Despite the fact that this entire game he's been constantly trying to do everything for everyone by himself (to the point that even the characters were finally starting to point it out), so he's just reaping what he sowed all things considered. Tbh, I'm glad the game made there be some sort of consequence to him constantly over extending himself.
Yeah. I've played the games since the beginning. I found Sora to be very carefree, too trusting, and too optimistic. But this game, while I am disappointed in it's lack of narrative compared to 1 and 2, did do the job of helping Sora mature.
Who re-watching these scenes after seeing the new cutscenes in ReMind and the subtle hint of the person the Nameless Star was referring to in the Secret Episode.
Not really, when we last saw the LS he was in the keyblade graveyard. So it’s not so weird that he showed up to save the day. Kairi also mentions that Namine has the right to be somebody and it’s not that weird that she got saved by Riku Replica.

I only just learned of that namine cutscene from this video..... I generally explore a lot in games, surprised I missed it. That shouldn't have been possible to miss.
The nameless star is Strelitzia for sure. She was supposed to be one of the Union leaders. When Sora asks her who's heart she is, she replies that they took everything about her away. As in she was stripped of her name, title, and position. The person she pines for is her brother Laurium (which was confirmed in the last KHUX update) aka Marluxia. She says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another, which is to say he was norted. When Sora asks her who killed her, she replies a somebody, as in a regular person, same as how Strelitzia was killed. Finally, when Sora asks for the name of the friend who will be waiting for her, she probably whispers Lauriam's name. Since it isn't the regular Marluxia name that Sora knows, he doesn't freak out immediately, but he still seems to recognize the name, which is why he reacts the way he does. Many other things align to prove it is Strelitzia, but I rest my case.
farhanpwns marluxia also thanks sora cause he is beginning to remember who he was after his defeat which hopefully means he will go to save strelitzia after he fully remembers/recovers.

When Namine was talking to Terra, she’s referring to a little scene the Japanese voice actors of them did for the Orchestra event. Not big, but still important.
*Nameless Star:* {whispers the name into Sora's ear} *Sora:* {surprised} Huh? *Nameless Star:* Our secret. *Larxene:* I was mostly just along for the ride. *Sora:* With? *Larxene:* ...My secret.
This is just a coincidence; Larxene is almost certainly referring to Marluxia (given that they knew each other from the past). Nameless Star is almost certainly the girl Isa and Lea were trying to rescue, aka "X'". Judging by the secret reports, she's most likely the missing master Ava.
I seriously hate how these scenes are missable. That second one with Namine especially explains why Lingering Will shows up when Sora returns to the graveyard. I was completely confused because I thought I missed some time travel nonsense while Sora was rescuing his friends.

Nameless star is Stella Nox Fleuret. But whether she will still have that name I can't be certain. Her heart is no one's anymore, her name was taken away, her existence--everything, only because it pines for another--Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, who turns out to be a totally different person. She can't be certain if someone will be coming to save her as "he's" been changed beyond recognition--his heart was replaced with another's. The Noctis in FFXV is not the same Noctis as the original, so the intended version of Noctis is now replaced with Yozora who looks different with slight resemblance. Once he were to regain his old self again, he would be distressed by her (Stella's) absence. Unlike Stella, Noctis wasn't erased--his personality was altered but that is still him, so the term "replaced" does fit. However, it's not the same for Stella's case, her appearance, persona, and name, did not exist at all--everything about her was taken away. When Sora faced Yozora, he said "if you're here, then this can't be the real world, can it? But wait, that girl, she told me about you. Maybe you are real after all." I'm sure the "girl" Sora was referring to is the Nameless star. Nomura is trying to send a message, and he's making an oath for the return of Noctis/now Yozora. Makes sense why this DLC is called "ReMind", he wants to bring us back to his Versus project and tell us that it is coming and I trust that it would be as good as it gonna get.
Lol in hindsight now when she said "they took away my name, everything about me", I couldn't help but picture it as actually Nomura directly talking about his baby Versus 13 and how SE and Tabata took it away from him xD It's like this whole game Nomura kept giving subtle little clapbacks
I think is the player. He/She will travel to the future. And Luxu with the previous Braig body will experiment with him/her. He will steal his/her heart and he will create Xenahort (Without X = No Heart, Another, the nameless star has no heart). So Xenahort will be like Roxas and he will have dreams of the player (Dark Road)

Tbh on one of the orchestras they did showed a canonical conversation between LW and Namine, where she told him that he would find Aqua sometime soon (reffering to the conversation that Terra and Aqua had during 0.2) so that connection was there...somehow
The dialogue in that part with Namine is slightly different in the Japanese version: Namine says " There is someone waiting for Roxas, but not for me..." and Sora says " That's not right! Me, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, the King, and even Roxas, I'm sure he wants to meet you. And the person who wants to meet you the most, will surely come to you".... And in the ending scene... the one who comes to Namine is.... Riku. Quite an unexpected but actually cute pairing! EDIT: My first translation of the Japanese dialogue was correct since there was no pronoun in Sora's line "Soshite ichiban aitai hito ga mukai ni iku yo ". But it can also translate as "The person you want to see most will come to you" and according to the Ultimania guide, it's this second version that is correct. So , Sora actually says :" That's not right! Me, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, the King, and even Roxas, I'm sure he wants to meet you. And the person you want to see most, will come to you " . This means Riku was the person Namine wanted to see ! :)
It makes so much sense actually I have been going through the kingdom hearts story and Riku has been very prominent while Sora is loyal as a friend Riku goes further. The Replica chose to keep his fake memories of Namine because having a life with her was preferable to his real life. It was Namine who convinced Riku to accept the darkness inside him he saw her as Kairi but knew it wasn't her. The Riku replica was always there inside Riku and that drove him to remain close with Namine, so he could one day make her an actual person like she made him.

