That new Ginza platform was build with perfect symmetry and potentially with photographers in mind ( at least it looks so) and you captured so many cool frames from people in the train. Kohki last shot was probably my favourite! Also that coffee shop Camelback looks ace! Love these challenges :)
Yeah I've seen some cool shots of the platform since then - it was still partially under construction when we were there. There is some good coffee in tokyo!
Just finished 12/12 videos - gotta say man, this is about as close as you can get to travelling without any travel... esp during this covid period. Thoroughly enjoyed the series - super satisfying edits and great storytelling... feed us more hahah.

Jenny Daily I find Sony footage a bit challenging to colour grade tho. The shots of me that aren’t gopro is Sony footage from Kohki’s camera. It’s just not as vibrant as canon footage (super crisp tho)
itchban Haha yes I have. And exactly! If you’re looking to find out just how trippy that would be, I would suggest Bar Dece just down the road from there. I enjoyed a full night of cocktails at that spot before returning to Felice at around 6 AM. Trippy indeed

Nice location selection! I have a tendency of picking the basic easily-photogenic places like Odaiba and Minatomirai (Yokohama) to shoot vids/photos, I would’ve never thought of Shimbashi! You guys definitely made both places look so cool #ICY ❄️❄️❄️
I spent more time than I thought I would on my last trip in Shimbashi haha I also did an POV film photography vid there in the day I just realised.. Thanks for watching!
I miss Tokyo! Honestly one of the best places in the world for street photography! The conditions are always ideal even when it rains! I plan to go next year again for the Olympics thats my goal!
It gets even better when it rains! All the clear umbrellas come out and everything becomes more cinematic. Let's hope this covid bs goes away soon hey I'm going a bit crazy at home.

If your photo does not display the subject in a derogatory way, you're allowed to take it... the de facto operational procedures of street photographers and photo journalists generaly operates under the assumption that their work is of interest for the public and therefor exempt.
@@Itchban in japan you are not allowed to take people's direct photo in general. If the person suspects they have every right to report you. In japan, in general, media censors non-related people who appear in a photo or video clearly
itchban that is not the rule in Japan. Even the iPhones bought in Japan do not have the option of shutting the noise of shutter! Meaning you are not allowed to take pictures without people knowing! So maybe before you become all technical you should do more research
