@@Jonathan-gy5hk I'm not really sure Po kung ung shedding is from the finasteride or Minoxidil na inaapply ko kasi Sabi ng Derma ko mag shedding Ang hair mo when you start using Minoxidil, and super nag dry ung scalp ko kaya naging once a day nalang pag gamit ko.

Sana nalaman ko agad to noon, sobrang laking tulong nitong information sa mga bagong generation na possible magka hairloss. unfortunately transplant nalang makakapag pa balik ng hairline ko, but it can block further loss sa top ng hair ko.
Nag try ako ng Minoxidil and so far di naman sya nakaka irritate sa scalp ko 😁, ung finasteride ang gusto ko gamitin hahah kaso like said in the video na dapat may prescription. Thank you sa insights ❤❤❤

This is very informative! Susubukan ko muna yung red onion at black coffee remedy since madami din nagpatunay na effective. Lifetime commitment kasi tong si minox. But if di gumana minox is the last option 😅

Thank you so much for this educational video. This has given me hope with my receding hairline. I'm afraid to try Finasteride because of the side effects but I'll reconsider after watching this. By the way, what are your thoughts on microneedling? Have you tried it?
I personally tried Finasteride, mga 2nd day ko pa lang medyo scary ung side effect hehe Sayang I bought for 15 pa naman medyo pricey rin.
I experienced the same but different spot of my hair. I am using minoxidil for the past years but so I regularly. This year i am using it regularly for 2 months now. It is also first time i heard about the oral medicine fenasteride. I will try to visit dermatologist to check about it. Thank you it is so helpful

I purchased hair treatment pills in the U.S and found out about the decreased libido side effect before I consumed it, so I didn't end up taking it. lol I was super scared and didn't want that to happen to me ahaha I'm still kind of scared, but makes me feel better that it didn't affect you.

Thank God that I don't have a high hairline. I'm on my journey in making my hair long. Mostly of the product that works for me, biotin shampoo. For my eyebrows, I use minoxodil.

Finally! I have been waiting for a local vlogger whom i can relate to. Although i have to admit i may need a second or third opinion from a different doctor as the dermatologist i went to the last told me bluntly that it’s a hopeless case for me and then pitched me to formulate a minoxidil and finasteride combo topical for 3500 php?! 😱 lalo ako nanlumo to have heard the price..hahaha

You're not alone. This hits me really hard. As someone who suffered from male pattern baldness, I took the issue for granted. When I noticed it first, I thought I was okay since both my father and brother are already bald, but dang, when people mocked and bullied me dun na ako nahirapan nasabihan na kapatid ko ba daw sila Prince Willian at Harris, papa ko ba daw Pope at wag daw kc mag papasubunot sa ulo at anu anu pa lahat tiniis ko everyday I wore cap to hide my head so people be kind! Just this year got courage to consult a dermatologist and starting my treatment. Thank you for sharing your journey, Jan Angelo.
Ako nga sinasabihang dyango bustamante, tito boy abunda, bentong. Minsan, aasarin pa ako may paliparan daw ako baka puwedeng maglanding d2 sa noo ko, matipid sa shampoo pero maaksaya sa facial wash, at masyado mababa ung kilay ko. Sobrang sakit akala kasi nila simpleng condition lang yung pinagdadaanan natin. Ako naman ayoko magcap dahil naiinitan ako napapawisan ang ulo ko basang basa.

Hi Jan, hope you consider this when you interview a derma for your YT channel. Will finasteride affect the kidney? This is an oral medication and it will ofcourse go through our digestive system. Concerned on how this will affect other body organs esp the kidneys
I started to notice my hair receding in my mid 30's from then i did some things to address it. First, i changed shampoo (Grafen), it significantly reduced my hair loss though it didn't happen overnight. It took about 4 weeks to really say it has a good effect on me. Second, i learned that too much stress made a big impact on my hair loss. So i decided to minimize my stress by reducing workload and taking things easy or one at a time. I haven't tried any medications yet as i am afraid of many side effects so for now I'll observe if these things will solve it. Nice video though very informative!

been taking finasteride for 5months (89pesos per tablet sa mercury), minoxidil yung regrow brand(5% 1100 pesos, 6% 1600) medyo mahal talaga. Kaya para makatipid i take half ng finasteride daily, yung regrow brand na minox sa gabi lang, then other cheap brand na minoxidil sa morning. as for the side effects, awa ng dyos tumitigas pa naman. Thank you for this vlog, a big help talaga at alam ko na I'm on the right track in treating my hair loss. Nag try din ako ng collagen+biotin kaya lang dumami acne ko, kaya di ko na tinuloy.

Ask ko lng po every when po hihingi ng prescription sa dr since it will incur additional expenses? One time lng po b then pede mo n gamitin un everytimd ubos n ung finasteride or if ubos need mo n magseek ng another prescription?
Currently using Serioxyl. So far na notice ko nagkaka volume talaga hair ko. May tumutubo baby hair which I noticed after 10 weeks. Nakakafrustrate din first few weeks kasi feel ko walang effect. But i think the result is not really comparable to minoxidil + finasteride or hair transplant. I'll consider those meds or procedures if na feel ko grabe ba yung hair fall.

Happy to have given hope ❤ by the time I was taking finasteride, tapos na ako with isotret eh. But I think derms may allow kasi I was looking to do isotret end of last year and wala naman winarn sakin derm ko na bawal sabay. Di nga lang napush isotret kasi my acne suddenly got better on just topical bp + tret haha. Would only worry if planning to conceive. :) But definitely continue to discuss w/ ur derm!

What brand ng Fisteride po gamit nyo?
Minoxidil is good kung maaagapan kaagad ung early signs of recession.. Been using minoxidil for 7 years, since napansin ko ung temple region receded quickly due to stress sa job. Un nga lang hindi ko na naibalik ung original hairline. 1 bottle is enough for 2 yeàrs sa akin para pang maintainance.
nagtry ko ng minoxidil at kung ano2x wla din masyado effect, nagtry din ako ng microneedling at prp so far may tumutubo naman. nagpacheckup ako to take finsasteride and plan ko isabay sa microneedling and prp. wait ko after 3 months ano effect.
Finasteride user her for like 7 years now. I also had 2 implants. So far it is going great

@@HitchcockNScully hmm good question on the brand. The pharmacy just sends it to me every three months so I will check it. When I was still in the Philippines, I used the generic version.
