This is an interesting documentary with unique insights. I spent 10 years in TKD, and I'm 4 years into my Brazilian Jiu-jitsu journey. I always enjoy seeing "old school" information and footage! OSS! ❤🎉😊
Great video much respect to all the Masters i learned a lot from Yoel Judah and Brother Oliver in the martial arts world of Sanuces at the Bed-Stuy boxing center. All these brothers are legends in the game shout out to Pofessor Shem, rest in power DR. Moses Powell & Prof VEE saulte!!!!
Bruh, I found out about Sanuces in the early 2000's and could only wish the system was available in Florida.... having a background in many many years of Aikido, Hakkoryu jujutsu and Yoshitsune Jujutsu, I wanted to pull all of those skills together with what I saw in Sanuces... thank you for this documentary, please don't let this system and its history quietly become diluted and vanish into some softer, more commercialized style being used to make money
Peace! This was a GREAT watch! As a child, I studied under Anthony Muhammed before and during When Worlds Collide was open Downtown BK. Anytime Master Moses was in attendance, it was like watching Superman do his thing. He taught me how to roll with 2 fingers. He did it with one, and he's a big guy.
Peace! Funny; I just got off the phone with a Brother and Friend and was telling him that I have heard many say that he (Dr. Moses Powell) was the closest they’d ever come to seeing Superman. And here you go, saying just that. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment Brother.
I genuinely love the fact that you did this. I know that you will soon be naming names and all I can say is that when you do that, you will have so much heat that y’all will be doing some “CLEANSING “. Nudge nudge.
RIP Professor Micheal Black EP System. Sanuces. Sugar Ryu jujitsu. Stone Ryu Jujtisu the 1990’s was different but Back Prof. Prince was a killer and iykyk you had to be there to understand the truth.: 🤲🏿 Oooussii Thank you for sharing Big Brother!! Hands of steel!!!
Love this. This is Aurash from Oklahoma. That toy is no joke and my fingers and arms getting swole. Truly enjoy seeing these stories come together after all these years. It Feels like a favorite show waiting for the next episode.
@MrStClair247 “The Toy”, “The Toyka” or “The Apparatus “ was created by Professor Marvin Gatling about 50 years ago. He designed it as a means of “giving martial artists the strength they are supposed to have “. He said that he actually prayed for such a device. So The Toy’s purpose is not to ‘get ripped “ or for body building, it is for strength building and self defense. It works by combining isometric and isotonic exercises in all of its movements and uses. It gives the user the attributes that martial artists take years to acquire in a short time by not only strengthening the muscles but the tendons, ligaments, bones and connections (joins). It unifies the body (and the mind if done correctly), which is where (and how) true strength is achieved. Check out The Toyka Story on this channel. Thanks you for asking.
Thank you Brother; it really is no joke. Prof. Gatling and Moses Powell remind me of each other in that they both prayed for what they received (and those of us that are fortunate to experience The Gift....feel Blessed)
Man Sanuces goes DEEP. This was well produced.
Indeed Brother. let's try and speak this week...
Amazing and much needed information, Thank You for posting !!!!
