When I was young I was always so jealous of my friends that went to Disney World. My parents could never afford a trip to Florida and take us there...we were poor.
2:02 I hate to break it to the editors of the footage, but the Tomorrowland entryway footage is clearly from 1973 as the Crystal Palace would have just opened that year but the Star Jets (September 1974) and the Peoplemover (which started construction by then) are clearly not visible in the shot where they should be.
I was there in 1974, they were building Space Mountain! We could see the skeleton of it. Does anyone know when they got rid of that Mickey Mouse Revue (or whatever it was called?) I loved Trip to the Moon, early 70s space travel was totally cool to me. I will always remember If You Had Wings. So glad there is footage and music from it on you tube.
The footage of the swan boats is fascinating. Thank you for the video.
It's pretty cool to see how much has changed and how much really hasn't. Great restore!

Wasn't expecting 12 minutes of silence... But the visuals are cool
I met Pam Brunker at Disneyland in Anaheim Ca. I miss her so much..

The copyright on the film leader states 1974.
(9:08--9:13) That's from the Disneyland version of Pirates.
Yeah this was probably promotional footage

Awesome video. All you need to do now is add some background music. Great though.
I don't remember the boat ride. When did they remove it from in front of the castle?
I was only three years old that year
This film DID have sounds.
It was also sold as a silent version.