The ending of 3 also parallels 358 1/2 days, in that one to wake Sora Riku has to basically be responsible for the destruction of Xion as an individual, in 3 he ends up destroying a part of himself to make Namine an individual.

@@Powerman77775 Why would it be the player? The player has no idea who Strelitizia is. Not to mention that the player's gender is decided by the person who plays with them so Strelitizia should've used "they" rather than "he" when referring to them. She used "he", so she's talking about Lauriam.
Also people who never played KHUX will be confused by the unnamed star cutscene. Even I started to figure it out after coming back to this scene. Basil, that could be Elrena too...since they did missions together possibly more than Strelitzia did with player. (both Lauriam and Elrena, I'm just assuming all 3 spent a lot of time together before Strelitzia got sent to the Final World)
Kingdom hearts 4 find the union leaders and reunite lauriam with streliza. Return ventuses memories revive daybreak town from the Keyblade graveyard. Sora and gang and union leaders vs the foretellers luxu and brain aka the true Keyblade war and then in walks the master of masters everyone stops fighting to reveal that he’s demyxs somebody or soras mom and summons xblade both sides team up to defeat the master of masters which in turn reverts the first Keyblade wars victims back to life the end

Larxene, when asked by Sora why she went along with Xehanort's plans if she hated the thought of being some meat puppet to him, she replies "...I was just along for the ride... " That makes me think that Larxene has been tagging along with Marluxia for a really long time now. Maybe she loves him, and felt obligated to join him, since she could help back him up in danger?

Don't get me wrong she still seems quite sadistic either way, but something tells me she isn't stupid enough to willingly give up her body for Xehanort, especially when she hates the idea of it so much, all for getting revenge against Sora. I mean I know Sora's the main character and all but not everything has to involve him, right? (I'm aware of the irony everything has to involve him hahaha) But she has her own thoughts and feelings, she clearly cares about other things or people with her own goals. Plus she has been around WAY longer than Sora has...

The Nameless Star is neither Xion nor Ava. Xion is voiced by Alyson Stoner and so is Kairi. Master Ava was voiced by Isabela Moner in Back Cover. Meanwhile, in the credits of KH 3, the voice actress for the Nameless Star is listed as Madison Davenport. Neither of these two share the same voice actress with the Nameless Star, so she can't be either of them. Wouldn't make sense for it to be Xion or Ava anyway. While the word "pine" has been used in a romantic way many times, it can be used in a familial way too. There are even dictionary examples that use it as a sense of someone pining for their family that they've been separated from. In Dictionary.com alone you see them use it in both a romantic and familial way.
These two stars were the closest ones to the portal, so it's kind of on you guys for missing them. Never hurts to, you know, take few minutes to look around.
Not only is it pretty obvious that it is Strelitzia talking about Lauriam we pretty much get confirmation when she says our secret and Larxene says my secret in her last scene. They were both about Lauriam/Marluxia. It couldn’t be a coincidence.
But Kairi was literally holding on to Sora so that he didn't pass on. Namine wouldn't have even be able to send the Lingering Will if Kairi wasn't doing that.
Geez the hate on Kairi I feel is a little unwarranted. Did I and many expect more, yes but I don't think she was overall that bad. She was doing pretty well, as a party member, she literally saved everyone by keeping Sora alive, but getting captured by Xemnas of all people put her down again in a lot of people's eyes. If it wasn't for that I don't think many would have that much beef.
@@KatsuImagitian I don't have so much of a problem that Kairi was the one who was keeping Sora there, but to make the claim that it was /only/ her will keeping him around was a little farfetched. Everyone there has a reason to hold onto the hope that Sora would return, he saved a lot of them, and reunited many of them again. You could replace Kairi with Goofy and it would still make narrative sense (you could replace her with anyone else and it'd still make narrative sense). I felt like Kairi got the short end of the personality stick, and as the "main love interest" I'd figured maybe she'd finally get to show off that she was more than just a plot device, and surprise.... she remained a plot device. Disappointing, really :c
@@Mousekins I saw it made sense to her because of her title as a Princess of Heart. It wouldn't be the first time she did a similar miracle work like when she brought Sora back from being heartless because she wished for it. She has an actual power unique to her for such circumstances and so it happened that way. It's kind of a deus ex machina but at least there's a point where it comes from. From anyone else it is just more friendship talk that now saves people from actually dying which is even more of a deus ex machina.

