4:01 I tried to survive this as MCH item level 622. 3 times it didn't work. and then i searched on youtube for solo run. found this one, swapped the job to WAR il590 and done it in first try. so this beam dmg needs a Tank dmg reducing ablility or massive selfhealing to survive it. thx for uploading
If you don't have a tank spec, it seems you can get the magical protection if you are close to the boss when he gives the buff, you will be on a race to kill him tho but you will survive the laser

I just did this with a 640 MCH
Took a few shots but I got it
I cheated by standing at the very edge of the platform during his giant phase

you should try playing PLD or WAR at lvl. 90
@@fireflyfrv654If you use Red Mage or Reaper you can do so much damage that he barely has time to do any wipe attacks.
