a teenager and into TD, but I didn't really start listening to it until I was about 39 years old after going through the art world, and then it made total sense. I think you have to have lived life as an artist to really get the album and where it's coming from. I think that maybe to the average person it sounds amateurish because it's actually trying to recapture innocence lost. I listen to it regularly now, and it always makes me feel like I'm hanging out with an understanding friend.

Why did he leave TD

He said he had a bit of a falling out with Edgar Froese, in addition to the fact that he was just kind of getting burned out and didn't find it all as fun as he did when he first joined TD.