The Nameless Star whom I believe is Strelitzia, I really liked her and Sora’s interaction. It was adorable. I think if she could, she would’ve blushed when Sora said that she cheers him up. Shame they can’t meet now though until hopefully the next installment.
ok my thoughts on this are... The girl that is missing that Lea/Axel & Isa/Saix sneak into the castle to talk to is Skuld (look up who Skuld is in norse myth for more clues). Skuld is best friends with Ephemer and they along with Ventus, Lauriam/Marluxia, Larxene/Elrena all know each other from Union X all but Larxene/Elrena are leaders of the Union X. Strelitzia is Lauriam/Marluxia's sister who should have been another Union X leader was for want of a better word murdered by another (you can I believe talk to Strelitzia in the final world she is the star that talks that is not Namine). Anyhow, Ventus arrives 1st. he is followed by Skuld. Skuld arrives with Lauriam/marluxia, Elrena/Larxene, Demyx/, Luxord/ they may be looking for Ventus. As you know these 4 were added to the real organisation 13 because they had a secret from the keyblade war and were pulled aside and told that they would reveal their secret. These 4 came with Skuld and were separated maybe by Braig/Xigbar/Luxu take your pick at this point its the same person... as to where Skuld is now... I got no idea maybe returned to the unchained realm where imo they do not age kinda like the realm of darkness or maybe they came from Scala Ad Caelum... theres not a whole lot to go on because there are so many gaps in the plot still. however I got a feeling Skuld will be in any sequel trilogy that will eventually come.

Okay, I missed the Namine one. And these cutscenes don't appear to be in the theater menu either. Sigh... Pretty sure the other one is Strelitzia. At first I thought it was Xion, but that doesn't really make sense. Neither Roxas nor Lea had their hearts "replaced by another" (Roxas' heart was inside Sora's but Sora's heart didn't replace Roxas' so it couldn't be him, and Lea is totally fine), and they're really the only ones that she could've been talking about. But if the star is Strelitzia, it does make sense. Her brother, Lauriam (aka Marluxia), lost his memories, had a massive personality flip because of that and then was turned into a vessel of Xehanort. That fits both the "changed beyond recognition" and the "heart replaced by another" criteria. Additionally, she was killed by a "Somebody" (probably Blaine by the looks of things) as there did not appear to be any Nobodies around during the time period she lived in. And if the "Final World" is a place where the deceased who haven't completely let go are sent, it makes sense that she'd be there. Alternately, the other star could be the little girl that Lea and Isa befriended, and the friend she's talking about is Isa, who, like Lauriam, went through a major personality change and had Xehanort's heart planted inside him. The Somebody who killed her could possibly be Braig. Personally I think Strelitzia is more likely (and that the nameless star and the girl from the castle are not the same character) but it's still a possibility.
Changed beyond recognition, their heart replaced by another. I think she's talking about Luxu but she might have used his current name: Xigbar, since it seemed like Sora recognized the name. The foretellers barely recognized Xigbar and he's still part Xehanort. So she's probably Ava.
The way she speaks is nothing like Ava or Strelitzia, she has sort of a “proper speech” way of speaking. “Good day” “As are we all” “I cannot be certain” And then the way she says “you look like a person” it could meab he’s the only “human” looking being around, or….. maybe she says that because people where she’s from “look” different compared to Sora even though he resembles a person. Maybe in her reality everyone looks much more realistic.

I agree with you. All these Wild Mass Guesses. The ones who wildly guessed a character from a main title probably never played KHUX since it's a mobile/browser game and not a handheld or console title. Or they just aren't picking up on the story she's telling very well. I think it took me 2x of seeing this for me to get it IS her.

So everybody who followed the story updates of khux is predicting that the Nameless Star is Strelitzia waiting for her brother Lauriam, which is the Somebody of Marluxia but one thing bothers me: Why does Sora react all surprised when she whispers to him Lauriams name then? He should have never heard of Marluxias true identity before... i rly don't get it.

