*I appreciate you all taking the time to post short and long videos! Not many boot companies do that. They're great videos! Keep up the good work! These boots look awesome!*
Certainly appreciate the level of craftsmanship... one question though, other than maybe maintaining a period correct style is there a functional reason behind all of the tapered high heels in these boots?
Wait im confused. If the whole bottom of the last is metal plated in order to clinch the nails, then how does insole stay fixed on the last and how does the upper stay fixed on the insole??
At 12:06 you can see us attaching the insole to the last. This is done with three nails that actually drive into the last itself and don't clinch (there are holes cut out in the metal for the nail to drive thru). The nails are taken out at a later point in bottoming. As for how the upper stays fixed to the insole, those nails in the lasting process are driven through the upper and insole hit the metal and clinch back into the insole🙌
*That's how they make their boots! They also make the boots according to how their customers want them. Because, they do have boots on their store page that aren't tapered. So if you want those, take a look and see which style you want 😊*
Literally just ordered a pair a couple of hours ago. This is a sign.
Just meant to be 🤷♂️ Enjoy!

That stiching around the 10:00 mark is a work of art. Unbelievable talent!!
Takes a lot of skill 💪 Definitely makes it look easy!

That’s a art
Very cool to watch. Little bit pricey for my skinny wallet. But you guys should be proud for the product you turn out. Craftsman are a dying breed.
Appreciate the support! We take a lot of pride in our craft!
Those are nice looking hands.
CNC laser cutter would be handy here.
*I've seen other bootmakers use it. It's a cool process!*

👌☯️. Very good luck man 👌☯️
👍👍👍👍👍
I dont think ive seen this before. Are yall using celastic in the foot bed for squeaking? 20:17
It is a proprietary foam material that ensures our boots do not squeak 👍
What was the material added at 20:16 ?
Either a thin piece of leather or a thin piece of foam
*In another comment JK Boots says it's proprietary foam material to prevent squeaking.*

@@jkbootsusa thank you so much🙏
Don't you need online shills to promote the boot? I guess quality speaks for itself.
*They post videos to encourage more sales 😊 One of the ways anyway.*
🤍
Everything was alright until you put those tapered heels. Please stop doing that
