    Hello Gendron, It's very important to know when you use CLEAN option on defrost override it will NOT get out of defrost automatically by itself. YOU HAVE TO GO BACK AND TAKE IT OUT OF DEFROST MANUALLY. (please remember that ).
    You are awesome man, thank you so so much for giving out all the Information and your experience to other techs out there!

      @Mohamedrheem6854 so when you use clean does it lock it into defrost indefinitely until you take it?

    • @mohamedrheem6854
      @mohamedrheem6854 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HVACRSurvival Yes sir, even if you reboot the E2 will NOT take it out of the clean mode!
      You have to end the clean mode manually.

    Thanks again for the great content. I have one convenience store with a mini hussmann protocol rack and an Emerson controller. The other racks I work on are old as hell so not super familiar w it. I’ve been able to navigate it well enough but definitely learned a lot.

    Can you do a video on what useful things you keep in van stock? Like fan blades, fuses, fittings, capacitors, ball valves, controls, etc?

    Clean mode could be if you had to clean/Deice the case or evaporator; I have 27 racks that I maintain six of them have the E2 controller all the others are Danfoss. never used the clean mode I will check.

    Not if you work for hussmann like this guy. The Einstein “e2” controllers are restrictive controllers at target and some stop and shops in New England . A lot of this video is pretty much common sense. Also in the video when you go into defrost settings and scroll some of these controllers are easier to use command codes . You can change whatever you want through the management company . This store he’s at uses fmock I believe which you can call and just about have them do whatever you want on the controller .

    Hey gendron could you make a video of how to add oil to a high pressure oil system rack using a vaccum pump? One video a while ago you mentioned if you don’t have a reasonable oil pressure you may have trouble pumping straight into the reservoir and pumping into the suction doesn’t allow for immediate feedback like the reservoir does. Thanks gendron!

    • @gendronhvac-r1269
      @gendronhvac-r1269  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So I can try,
      But I accept a new job with much less in the field work (thats why i can only release about once a month) So I might not be able to get to that.
      But you Isolate the oil reservoir.
      Use a recovery Machine To bring the pressure down.
      Then you hook The vacuum pump at the top of the reservoir.
      Pull the oil reservoir in a vacuum.
      Then feed a hose from the service valve on the bottom of the oil reservoir to your oil.
      leave the oil pump going. Now open the bottom service valve And it should suck the oil from your one gallon oil jug directly into the Reservoir.
      A lead technician showed it to once.
      He claimed it was much faster than pumping it Into the suction. But if I'm honest I didn't Really see the utility in it.
      Hope that helps !!

    Dear sir, I need to make set point changes to a circuit in a local market. I have the User name and password, but I don't know how to get to the log in screen, to enter the credentials. How do I navigate to the log in screen? Thank you.

    • @gendronhvac-r1269
      @gendronhvac-r1269  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So there actually should just be a button on the bottom right of the controller (it's red ) that says log in.
      You just click on that and Then the fields to fill in your credentials should pop up.
      Also, sometimes some establishments require that you call their monitoring company even if you have the credentials.
      Good luck!

    So we have a customer that purchased used Tyler equipment with an rx-300. We changed refrigerant and would like to adjust fan and compressor staging. I've tried to the Emerson route but they don't want to chat if you didn't buy it from them. Is there a generic low level user name and password that I can access those settings?

    How much do refrigeration techs make $30an hour?

    • @gendronhvac-r1269
      @gendronhvac-r1269  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends where you live and What level you are.
      In my neck of the woods and a Apprentice is probably like 20$ - 23$ per hour.
      A fully licensed journeyman. Can make around fifty five dollars an hour.
      And like a twenty year master depending on the company could be sixty an hour.
      And then if you're a Union guy you can sometimes make absolutel be insane. I've heard seventy five dollars an hour.
      Also it depends on your state so if you are in a blue collar dominant state Unfortunately your wages will be a little less. My state is a white collar state so there's nobody to do the blue collar work so blue Is color jobs pay extremely well Because of the demand.
      Anyway I hope that helps