Just because he was there, doesn't mean he'd immediately know to come help. The Keyblade Graveyard is a big place, all of this was probably taking place a long way away from where he was resting.
These scenes are crucial to understand, they shouldn't have been missable by any means. I'm wondering how many people actually missed it because you had to talk to very specific stars to actually get these cutscenes to show up.
Just reading the comments makes me think that people either weren't thorough enough when it comes to interacting with the stars or just left after talking to some. I decided to look around when I noticed there were a lot of stars floating around after the first. I never heard of this scene or Namine's, but I was really curious what each star had to say. Got depressed when I figured out one of them was a child...
My roommate but this together and I confirmed it. The first "Nameless" star is Ava... the Foreteller. If you listen to her voice and the voice of Ava in cutscenes, they are the same. Luxu/Xigbar, who has Xehanort's heart in him as one of the 13th darknesses. Xigbar doesn't actually die after the fight with him in the Keyblade Graveyard, but rather Xehanort's heart is released from him. Then, Luxu, when he calls the foretellers through time in the ending, is distressed that Ava is not present. "Guess Ava didn't make it after all." When confronted if Luxu offed her, he states "As if! The voice actor for the namless star is actually different from Ava. You can see the voice actor of the nameless star in the credits. Ava is voiced by Isabela Moner while the nameless star is Madison Davenport.
the nameless star is not streltzia because in the credit part when we see sora again after all the aftermath its him walking up in an apartment in a skyscraper he walks to the door to see streltizia right there literally in front of him. in khfan90's vid titled road to redemption even shows sora & streltizia in it. sorry if i spell her name wrong.
There should have been a secret cutscene if you go back to the old mansion in twilight town and get past the gate Namine should come out and Sora should thank her.
The only thing that I find worse than these two scenes being optional, and easily miss-able, is the fact that if you play another playthrough to get them, you don't get them in Theater mode.
This can tease 3 people, which is quite a fun little test of lore. Ava,Strelizia ,Skuld. These 3 all have ways to connect to what this nameless star is saying. However some can be disproved when you look into the lore they give, and the answer your left with might just take you off guard. Also just want to point out " Pines for another, refers to love " Spoilers ahead - -------------------------------------> The case of Ava : Ava being a foreteller, had her Book of Prophecies & a Mission. To form the Dandelions which she did. However she also found out about luxu's mission. Then attacks Luxu and signals the start of the Keyblade War. Knowing this is important. I'd also like to say that she was the one who picked 4 of the new union leaders and the 5th being a impostor. After the Keyblade war is it was unknown what happened to the foretellers in till KH3. Now knowing that they are awakened and that ava did in fact complete her task which is why she isnt there as said by luxu. She will still play a part in the upcoming story as confirmed by the chessboard. but still unknown what happened to her exactly after the keyblade war. - stripped of her name, title, and position: Ava, a foreteller , keyblade master. - she pines for : Gula , however this can be disproved now. - she says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another. At the end of KH3 gula awakens. - she replies a somebody did this to her. Luxu --- The case of Strelizia : In union cross, she was killed off we did not know who did it intill the most recent union cross update. please look this up. and refer to the secret reports " Virus " also showing her show up as kinda data looking after image. This makes me feel like her heart was moved somewhere digitally. - stripped of her name, title, and position : Strelizia , union leader, keyblade master. - she pines for : her brother - which she wouldnt love in that sense. as in pine for. i think she was pining over the player. its kinda her whole character. if she pined for her brother thats incest. disney isnt about that. - she says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another : Marluxia - she replies a somebody did this to her : Brain and here is why. in the most recent Union Cross update he said he wanted to become a virus to change the worldline. in one of the secret reports luxu is talking about the virus refering to brain who is the one who killed stralizia. --- The case of Skuld: I think it would be best said as it being skuld. after knowing her story in KH:UC , she grew feelings for Ephemer clearly. and is kinda mysterious. I also think she has high chances of being the found girl with no name and who became a test subject to ansem the wise. name given to her was X which can refer to union cross. - stripped of her name, title, and position : Skuld , Union Leader , Keyblade master - she pines for : Ephemer - she says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another : Ephemer , we only see what looks like Ephemer will fighting in KH3 with sora. However he did not partake in the keyblade war so something must of happened in union cross with him. - she replies a somebody did this to her : Brain --- This can all tie in with how union cross is making its way into the future of the lore. I strongly believe this nameless star is Skuld all signs point to this being the most logic answer. she has no body or heart she is left a lingering will. cant wait to see what her story will unfold into. Also would like to add would be fun that ven talks with Chirithy about his other union leaders most likely discovering brain was the first to be passed the "Gazing Eye" and started with ven and friends. this in turn would explain why ven came to be in KH:bbs. dose anyone else find that Young Braig looks alot like Ephemer ? also luxu cycled his name in red for him to get a Book of Prophecies. I think Ephemer will end up being either luxu took him over and turned into braig or the master of master took ephemers body.
Keep in mind that the nameless star's dialogue is translated from Japanese. Translations can get a little wonky and some wording my end up sounding awkward or just not translating right. With that in mind, "pines for" may not be referring to a romantic attachment, it could be a translation error, meaning that Strelitzia's heart "pining" for her brother wouldn't necessarily be incest in this instance. I still think that Strelitzia is the most likely candidate.
I mean you could right about Skuld, but I find it odd you would say it's the most logical answer, when I feel that it being Strelitzia fits so much more, or at least equally, with all of the information we currently have available to us. "He's been changed beyond recognition - his heart replaced with another's" can very clearly and directly point to Marluxia of course being Norted, also clearly being a much different person than he was as Lauriam after becoming a Nobody and member of Organization 13 in general. There's also potentially the very subtle implication in the usage of the word "another" here, since as people have long since noted, Xehanort is an anagram of "another", with an X. "But were he to regain his old self again, he would be distressed by my absence". We've already seen how distressed Lauriam was by Strelitzia's absence, and again the wording here fits very well with Marluxia, since KHIII shows us that Sora killing him will allow him to become whole again, regain his "old", true self. Also, the Star notes that although she waits for him, he's changed so greatly, she is unsure if he will ever come for her. When Sora defeats Marluxia, he clearly begins to remember something deeply important to him, even thanking Sora. Indeed, it seems the Star was correct that his memories of her had become clouded, but now that they've returned to him, Marluxia/Lauriam can now seek his sister out. The Star also says 'No one's. They took away my name - everything about me". As you say, Brain is almost certainly the one who killed Strelitzia. Notably, when Strelitzia is struck down, note how her heart flies away, all that remains of her as Sora says, "pining for another". Pining for somebody does not have to mean you're "in" love with them romantically like a lot of people seem to think, but simply someone you care dearly for, and deeply wish to see again, which I think is a reasonable feeling for a brother and sister who appeared to care for each other quite a bit, at least Lauriam clearly did (it's also noteworthy that this may not be the best translation of that particular line, and the original Japanese worded it a bit better). But also, think about it, this person who killed her "took everything from them", including her name. So, this is beyond a simple murder, the person who killed her wanted to go even further and take everything about her away. Why? Brain killed Strelitzia to take her spot as one of the Union leaders. Doesn't it make sense then that Brain would want to go further and erase Strelitzia completely and take her place, remove her "name" entirely? This could very well be a part of becoming a "Virus" and "rewriting history", removing Strelitzia from history entirely, taking away her name and her identity, so he was always the one "meant" to be in her place, since she would never even exist in the first place. When Elrena enters the darkened building and sees a glitchy, virus-y (?) Strelitzia, this could very well be exactly that: remnants of Strelitzia's data, which Brain, as the "Virus" will wish to erase, destroying any and all traces of her. If this Star is indeed Strelitzia, we can say that Brain seemingly succeeded in erasing Strelitzia completely, sadly. However, like I said, when Strelitzia is initially struck down, her heart does leave her body and float off, seemingly to the Final World. Brain would not be aware of this, and believe he succeeded in erasing every part of Strelitzia, but her heart managed to escape and hang on through her longing for her brother to save her, which Sora reassures her here will occur eventually, and which he seems to help inadvertently fulfill when he defeats Marluxia, who more than likely, with his memories restored, will now seek her out. So there will ultimately be a happy ending, which feels appropriate since KH seems to like doling those out after a period of sufficient suffering. You're not necessarily wrong with what you're saying about Skuld and Ephemer, it's just a lot of speculation, whereas the idea of the Star being Strelitzia currently has a lot of backing and context clues to it and requires a lot less extrapolation. But I will completely eat my words if the updates end up leaning towards what you're thinking. We all know how much Nomura loves plot twists and red herrings, even when they're kinda dumb or unnecessary, lol.

