Haha weird, i was just researching 4WD'S as im sick of driving my fiesta to doofs or renting campervans and i cam across this. Ive been doing doofs for oevr a decade and i love it. Funny thing is my mate flew from brisbane (thats where im at) and played this doof i think. Also, your light idea is great, normally i go overboard with lighting to find my way back. Oh and small festivals are my favourite, next week im playing a small one :)

Been there during 2017/2020. Couldn't find anything as close as the bush party since then. The big clubs of Amsterdam and Berlin are great, of course, but i never had the same feeling of complete freedom. And the pills are way stronger back in Europe 😂
I had to stop doofing because I found out about the effect on wildlife. The bass freaks out birds who eject their babies from the nest in panic. I love dancing but that's not honouring the land, it's harming it. I realised I'd be respecting the land by dancing indoors where I don't affect any animals so that's what I do 💚

Wish we could all forever live life as if we're in our early 20's. Eventually I had to take on responsibility and think about a stable future in this unforgiving monotone society. More so now that I have a 3 year old son, with whom I'd do anything to make sure he has as many opportunities as possible on his way to adulthood.
I feel that, I have two daughters. Then I remember growing up as a kid, my Uncle Steve lived in a mud house with no doors, he has great bush knowledge from Indigenous people and agriculture and he'd take us out bush and show us a different way of thinking. I look back and think, "Geez, what happened"? This isn't life in 20's to me, this is the future. City life or career life just ties us down to possessions, which I spent my 20's chasing, living a life that was unfulfilling and miserable. The trappings leave people dissatisfied and depressed, medicated just to get through the day. Some people can live within that system without letting it affect them, but many cannot. Don't be afraid to show your kid how to live outside the box, there's more ways to get out and earn money than there ever has been.

Noticed the eye twitch, nothing serious I had the same thing! Turns out I was a little low on Magnesium, being on the road might be hard to get all the essential vitamins and minerals in. Simple multi vitamin should keep you sweet. Anyways loved the video keep it up!

I have been going to doofs for 20 + years and i loved them, was always in front of the speakers feeling that bass. In this time the internet was just discovered and growing. Doof partys in Australia were very rare to find and keeped more of a secret. The Internet and social media has destroyed this scene in my opinion, considering all these parties were small local parties that had a few international DJs now they exploited into big festivals even that these local small do were 3-4 day festivals. They weren’t as commercial as they are now and in my opinion, I find them quite fake now. I loved to dance in the mud even swimming in the mud listening to some good psytrance but you can’t do that anymore not unless you have law enforcement or others think they’re trying to have fun. Sorry but that’s my opinion on the same at the moment. My very first stuff was exodus 2003 years which was a 3-4 day in Tenterfrild, New South Wales and it was one of yhe last of few exodus festivals, due to change of scenery, overdose, that corrupted into violence, and then everything changed, and went downhill from there no more underground world of psytrance in Australia. Very sad 😢 It’s like the rest of the world. It’s now too overpopulated.

I 2nd this. Was caught up in the scene for 2 years, driving up to 6 hours regularly every weekend to go the various doofs scattered across Queensland. It's actually really hard to get out of it if it becomes your identity, you're well connected, and all your mates continue to go to every one they can find. I felt the closest to the friends I made at doofs compared to any other point in my life. To suddenly say 'this is enough' when all your mates still want to keep going, is one of the hardest things I've had to give up. Will still go twice a year, max though.
