Painless, I have had 2 failed cc3d atoms installs, probably because I did not fully wait for the windows drivers to be installed, apparently (not confirmed this myself) you have to wait for the driver install process for EACH cc3d device that you will configure (normally you install a window driver and it works for additional devices of the same type). In fact the tip I received was to NOT start the OpenPilot software until the driver had installed and you can see it listed under "Device Manager" in windows .. you should see "CopterControl" listed under "Ports (COM & LPT)" .... not doing it this way, can result in a "bricked" CC3D

I need some help.... I connected my cc3d to my computer but it wont pick it up at all. The lights still turn on and flash, but its not installing any drivers. I followed all the steps in the tutorial many times, but it doesn't seem to work.

can i bind tx and rx using the cc3d throttle and power servo cable to power the rx while using the jumper cable?, i got confused when you started mentioning squashed and mixed for a helicopter... also you selected 50hz as opposed to fast 490 hz i have no idea why or how to pursue finding out why, ....all the other tutorials the people pick 490hz but nobody seems to know whyi have opto mini bheli 16a esc's but right now i'm trying to test a frankenstein set up using the stock jjrc x1 quads own esc's and a cc3d, so i'm basically blind as to what kind of esc's the x1 quad has and i have to guess 50hz or 490hz... any suggestions? background to all this is the jjrc x1 brushless quad has some yaw lag issues, i'm hoping simply replacing the fc and receiver with the cc3d will work with x1's esc's,
Painless: I already finish the configuration, noticed and have questions. I have the spektrum DX 7S . The only way that I could comply with the flight mode switch was to activate the three position flap switch, now I have 3 levels, but what level 1 means and 2 etc...? Also I notice that my gear switch is appearing on channel 6 like "full" deployed when it is in the "0" position what this means and how it could affect the performance. BTW, great job you did with this videos, my respects.

Painless360 All setup!!! but! very low altitude im getting as if not getting full throttle... during vehicle setup where it says to plug in the power so that CC3d sends the throttle range my esc's never beep, even after waiting 10 minutes so i just clicked stop and continued.... is this caused by all my red power leads from each esc still connected? i have no idea what this banggood set came with as for esc, all i know is that they are 12amp SimonK. turbo etc or standard or not i have no idea... if i choose rapid esc and do that part the motors spin at full throttle uncontrollably during that part of setup so i doubt they are rapid or turbo. also posted this in discussion but more appropriete here i believe for those having same issue (which is ESC not beeping when cc3d tries to calibrate them)

Hi Painless ,thanks for your quick reply as to my problem,I I have the connections set to PWM for multiple connections to esc and motors as the RX doesnt support sbus and cppm ,its an old RX iam using ,but can you explain to me ! when you say check that the other connections for the other channels are working ok ? like I said the motors are spinning up in the software and the escs look like everythig else is working ! except the throttle channel isnt being seen by the software ? in the TX? iam missing something here I think is simple ,sorry iam not seeing it , but it is 4.95 am here in Australia :(maybe Ill look at it later today when I have some sleep ,$^@# quads .
+Paul McMahon You'll be missing something (unless the Rx or CC3D is not working). I'd check you can see the throttle channel moving on the radio and then the Rx then check the cable you are using to connect it to the CC3D isn't damaged.. Best of luck!
Hey again, I did drone calibration and in the flight data menu i could see my gyro works perfectly but after transmitter calibration gyro in the flight data menu stopped showing any signs of working, maybe i pressed wrong button somewhere, please help me.

I am getting ready to mount my CC3D board on my Zmr250. Do you think the CC3D Flight controller is more stable mounted on stand offs or some kind of anti vibration foam?