there is at least 2 to 3 maybe 4 different individuals that are assumed thru assuptions & theories of the mysterious star's identity but the only way we'll all know who it is is if nomura bothers to reveal it in the game. would be nice if all those girls that are canadites for the mysterious star's identity could be found & their fates revealed. maybe nomura will be generous & bring the canidities along with good/light riku replica maybe dragging vanitas by the ear or belt back to reunite with everyone else.

Despite the fact that this entire game he's been constantly trying to do everything for everyone by himself (to the point that even the characters were finally starting to point it out), so he's just reaping what he sowed all things considered. Yeah. I've played the games since the beginning. I found Sora to be very carefree, too trusting, and too optimistic. But this game, while I am disappointed in it's lack of narrative compared to 1 and 2, did do the job of helping Sora mature.

The nameless star is Strelitzia for sure. She was supposed to be one of the Union leaders. When Sora asks her who's heart she is, she replies that they took everything about her away. As in she was stripped of her name, title, and position. The person she pines for is her brother Laurium (which was confirmed in the last KHUX update) aka Marluxia. She says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another, which is to say he was norted. When Sora asks her who killed her, she replies a somebody, as in a regular person, same as how Strelitzia was killed. Finally, when Sora asks for the name of the friend who will be waiting for her, she probably whispers Lauriam's name. Since it isn't the regular Marluxia name that Sora knows, he doesn't freak out immediately, but he still seems to recognize the name, which is why he reacts the way he does. Many other things align to prove it is Strelitzia, but I rest my case.

Nameless star is Stella Nox Fleuret. But whether she will still have that name I can't be certain. Her heart is no one's anymore, her name was taken away, her existence--everything, only because it pines for another--Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, who turns out to be a totally different person. She can't be certain if someone will be coming to save her as "he's" been changed beyond recognition--his heart was replaced with another's. The Noctis in FFXV is not the same Noctis as the original, so the intended version of Noctis is now replaced with Yozora who looks different with slight resemblance. Once he were to regain his old self again, he would be distressed by her (Stella's) absence. Unlike Stella, Noctis wasn't erased--his personality was altered but that is still him, so the term "replaced" does fit. However, it's not the same for Stella's case, her appearance, persona, and name, did not exist at all--everything about her was taken away.
When Sora faced Yozora, he said "if you're here, then this can't be the real world, can it? But wait, that girl, she told me about you. Maybe you are real after all." I'm sure the "girl" Sora was referring to is the Nameless star.
Nomura is trying to send a message, and he's making an oath for the return of Noctis/now Yozora. Makes sense why this DLC is called "ReMind", he wants to bring us back to his Versus project and tell us that it is coming and I trust that it would be as good as it gonna get.

The dialogue in that part with Namine is slightly different in the Japanese version:
Namine says " There is someone waiting for Roxas, but not for me..." and Sora says " That's not right! Me, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, the King, and even Roxas, I'm sure he wants to meet you. And the person who wants to meet you the most, will surely come to you".... And in the ending scene... the one who comes to Namine is.... Riku. Quite an unexpected but actually cute pairing!
EDIT: My first translation of the Japanese dialogue was correct since there was no pronoun in Sora's line "Soshite ichiban aitai hito ga mukai ni iku yo ". But it can also translate as "The person you want to see most will come to you" and according to the Ultimania guide, it's this second version that is correct. So , Sora actually says :" That's not right! Me, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, the King, and even Roxas, I'm sure he wants to meet you. And the person you want to see most, will come to you " . This means Riku was the person Namine wanted to see ! :)
It makes so much sense actually I have been going through the kingdom hearts story and Riku has been very prominent while Sora is loyal as a friend Riku goes further. The Replica chose to keep his fake memories of Namine because having a life with her was preferable to his real life. It was Namine who convinced Riku to accept the darkness inside him he saw her as Kairi but knew it wasn't her. The Riku replica was always there inside Riku and that drove him to remain close with Namine, so he could one day make her an actual person like she made him.
People often forget that even outside the events of CoM, Riku and Namine spent an entire year working together.

