What is it like to own a boat in Washington DC?

In this video my boat partner Leo and I share all the important things to know about owning a boat in Washington DC. We went into it together splitting all costs 50 - 50. We talk about how much we spent on the boat, common maintenance issues, how much we spend in the marina, etc. We also share some facts about boating in DC.
We think that this video will be great for others that are considering to buy a boat specially for first time boat owners. We did not know anything about owning a boat and we have done many mistakes but we have also learned a lot through the whole process.

How did you get off the boat in Georgetown? I've been down there a million times, but didn't realize the boardwalk was so much higher than water level!

It’s not usually the case. Water level is usually higher.
