It's based on a real car (which only has four wheels) called "The Beast", built buy a guy called John Dodd. Go look him up, the entire story is bonkers.
The real car managed a whole two miles per gallon!

I'd love to see a BeamNG take on the old forza "Race to run out of fuel".
of course, consistent endurance racing is much harder, but with the ability to change the initial amount of fuel in the tank it could make for some interesting competition.

I think the fire hawk is based on a real vehicle two. I think donut did a video on that but I can't remember.

I think I Know what was up with the prop-driven Pigeons and what made their steering so sensitive: because the prop is raised well above the wheels' hubs, it's forcing a load onto the front wheels that wings and an empennage would normally counteract, but since they're not there, the car has what's basically a lot of front downforce and none on the rear when you're on power, and none when you aren't.
Does make me wonder if you could make a version that, like, just had the tail and the prop and no wings, so you could manually trim it like an unlimited hydroplane or something. Having a rudder might help you steer more too.

this game is silly. a merlin engine probably makes 945 hp at sea level with no supercharging. It's rated for over 2000 hp at altitude at 72 inHg.
