- Here is a Canadian TV interview video from Tangerine Dream's 1992 North American tour in very poor picture quality. Edgar Froese and Jerome Froese as well as Linda Spa can be seen and heard. A short clip from the official music video "Optical Race" has also been shown.
Went to this performance at the Wiltern theater in LA in 92

Hahaha When she asked "Did you see Kiss? Did you see the Kiss show last night?" - Erm, what, you're asking that whether The members of the more established group TD saw YOUR current favourite (of the moment) bands previous nights show??? Lindas face was a picture at that moment too (The constant returns to Kiss. - No I'm not knocking Gene and Kiss as they have their style/followers and yes, known great tracks)... But TD? Yeah, TOTALLY different genre and yes dear... Where's Kiss now?
AAAAAAAND dear, might I add, this whole "returning to traditional guitars, sax, it comes and goes, and such instruments....." comment... Er, Electronic Music, the movement, the development, and well modern day equivalent - EDM _ Worakls, N'to, Toi, Luis M - Melodic Techno, as only ONE example... ALL STARTED from the Gods of their genre, TD, Kraftwerk, JMJ, Mark Shreeve, Vangellis, Mike Oldfield, OMD, Visage.... and so the list goes on and on....

Hello! I agree with you it is a strange interview in some parts. But unfortunately there are not many interviews of Tangerine Dream, especially not from TV. So you can be glad that there are some at all. Nevertheless, you get some information that you may not have known. That's how it was for me anyway.
@@theodorrand I agree, bless her, inexperienced, a tad naive, and definitely at the time into a certain 'Band' lol. Like the "Well that's interesting, have you had many rock bands come to you with regards to.... (interpreted -"Well, that's interesting, have you had KISS come to you with regards to...")... Bless her...
Anyway, a good little trip down memory lane.....

What about, beautifully combined, absolutely faithful to the originals, creating sounds as though Edgar and co did themselves, and making a sheer 12 minute long mix of... Quite frankly sheer bliss?

Note, GOOD quality/balanced (not bass heavy - looking at you 'Beats') headphones, or a well set up sound system in your Car/Home etc...

I think she asked it a segue to her question but also because it is a pretty well known that artists very frequently go to each others concerts and very often cross genre as they are often friends or friends of friends.