As always, top notch videos! I'd picked up a used FPV 250 quad, that is very similar to the quad in your video, at a swap meet, but the quad had GPS and a lot more complicated stuff on it than I could handle (this is my first 'real' quad, having only flown the little Inductrix quad up until now). A friend of mine coached me to replace the current controller with CC3D. You video has definitely broken the quad code for me and I now know what to do to get this quad flying.
hy when i reached to upgrade i puched the upgrade button its says timed out while waiting for a board to be connected you will have to manually upgrade the board using the uploader plugin

I'm Having a problem and I've searched extensively without luck. It seems other people are having this problem as well. I have configured a fifth channel on my taranis for flight mode, but open pilot never recognizes it. I have tried several dozen times with various firmware, EEPROM, switches on my taranus, transmitters, and PWM/CPPM settings with no luck. Can you please advise. The channels monitor is reading correctly showing the three position switch (depending on which attempt) and registering three positions. This last switch is the only thing keeping me from getting my build off the ground so you can imagine how eager I am to get this resolved. chinese QAV 250, CC3D, frsky X8R or Frsky D4R 11, Taranus plus X9D Thank You in advance.
MrTomcreativ I am facing the same problem. Built my 250 quad and using a FS T6 transmitter. My receiver and transmitter are bound and configured the CCD3 as per the instructions. I am just NOT able to make my FS receiver talk to my Quad...
@Painless360: While running the "Transmitter Setup Wizard" I got stuck at the step where it asked me "Please toggle the Flight Mode Switch". Here I am not getting response as I am toggling the switch. I am using the FlySky FS-TH9X. I restarted the Transmitter Setup Wizard but doing nothing. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
+TrueThinking This normally means that the program isn't 'seeing' the movement of the channel. Check that the channel value moves on the monitor screen on the radio. Check the output on the Rx is ok (I plug a spare servo into it and make sure it moves). Check that the cable is plugged into the right port on the receiver and then move the switch more slowly when trying the calibration. Best of luck!
Hi, I have just downloaded openpilotGCS 15.02.02 (the last release compatible with CC3D according to the website) onto my win7 machine but it will not run. It gets as far as Loading Core Plugin then I get a message that openpilotGCS.exe has stopped working. Problem event name is reported as Appcrash and the fault module name is QT5Core.dll. I haven't seen anyone else here with the same problem and Google comes up with issues with openGL but I'm really stuck. Any ideas?
Painless,I have the Hobby King 30A ESC 3A UBEC. It says in the user manual it has a UBEC/SBEC. an I plug all the wires in like a linear or is there a different way?I'm building at the moment and am confused as to what to do.Any answer would be appreciated. Regards J

Hi Painless I have built 250 using your setup for Naze32 and runs sweet, but I have just built another 250 using CC3d thought I would try both, I put generic setting on mine using Openpilot, I am finding it is oscillating a fair bit on roll when flying it, both are Banggoood one similar to yours RC250 frames. what would be the best PID setting for it, have you got screen shot of yours please.

+SuperGoofa I've had a video in the works for 6 months now on this very topics and have not been able to complete it as when the self level mode is turned on the wing I have it on becomes very unresponsive (but level!). Until I figure that out I can't get a flight video and add that tip.. I keep trying when I get a chance to fly and test..
All I can say is FANTASTIC set of video's, I did the build along with the mini 250 and it flies great, I went with the picture on the model set-up , but getting a small amount of isolation and backward drift, and not sure of what to adjust in the programing. I also put the cc3d on my 450 X quad and having the same problems, but I have changed some of the numbers an checked the results afterwards, but still having isolation issues any suggestions ?

+Tarkan Fescioglu sounds like the ESCs you're using are not supplying the flight controller with the 5v it needs. You may need tot add a separate 5v BEC. See the quadcopter building for beginners series. Best of luck

Hello Painless360, I was able to setup my CC3D. Everything seems to work fine while connected to the computer, but when I disconnect from the computer, the quad will not arm. I don't know why it would not arm. I don't know if you have a solution for this or if you have a video about arming issues.
hey buddie..i got a QAV250 with the same cc3d which was factory set up, well surpossed to be.. i took it out just kept flipping so i got it connected to librepiolet and did the setup wizard followed all steps upto transmitter wizard.. im using librepiolet as its the newest software but exactly the same as open.. im using a flysky FS-T6 but it will not connect... any ideas how to solve this.. also now it wont even bind with my controller???? many thanks...

