I use soothing gels as an alternative for hydrating toners
One of my favorite uses for soothing gels is placing it on mosquito bites. Soothing gel with aloe vera really helps the itch go away. I'll definitely try using it as a shaving gel soon! Thank you for the tips

Pero before I discovered proper skincare, guilty ako of using those *heavily* *fragranced* aloe soothing gels on their own. And dry skin pako.. 🙈 Then eventually used the leftover either as a serum step or for shaving. Then never bothered to repurchase na, hehe...😊💞

hi, Jan normal to oily skin ako pero ever since hindi talaga ako mapimple and lumaki akong safeguard lang ang gamit sa face 🤭 Life changing pala talaga kapag mag skin care na talaga. sobrang hands down ako sa reco mo na Cica gel from Luxxe organics as in parang magic sa skin ko hindi ko maexplain BASTA ✨✨ Nagtry din ako nung Aveeno moisturizing lotion okay din pero Cica variant parin talaga ✨ Now im using Cetaphil cleanser (hindi na safe guard hihi) dermorepublic serum, Cica soothing gel and belo dewy sunscreen. *Retinol sa night*

Good evening po. When to apply the soothing gels for skin prep? Before or after the sunscreen po?
Before sunscreen yan for sure. Since it's usually lighter. As mentioned sa video, you need to layer the sunscreen on top of the soothing gel to seal in the moisture :)

Hindi po replacement for primer ang soothing gel. :) It's something you would put before primer para hydrated yung skin mo.
Which is better po? Klued Mandelic acid 5% or Benzac 2.5% for acne treatment. Combination to sensitive skin ko po.
Benzac po mandelic acid is not for acne but for acne marks and spots

Is there a difference po ba between sa soothing gel lotion and soothing gel? I saw these two different products from Fresh Skinlab, and the soothing gel one has a higher price and lower volume (230mL) while the soothing gel lotion is cheaper and higher volume (300mL)
Yes may difference in texture (gel lotion vs gel) and the amount of niacinamide in it (3% vs. undisclosed small amount). Always check the ingredients and the label properly when in doubt. :)

Or much better if after na lang gamitin yung gel for both?
I think yung mga epilators and some IPL products have specific products na ilalagay before you use them, so yes probably much better if after na lang gumamit ng soothing gel. :) make sure to patch test first before using lalo na't sensitive area yan! Especially with soothing gels na may fragrance.

Hello po. Nagtry po ako ng Fresh Skinlab Jeju Aloe Soothing Gel with niacinamide at ginagamit ko siya sa face. Napansin ko lang po na may drying effect nga siya pag tagal. Do you recommend it po sa face or mas maganda po sa body na lang? May nababasa po kasi ako na hindi maganda yung alcohol at fragrance na nasa ingredient list ng soothing gel na ito.

The reason why nagddry siya is explained sa 1:15 - 3:50 and andun din yung solution. :)
Kahit gamitin mo yan sa face or sa body, it will still be drying if di mo gawin yung solution mentioned above. Kahit lumipat ka pa ng ibang soothing gel brands, lahat yan magddry if you don't properly seal in the hydration. Sayang lang pera, time, at effort mo samantalang pwede naman maavoid yung dryness by just following the tip given above.
Also, yung soothing gel lotion ni Fresh is drying alcohol-free. Matagal na nilang tinanggal yan. It does have fragrance, but like I've said before, if di naman namumula or nangangati skin mo from it, then there's nothing to worry about.
@@Ongiel Thank you so much po sa explanation. Subukan ko po yung tip niyo at gamitin siya under sunscreen. Sobrang helpful po ng mga video niyo sa skincare newbie like me. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na dapat pala may magseal na product kapag gagamit ng soothing gel. Akala ko po drying yung fresh aloe gel dahil sa alcohol pero wala naman na pala siya sa formula. At least ngayon magagamit ko na po ng tama yung mga soothing gel kasi akala ko po nung una enough na siya as moisturizer.
Hindi sakin effective 'yan, after ko mag apply kinabukasan may nagkaroon ako ng tigyawat. I stopped then nag apply ulit ako in different months same result nagkatigyawat talaga ako.
When I use aloe vera soothing gel, my eczema around my mouth and nose was triggered by that. I don't know why.
Hindi kasi talaga match ang soothing gels for eczema-prone skin! Aside from kulang yung nourishment that it gives to eczema-prone skin, it can easily evaporate and make it drier. Plus marami pang soothing gels ang may fragrance which is more of a concern pag may eczema ka.
Even with my mom + my friends who struggle with eczema, usually talaga thicker creams & lotions ang binibigay ng derms nila to nourish & soothe their skin. Mas yun talaga kapag eczema. 👍
Nagtataka ako bakit kapag gumagamit ako ng Aloe Gel sa face, lalong visible ang pores ko.
Pls watch my video po on minimizing pore appearance. Aloe gels are just hydrators. Wala silang masyadong kinalaman or impact sa pore size. :)

Ok lang ba i used soothing gel several times daily, nasa ref lang kasi cya malamig masarap sa pakiramdam mag lagay lalo na kung mainit panahon, nag lalagay ako atleast 5 time's daily, ok lang kaya