The ending of 3 also parallels 358 1/2 days, in that one to wake Sora Riku has to basically be responsible for the destruction of Xion as an individual, in 3 he ends up destroying a part of himself to make Namine an individual.
Trent Osborne and on top of everything, Riku Replica got a good ending too. He got to protect Namine, just like he wanted.

The Nameless Star is neither Xion nor Ava. Xion is voiced by Alyson Stoner and so is Kairi. Master Ava was voiced by Isabela Moner in Back Cover. Meanwhile, in the credits of KH 3, the voice actress for the Nameless Star is listed as Madison Davenport. Neither of these two share the same voice actress with the Nameless Star, so she can't be either of them. Wouldn't make sense for it to be Xion or Ava anyway.
While the word "pine" has been used in a romantic way many times, it can be used in a familial way too. There are even dictionary examples that use it as a sense of someone pining for their family that they've been separated from. In Dictionary.com alone you see them use it in both a romantic and familial way.

Not only is it pretty obvious that it is Strelitzia talking about Lauriam we pretty much get confirmation when she says our secret and Larxene says my secret in her last scene. They were both about Lauriam/Marluxia. It couldn’t be a coincidence.

But Kairi was literally holding on to Sora so that he didn't pass on. Namine wouldn't have even be able to send the Lingering Will if Kairi wasn't doing that.
Geez the hate on Kairi I feel is a little unwarranted. Did I and many expect more, yes but I don't think she was overall that bad. She was doing pretty well, as a party member, she literally saved everyone by keeping Sora alive, but getting captured by Xemnas of all people put her down again in a lot of people's eyes. If it wasn't for that I don't think many would have that much beef.
@@KatsuImagitian I don't have so much of a problem that Kairi was the one who was keeping Sora there, but to make the claim that it was /only/ her will keeping him around was a little farfetched. Everyone there has a reason to hold onto the hope that Sora would return, he saved a lot of them, and reunited many of them again. You could replace Kairi with Goofy and it would still make narrative sense (you could replace her with anyone else and it'd still make narrative sense).
I felt like Kairi got the short end of the personality stick, and as the "main love interest" I'd figured maybe she'd finally get to show off that she was more than just a plot device, and surprise.... she remained a plot device. Disappointing, really :c
@@Mousekins I saw it made sense to her because of her title as a Princess of Heart. It wouldn't be the first time she did a similar miracle work like when she brought Sora back from being heartless because she wished for it.
She has an actual power unique to her for such circumstances and so it happened that way. It's kind of a deus ex machina but at least there's a point where it comes from. From anyone else it is just more friendship talk that now saves people from actually dying which is even more of a deus ex machina.
@@KatsuImagitian I can definitely see that being a thing- I was wondering why they didn't play more on her being a princess of heart (even making her do a little more during the scene prior to their deaths, a shield, /anything/ other than just submitting would've done me fine). I still think it would've been nice to have had it been from everyone's wishes, strengthened by Kairi and funnelled into bringing Sora back- it would've been a nice touch c:

The Nameless Star whom I believe is Strelitzia, I really liked her and Sora’s interaction. It was adorable. I think if she could, she would’ve blushed when Sora said that she cheers him up.
Shame they can’t meet now though until hopefully the next installment.
ok my thoughts on this are...
The girl that is missing that Lea/Axel & Isa/Saix sneak into the castle to talk to is Skuld (look up who Skuld is in norse myth for more clues). Skuld is best friends with Ephemer and they along with Ventus, Lauriam/Marluxia, Larxene/Elrena all know each other from Union X all but Larxene/Elrena are leaders of the Union X. Strelitzia is Lauriam/Marluxia's sister who should have been another Union X leader was for want of a better word murdered by another (you can I believe talk to Strelitzia in the final world she is the star that talks that is not Namine).
Anyhow, Ventus arrives 1st. he is followed by Skuld. Skuld arrives with Lauriam/marluxia, Elrena/Larxene, Demyx/, Luxord/ they may be looking for Ventus. As you know these 4 were added to the real organisation 13 because they had a secret from the keyblade war and were pulled aside and told that they would reveal their secret. These 4 came with Skuld and were separated maybe by Braig/Xigbar/Luxu take your pick at this point its the same person... as to where Skuld is now... I got no idea maybe returned to the unchained realm where imo they do not age kinda like the realm of darkness or maybe they came from Scala Ad Caelum... theres not a whole lot to go on because there are so many gaps in the plot still. however I got a feeling Skuld will be in any sequel trilogy that will eventually come.