I have a Dx6I tx and a x900 Tri copter which I have build ,iam using open pilot version 15.02.2 ,with a h king orange RX DSM2 I followed your video side by side on a windows p c ,every thing was going really well up until I got to the Tx set up in open pilot ! everything before that was going well ,motors spinning right ever thing on screen ,when I got to the part in the wizard set up[ were it says to move your sticks ,throttle up and down and follow the on screen instructions ,then press next ? I was waiting for the (next ) to show up on screen so as I could go on to the next section of the wizard !but it didn,t show up the word next ? the Tx isnt responding to the on screen instructions ? I still had the usb connected and the battery too? so iam wondering If you would have any thoughts on this thanks ? I have build a few tris with the K K 2 F C boards ,which was all good , But I read so much good things about this CC3D board I had to try it,I did have a kk 2 board on this tri ,but disconnected it and iam sure that open Pilot erased the kk 2 firm ware !any help on this would be great ,I have watched a lot of your videos from the start of my venture into quads and I have found them in valuable ,in fact I dont think I could have build any of the Tris with out your videos ,I been doing R C for a number of years now mostly Planes but quads has got me in :)can be a head ach thou ,any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance.
+Paul McMahon I'd double check that the connections for the other channels are working ok and make sure that you have the right connection set in the wizard too (PWM, s-bus or PPM). Best of luck!
You need to have it bound to test but I would rebind when you have used the sub trims on the radio to get the channel values as close to 1500 ( when in the middle) as possible.
+Cam plays should be, id always look for receivers that support PPM for a CC3D. If you've not already bought the cc3d there are better choices now.. best of luck!
Painless ; I follow all the procedures and the quad took off and responds correctly to the commands but is "wobbling" like is trying to correct the stabilization all the time, there is any fine tuning adjustment that have to be done and where? Please advice. Thank you so far, so good.
After a hard landing, fixed wing, I have crossed signals. When I advance the throttle, the rudder deflects full left (rudder on single servo aileron setup channel1). I redid the setup three times, even did some channel switching, but the throttle affects sometime servo 1 and sometimes both servo 1 and 2 depending on assignment. Everything worked fine initially, until the hard landing. Searched the internet, and couldn't find anyone talking about this. Thanks. Bill
I'm having trouble calibrating my ESCs. First off, one of my ESCs gets warm as soon as the battery is plugged in. Then, after calibration, that ESC and the one opposite from it start beeping while their motors twitch. Is there something wrong with my ESCs, or am I doing something wrong?
I would check the motor connections on those ESCs and swap the motors with another that is ok to see if the problem stays with the ESC or the motor.. Best of luck.
if you could help on the setup of the rotation on the board The arrow on the board is point from the usb forward I have set the Revo with the usb to the left So if you were looking at a clock face the arrow is now pointing to the number 3 In the configuration tab, Do I set the yar to minus 45?
I'd guess -90 YAW adjustment. Try and it then check the movement compared with the graphic in the GUI. You can easily change it until you get the right setting, sometimes it's a little trial and error.. ;)
I'm using a dx5e transmitter with receiver. My transmitter is binded and configured through open pilot but after that I get nothing, the quad wont fly I'm getting feedback from cpu like you explained in video but after your last step before you put on props that's where I'm stuck
I am having trouble with a CC3D Atom that with windows 10 first showed telemetry feedback in OprnPilot and after flashing software it's NOT recognizing any link to the control board now >< frustrated. Any ideas P360? It also shows that it is ready for telemetry and I have now idea where to get telemetry.
Hello there just got my first qav250.. got thru all the cc3d set up and clicked save. When I go to give it power it does nothing. Went into flight controller setting and it does not move with motion , also attitude and stab are red boxes . It looked so easy on video. Why is mine not showing up. In boxes in flight controller I get "attitude" error. input box is Orange, and stab box is red. Can you help me please? It seems like something isn't reading the models stabilization or attitude???
Hey I could use your help. So I got through some of the transmitter set up, the libre software recognized all 4 channels when I moved the sticks. I was able to get upto 16:34 successfully. But after that, when I move the sticks, they don't seem to be moving on my computer screen in the software. I'm sure my connections are correct. Downloaded the latest Libre software version as well. Any ideas?
Hello, I have a CC3D board on my quadcopter, but someone told me that i need a seperate gyroscope (and maybe an accelerometer). I thought that the CC3D wouldn't need a seperate gyro, because you can set this in OpenPilot. Am I right, or do i need a seperate gyro and accelerometer?
Hey when u connect throttle with your rx in the video which channel did u use I mean earlier i used to fly rc plane and for me throttle is channel 3 that is the main engine but here which channel did u used for connceting throttle pin of cc3d with rx
With all the leads plugged into the receiver is there a spare one or not? And my transmitter has a F mode switch so will the AUX 1 slot be free for a buzzer?

