This. Was the first game I played for Xbox. In preschool. My dad did not know how to parent, but I’m glad I got to play this. It was a fun game, even if I didn’t know what I was doing, other than getting arrested and having my brother get me outta handcuffs.
***** Yeah, the movie is brilliant. I enjoyed it very much. It's been a long time since I have last seen it though. As for this game, it's awesome and very well made. It follows the movie quite well...but not exactly (kinda like 007 Goldeneye the movie and the N64 game). There are some side missions that occur every now and then that you must complete in order to progress in the game. I've completed this game 100% about a few months after it was released for the XBOX. It is a long game and it gets wild. On the plus side, there is a Double Dragon arcade style game (with characters from The Warriors) that is an unlockable once you complete the game. Rockstar did good here.
Revisited this game about 2-3 years ago and i had the best time with it, but recently the xbox shit the bed so now I'm purchasing a modded Xbox and will definitely be re-revisiting this gem if a game; absolutely timeless. I always loved beating the absolute shit outta the cops.

Everyone says the graphics for Xbox are the best on this game but this looks no different and it looks more acceptable on PSP, the newest version of the complete game. PS4 looks identical and is missing several Flashback Missions. The only difference on XBOX is contrast which can be easily adjusted with TVs nowadays

The camera of this game is the most pitiful that exists in the entire catalog, and that is not small. Pity that it was not polished, since the game is remarkable.
I don’t know. I do remember that there was a glitch in multiplayer where it wouldn’t let you jump the roof if there was more than one player on that level, though. The original Xbox was fun, but it’s games glitches a lot.

Great game, but I think there's way too much fanboyism going on about the graphics and in general. Typical Rockstar bootlicking. One of the worse looking PS2 titles and it came out 2005, when games like MGS2 already looked 10 times as good in 2001, along with mocap animations, The Warriors looks like claymation in comparison.