Okay, I missed the Namine one. And these cutscenes don't appear to be in the theater menu either. Sigh...
Pretty sure the other one is Strelitzia. At first I thought it was Xion, but that doesn't really make sense. Neither Roxas nor Lea had their hearts "replaced by another" (Roxas' heart was inside Sora's but Sora's heart didn't replace Roxas' so it couldn't be him, and Lea is totally fine), and they're really the only ones that she could've been talking about. But if the star is Strelitzia, it does make sense. Her brother, Lauriam (aka Marluxia), lost his memories, had a massive personality flip because of that and then was turned into a vessel of Xehanort. That fits both the "changed beyond recognition" and the "heart replaced by another" criteria. Additionally, she was killed by a "Somebody" (probably Blaine by the looks of things) as there did not appear to be any Nobodies around during the time period she lived in. And if the "Final World" is a place where the deceased who haven't completely let go are sent, it makes sense that she'd be there.
Alternately, the other star could be the little girl that Lea and Isa befriended, and the friend she's talking about is Isa, who, like Lauriam, went through a major personality change and had Xehanort's heart planted inside him. The Somebody who killed her could possibly be Braig. Personally I think Strelitzia is more likely (and that the nameless star and the girl from the castle are not the same character) but it's still a possibility.

I think she's talking about Luxu but she might have used his current name: Xigbar, since it seemed like Sora recognized the name.
The foretellers barely recognized Xigbar and he's still part Xehanort. So she's probably Ava.

I agree with you. All these Wild Mass Guesses. The ones who wildly guessed a character from a main title probably never played KHUX since it's a mobile/browser game and not a handheld or console title.
Or they just aren't picking up on the story she's telling very well. I think it took me 2x of seeing this for me to get it IS her.

So everybody who followed the story updates of khux is predicting that the Nameless Star is Strelitzia waiting for her brother Lauriam, which is the Somebody of Marluxia but one thing bothers me: Why does Sora react all surprised when she whispers to him Lauriams name then? He should have never heard of Marluxias true identity before... i rly don't get it.

Just because he was there, doesn't mean he'd immediately know to come help. The Keyblade Graveyard is a big place, all of this was probably taking place a long way away from where he was resting.

This Part I Played Was So Sad But I Was So Relieved When I Found Out That Kairi Was Alive And Saving Me From Dying
I had no idea about these stars, damn ._. Maybe there is a lot more in this game than I thought ._.
These scenes are crucial to understand, they shouldn't have been missable by any means. I'm wondering how many people actually missed it because you had to talk to very specific stars to actually get these cutscenes to show up.
Just reading the comments makes me think that people either weren't thorough enough when it comes to interacting with the stars or just left after talking to some. I decided to look around when I noticed there were a lot of stars floating around after the first. I never heard of this scene or Namine's, but I was really curious what each star had to say. Got depressed when I figured out one of them was a child...
I suspect the star is either the mystery girl lea and isa talk about or marluxias little sister from X

Also, this star states that the one longing for her is a somebody whose heart has been replaced by another. Luxu/Xigbar, who has Xehanort's heart in him as one of the 13th darknesses. Xigbar doesn't actually die after the fight with him in the Keyblade Graveyard, but rather Xehanort's heart is released from him. Then, Luxu, when he calls the foretellers through time in the ending, is distressed that Ava is not present. "Guess Ava didn't make it after all." When confronted if Luxu offed her, he states "As if! The voice actor for the namless star is actually different from Ava. You can see the voice actor of the nameless star in the credits.
Ava is voiced by Isabela Moner while the nameless star is Madison Davenport.
How has Sora STILL not thanked Namine??

the nameless star is not streltzia because in the credit part when we see sora again after all the aftermath its him walking up in an apartment in a skyscraper he walks to the door to see streltizia right there literally in front of him. in khfan90's vid titled road to redemption even shows sora & streltizia in it. sorry if i spell her name wrong.
There should have been a secret cutscene if you go back to the old mansion in twilight town and get past the gate Namine should come out and Sora should thank her.
The only thing that I find worse than these two scenes being optional, and easily miss-able, is the fact that if you play another playthrough to get them, you don't get them in Theater mode.
I love the other animations of Kingdom hearts.
This can tease 3 people, which is quite a fun little test of lore. Ava,Strelizia ,Skuld. These 3 all have ways to connect to what this nameless star is saying. However some can be disproved when you look into the lore they give, and the answer your left with might just take you off guard.

The case of Ava :
Ava being a foreteller, had her Book of Prophecies & a Mission. To form the Dandelions which she did. However she also found out about luxu's mission. Then attacks Luxu and signals the start of the Keyblade War. Knowing this is important. I'd also like to say that she was the one who picked 4 of the new union leaders and the 5th being a impostor. After the Keyblade war is it was unknown what happened to the foretellers in till KH3. Now knowing that they are awakened and that ava did in fact complete her task which is why she isnt there as said by luxu. She will still play a part in the upcoming story as confirmed by the chessboard. but still unknown what happened to her exactly after the keyblade war.

- she pines for : Gula , however this can be disproved now.
- she says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another. At the end of KH3 gula awakens.

In union cross, she was killed off we did not know who did it intill the most recent union cross update. please look this up. and refer to the secret reports " Virus " also showing her show up as kinda data looking after image. This makes me feel like her heart was moved somewhere digitally.

- she pines for : her brother - which she wouldnt love in that sense. as in pine for. i think she was pining over the player. its kinda her whole character. if she pined for her brother thats incest. disney isnt about that.
- she says that he has been changed beyond recognition and heart replaced with another : Marluxia
- she replies a somebody did this to her : Brain and here is why. in the most recent Union Cross update he said he wanted to become a virus to change the worldline. in one of the secret reports luxu is talking about the virus refering to brain who is the one who killed stralizia.