Having problems to calibrate the ESC's I tested them without the blades and one of the motors stop when you give the turn command and the other motor stop when you give the opposite etc. could you expand the ESC calibration ?
+Hector Castro This is expected at low throttle, make sure you've followed the ESC calibration in the video exactly and that should be ok. Have a careful test hover over soft grass to confirm it's all happy. Best of luck.

Painless; Sorry but no, the black wire is not shown on the diagram and should not be ground because is in the signal position also, but it is a remain connector that is not shown on the diagram and I would like to know for what it is, if you know. Painless; On the receiver plug connections I disconnect the black wire that is the remain of the normal connections and it is connected to the "Gear" , I disconnect this wire and add connect the finding buzzer there and it is working fine from the transmitter portion but I am wondering if it will cause any problem on the maneuver of the quad, I flew it for a short time and did not noticed any difference, I would like your opinion in this aspect.
Hello in your video you say if you have linear esc my are and are flashed with biheil.one shot 125. you can just plug them all the wires in and don't have to take out the red wire ( +) is this true?

Here's a question for you all: After setting up the CC3D succesfully, how can I go back and select tuning parameters from the "Initial Tuning" list? So I chose "Default settings" for the PID tuning during setup but now I'd like to try the 250 Quad settings but without affecting any of the other setup procedures, is this possible? Cheers to all!
When I calibrated my radio with the program, it showed that my pitch and roll stick was offset. For example, when I put the right stick in the top left corner, the librepilot would read that its at the top center position or wen I pushed the stick to the top right corner, it read that it was pointing directly right. How do I fix this?
The calibration routine normally fixes this. I'd run through this again. Failing that simply reverse the channels that are wrong on the radio. Best of luck!

hello 360 i have problem with my motor they are getting to hot when i plug the battery in 40 sec it gives me a loud beep and the 4 motor get hot . i have micro esc 20a they have 2 wire ( signal and ground)
+tiger exhaust That isn't right. I'd check the wiring and that the ESCs can handle the battery you are using (3s 4s etc). If you need more help book a one to one session (not free though) through the website..Best of luck.
this video was made awhile ago. open pilot no longer exists. the cc3d I just received is not reading in librepilot. it's saying a board is not connected. or "waiting for board to fully connect" is this fc obsolete or can I still flash it as of january 2018?? thanks for your videos..👍👍👍
Check out the manual - they usually tell you there. If it's a computer radio then you can normally access a screen that shows you the position of the channels (usually called a monitor screen). The order of the channels on that usually match the numbers on the receiver (first is No. 1 etc). Best of luck!
i was planning on using an FrSky 2.4GHz ACCST TARANIS X9D PLUS and X8R Combo Digital Telemetry Radio System (Mode 2)......would be good choice to use.And would it be a good receiver??If not than please send a link to a good radio transmitter with reciever
To use CPPM would you just only use the throttle wire and cut the rest off? Or is there a whole different connector? If so does is come with the kit or would it need to be purchased separately
Painless; The direct question will be for what function or operation is the black wire included in the receiver harness and it is not mention on the connection diagram? Thanks
+Hector Castro The black wire is normally the ground and needed for the Rx to be powered and act as a reference for the signal voltages. It is shown in the diagram - see 5:35 in the video. You only need one connection to the GND though as this is usually common across all the receiver outputs. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Painless ,thanks for your quick reply as to my problem,I I have the connections set to PWM for multiple connections to esc and motors as the RX doesnt support sbus and cppm ,its an old RX iam using ,but can you explain to me ! when you say check that the other connections for the other channels are working ok ? like I said the motors are spinning up in the software and the escs look like everythig else is working ! except the throttle channel isnt being seen by the software ? in the TX? iam missing something here I think is simple ,sorry iam not seeing it , but it is 4.95 am here in Australia :(maybe Ill look at it later today when I have some sleep ,$^@# quads .
+Paul McMahon You'll be missing something (unless the Rx or CC3D is not working). I'd check you can see the throttle channel moving on the radio and then the Rx then check the cable you are using to connect it to the CC3D isn't damaged.. Best of luck!

