    Always be a step ahead.
    I had no talent for pool, but what I learned in the pool room-I took into the phone room, where I did have talent.
    The skills I leaned and psychology I applied on the phone learned in pool treated me very well.
    Mike Defino turned me on to the phone room.
    Pool taught me so much it defines what I am today as a result.

      @@cjwiley1541 JA and I talk about that trip often and we have the same thoughts(some good, some not so good) was still one of the great trips. Was so glad to share that time with you! I’ve been lucky to have the access in pool that I’ve had while not being a top player. For that I’m thankful.
      Always good to see you CJ, the Keith interview was spot on. I was around Keith a lot in the mid 80 until 92/93. Fun times as well!
      Best your friend

    I love equipment discussions. I like to hear what high level players think.

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The equipment these days is much easier and the rules make it even easier as far as rotation games - one pocket has gained momentum as a result

    Are there any videos of the ESPN Ultimate 9 Ball Events from the PCA? I used to love those tournies and the format.

      We put some of them up on TH-cam, with some searches you could find them "ESPN PCA POOL EARL CJ JEANETTE" will probably bring some up.

      Lots to read out him online - gotta sort through a lot of bogus information, it's best to not use Google, a Pre Search Program is best or Duck Duck Go is a little better - the censoring these days makes it almost impossible to find high level Truth - they are trying to eliminate all Truth and replace it with a reverse engineered model ....most people have no idea this is happening because they aren't in the Truth seeking mode.

      There's a video on TH-cam that I run 29 balls in one pocket check it out especially how I break the balls then play that with yourself and alternate pockets - keep score and you can take ball in hand after the break, I didn't in that video but you can and try to get to 20 balls in 5 innings then 30, 40 is pro and 50 is Efren level

      @@cjwiley1541 Aside from the big name players, I remember redcap, Rubens, John Kelly, Gary Wayne, skizzy Cathy, little Al & Tara, and many more. There was a guy who had a nice little business building play houses for kids. I forgot his name, but he loved to play one pocket, and after losing a loong session, he broke the butt end of his new Szamboti on the wall. That's how I ended up with an extra shaft for the one I had bought off Bob Vanover (RIP). That was in 1984, when G S was still alive, and everyone thought I was crazy to pay 1,500 bucks for a cue. One road player / hustler I became friendly with was BigFoot aka Dave and gf Debbie, with the converted frito lay van with Alaska license plates, canoe on top. If you come across him, please say hi from the German guy. Cheers

    CJ it's seems like anyone who was a pool hustler and led that kind of lifestyle was a character. I guess it's a prerequisite to take that journey and decide that is what you want to do. I suppose only the strong survive going in that direction in there life

      No, I'd bet anything that he's a controlled opposition shill - I can't go into detail because this is their latest psyop and I've learned, like what they did in 2020, they will not tolerate their shills to be knocked - and I understand, I don't like knockers either but I also don't like my friends getting tricked into a $lave mentality and victim consciousness.....if you like the song and him that's fine but we will have nothing in common except maybe pool - anyone that starts a song with "I sold my soul" claims depression, mental illness and suicidal thoughts should NEVER be a role model especially for children.....this is my opinion and you and/or an army could never change it.....so let's agree to disagree and leave it at that, I am fine with you liking him and the song, just read the lyrics sometime without the music and double check (for the sake of science).
      The Game is the Teacher 💪
