If you don't see any screws there will be 4 pieces of rubber outside that you have to pry out. Then you have to go inside and push the glass out. It might be stuck to the metal frame so you have to use a carpet knife or razor blade to free the glass.
John's Window & Door, my windows doesn't have the frame around the fixed panel, it is glued to the outer frame. and the outer frame was not glued to the wood frame, it has a flange that is screwed all around with small screws every 3". I couldn't get the fixed panel out and ended up removing the whole frame. and that resulted to have a much smaller new window because I measured as you showed in the video. I am glad I ordered only one window to try. can you please tell me which way is better? remove the whole frame or you have a way to remove the fixed panel out of the frame? thanks

However I have those old aluminum windows in my house which I’m selling and I need to replace the center bar that you took out with the two screws. for some reason mine is missing my guess is because there was a window air conditioner in there. My question is do you have any clue where I could get just the center window part for a 36 inch window. Thanks for any help you can provide
If you can't find any screws, you have one of these situations. Remove the screen and look at the top and bottom of the center bar where the screen rests. The screws in the video were on the outside of the center bar but sometimes its on the sides. If you still can't find any screws, you have a situation where the fixed panel is glazed in place, meaning there is no metal frame around the glass. In that case, you will have rubber or plastic snap in stops on all 4 edges of the fixed glass, usually on the exterior. You have to pull those off and then go inside and use a utility knife to cut the glue holding the glass to the frame. Wear gloves and put a tarp outside in case the glass falls out.

Nice job for a well built alum wndw with screws and a sliding fixed glass panel, however dude, where are your gloves and safety glasses? Not a good example for the novice watching you. safety first.most of the ones we deal with are the cheap wndws that do not have the easy screws in the middle mullion. you need to do a video with those.
I wouldn’t remove your aluminum windows. I’d replace the glass inside the frame and spray paint them black. Vinyl windows are cheap. The multimillion dollar homes have metal window frames.

Suggest wearing gloves when handling glass panels.
Using suction cup applied handles are a safe option for lifting and removing the glass.
