    I wouldn't call that a fail, screen printing is just a bit of a learning curve. Have you explored maybe having a custom rubber stamp made for each of you're designs? It's definitely an easier way to apply your branding. The reason your having a hard go is that the screen needs to be held in a press (you can make a very simple one out of wood and a couple of butterfly hinges). Screen printing is used for many things, t-shirts being the most well known. But it's used for packaging, electronics, computer circuit boards, etc. If you decide to build or buy a simple one color press you may need some sort of light adhesive on the pallet to keep the boxes from sliding around. When printing t-shirts on a screen printing press adhesive is used to make sure the shirts don't move. Do a YT search for screen printing boxes, you'll find some useful info and see the kind of equipment you will need to pull it off. Great vid!

      Thank you so much! I definitely need to keep practicing for sure. I have the hinges in my watch list on eBay due to purchase them soon. I tried the embossing technique with y rubber stamp and it didnt work! :( Definitely going to do more research to make it work! xx

    You can buy clamps for the Screen that attach to the end of the table. Usually fot flat items.

    You did amazing, on the boxes do you have your boxes flat before you put the box together, and when your doing the passes do it one time and then go back to the top and do another one. But good job just a trial and error process

    • @TadiiG
      @TadiiG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! yes the boxes do come flat so when it flat I recon it will be easier to do! I will try this technique next time for sure xx

    Lay the Lid for the box flat on the table and use ur body wait to press everything down....
    The trick is to keep everything flat that's why it works for the envelope and the paper.

    what type of boxes are yours? I am looking for packaging now and custom is SO expensive, but also rigid boxes are so expensive in the UK! Recomendations would be amazing!

    Tadii! You did great! Not a fail at all. I’ve not tried this but personalised packaging is definitely the aim for me too! Maybe try and tape down the screen with masking tape on both sides (it peels off easily) or purchase (if you don’t have one) a clamp/ vice mechanism to clamp the box and the screen to your table. I’ll see how much they are and come back… you did a great job! Keep persevering. I absolutely love to see the hustles to get what you want! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

    I literally got so excited and it wasn't even me doing it. I feel like I would give this a go especially if it's executed correctly then I don't see the problem. It's all about enjoying the process. If your able to do it and get a method going and are able to have the time to screen print then I would do it. I love that your willing to get your hands dirty and get involved with ALL aspects of the business and learn new ways of doing things. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💖. BOSS!!! well done for the attempt. Also maybe it's the type of finish on the packaging box for why it never came out the way you way you wanted compared to the paper. Is their a slight sheen finish on the box??xx

    • @I_love_being_me.x
      @I_love_being_me.x 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Also I read it maybe the ink type for why it's not coming out the way you wanted on the box so maybe that works best for the paper envelopes but for anything that has a finished coat to it you need a different ink..but I really don't think your first attempt was a fail at all, far from.

    • @TadiiG
      @TadiiG  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahahaha thank you soo much! yes the box does have a sheen on it. The ink was random from eBay so hopefully I can get better ink if I do a bit more research!
      And absolutely I love being involved in everything!💕 xxx