The case of Skuld:
I think it would be best said as it being skuld. after knowing her story in KH:UC , she grew feelings for Ephemer clearly. and is kinda mysterious. I also think she has high chances of being the found girl with no name and who became a test subject to ansem the wise. name given to her was X which can refer to union cross.

This can all tie in with how union cross is making its way into the future of the lore. I strongly believe this nameless star is Skuld all signs point to this being the most logic answer. she has no body or heart she is left a lingering will. cant wait to see what her story will unfold into. Ephemer would try to save her too.
Also would like to add would be fun that ven talks with Chirithy about his other union leaders most likely discovering brain was the first to be passed the "Gazing Eye" and started with ven and friends. this in turn would explain why ven came to be in KH:bbs.
dose anyone else find that Young Braig looks alot like Ephemer ? also luxu cycled his name in red for him to get a Book of Prophecies. I think Ephemer will end up being either luxu took him over and turned into braig or the master of master took ephemers body.
Keep in mind that the nameless star's dialogue is translated from Japanese. Translations can get a little wonky and some wording my end up sounding awkward or just not translating right. With that in mind, "pines for" may not be referring to a romantic attachment, it could be a translation error, meaning that Strelitzia's heart "pining" for her brother wouldn't necessarily be incest in this instance. I still think that Strelitzia is the most likely candidate.
I mean you could right about Skuld, but I find it odd you would say it's the most logical answer, when I feel that it being Strelitzia fits so much more, or at least equally, with all of the information we currently have available to us. "He's been changed beyond recognition - his heart replaced with another's" can very clearly and directly point to Marluxia of course being Norted, also clearly being a much different person than he was as Lauriam after becoming a Nobody and member of Organization 13 in general. There's also potentially the very subtle implication in the usage of the word "another" here, since as people have long since noted, Xehanort is an anagram of "another", with an X. "But were he to regain his old self again, he would be distressed by my absence". We've already seen how distressed Lauriam was by Strelitzia's absence, and again the wording here fits very well with Marluxia, since KHIII shows us that Sora killing him will allow him to become whole again, regain his "old", true self. Also, the Star notes that although she waits for him, he's changed so greatly, she is unsure if he will ever come for her. When Sora defeats Marluxia, he clearly begins to remember something deeply important to him, even thanking Sora. Indeed, it seems the Star was correct that his memories of her had become clouded, but now that they've returned to him, Marluxia/Lauriam can now seek his sister out.
The Star also says 'No one's. They took away my name - everything about me". As you say, Brain is almost certainly the one who killed Strelitzia. Notably, when Strelitzia is struck down, note how her heart flies away, all that remains of her as Sora says, "pining for another". Pining for somebody does not have to mean you're "in" love with them romantically like a lot of people seem to think, but simply someone you care dearly for, and deeply wish to see again, which I think is a reasonable feeling for a brother and sister who appeared to care for each other quite a bit, at least Lauriam clearly did (it's also noteworthy that this may not be the best translation of that particular line, and the original Japanese worded it a bit better). But also, think about it, this person who killed her "took everything from them", including her name. So, this is beyond a simple murder, the person who killed her wanted to go even further and take everything about her away. Why? Brain killed Strelitzia to take her spot as one of the Union leaders. Doesn't it make sense then that Brain would want to go further and erase Strelitzia completely and take her place, remove her "name" entirely? This could very well be a part of becoming a "Virus" and "rewriting history", removing Strelitzia from history entirely, taking away her name and her identity, so he was always the one "meant" to be in her place, since she would never even exist in the first place.
When Elrena enters the darkened building and sees a glitchy, virus-y (?) Strelitzia, this could very well be exactly that: remnants of Strelitzia's data, which Brain, as the "Virus" will wish to erase, destroying any and all traces of her. If this Star is indeed Strelitzia, we can say that Brain seemingly succeeded in erasing Strelitzia completely, sadly. However, like I said, when Strelitzia is initially struck down, her heart does leave her body and float off, seemingly to the Final World. Brain would not be aware of this, and believe he succeeded in erasing every part of Strelitzia, but her heart managed to escape and hang on through her longing for her brother to save her, which Sora reassures her here will occur eventually, and which he seems to help inadvertently fulfill when he defeats Marluxia, who more than likely, with his memories restored, will now seek her out. So there will ultimately be a happy ending, which feels appropriate since KH seems to like doling those out after a period of sufficient suffering. You're not necessarily wrong with what you're saying about Skuld and Ephemer, it's just a lot of speculation, whereas the idea of the Star being Strelitzia currently has a lot of backing and context clues to it and requires a lot less extrapolation. But I will completely eat my words if the updates end up leaning towards what you're thinking. We all know how much Nomura loves plot twists and red herrings, even when they're kinda dumb or unnecessary, lol.

I missed the Namine star as well. It's the only one I missed and I'm a little upset now.
there is at least 2 to 3 maybe 4 different individuals that are assumed thru assuptions & theories of the mysterious star's identity but the only way we'll all know who it is is if nomura bothers to reveal it in the game. would be nice if all those girls that are canadites for the mysterious star's identity could be found & their fates revealed. maybe nomura will be generous & bring the canidities along with good/light riku replica maybe dragging vanitas by the ear or belt back to reunite with everyone else.