Hey again, I did drone calibration and in the flight data menu i could see my gyro works perfectly but after transmitter calibration gyro in the flight data menu stopped showing any signs of working, maybe i pressed wrong button somewhere, please help me.

I am getting ready to mount my CC3D board on my Zmr250. Do you think the CC3D Flight controller is more stable mounted on stand offs or some kind of anti vibration foam?

As always, top notch videos! I'd picked up a used FPV 250 quad, that is very similar to the quad in your video, at a swap meet, but the quad had GPS and a lot more complicated stuff on it than I could handle (this is my first 'real' quad, having only flown the little Inductrix quad up until now). A friend of mine coached me to replace the current controller with CC3D. You video has definitely broken the quad code for me and I now know what to do to get this quad flying.

I'm Having a problem and I've searched extensively without luck. It seems other people are having this problem as well. I have configured a fifth channel on my taranis for flight mode, but open pilot never recognizes it. I have tried several dozen times with various firmware, EEPROM, switches on my taranus, transmitters, and PWM/CPPM settings with no luck. Can you please advise. The channels monitor is reading correctly showing the three position switch (depending on which attempt) and registering three positions. This last switch is the only thing keeping me from getting my build off the ground so you can imagine how eager I am to get this resolved.

@Painless360: While running the "Transmitter Setup Wizard" I got stuck at the step where it asked me "Please toggle the Flight Mode Switch". Here I am not getting response as I am toggling the switch. I am using the FlySky FS-TH9X. I restarted the Transmitter Setup Wizard but doing nothing. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
+TrueThinking This normally means that the program isn't 'seeing' the movement of the channel. Check that the channel value moves on the monitor screen on the radio. Check the output on the Rx is ok (I plug a spare servo into it and make sure it moves). Check that the cable is plugged into the right port on the receiver and then move the switch more slowly when trying the calibration. Best of luck!
Hi, I have just downloaded openpilotGCS 15.02.02 (the last release compatible with CC3D according to the website) onto my win7 machine but it will not run. It gets as far as Loading Core Plugin then I get a message that openpilotGCS.exe has stopped working. Problem event name is reported as Appcrash and the fault module name is QT5Core.dll. I haven't seen anyone else here with the same problem and Google comes up with issues with openGL but I'm really stuck. Any ideas?

Painless,I have the Hobby King 30A ESC 3A UBEC. It says in the user manual it has a UBEC/SBEC. an I plug all the wires in like a linear or is there a different way?I'm building at the moment and am confused as to what to do.Any answer would be appreciated.

Hi Painless I have built 250 using your setup for Naze32 and runs sweet, but I have just built another 250 using CC3d thought I would try both, I put generic setting on mine using Openpilot, I am finding it is oscillating a fair bit on roll when flying it, both are Banggoood one similar to yours RC250 frames. what would be the best PID setting for it, have you got screen shot of yours please.
Mine are defaults in openpilot. Check the motors and props for vibration first. Best of luck!

+SuperGoofa I've had a video in the works for 6 months now on this very topics and have not been able to complete it as when the self level mode is turned on the wing I have it on becomes very unresponsive (but level!). Until I figure that out I can't get a flight video and add that tip.. I keep trying when I get a chance to fly and test..
All I can say is FANTASTIC set of video's, I did the build along with the mini 250 and it flies great, I went with the picture on the model set-up , but getting a small amount of isolation and backward drift, and not sure of what to adjust in the programing. I also put the cc3d on my 450 X quad and having the same problems, but I have changed some of the numbers an checked the results afterwards, but still having isolation issues any suggestions ?
Dan H. Make sure that you are isolating the board from any vibration and re-calibrate the accelerometers again..

+Tarkan Fescioglu sounds like the ESCs you're using are not supplying the flight controller with the 5v it needs. You may need tot add a separate 5v BEC. See the quadcopter building for beginners series. Best of luck

Hello Painless360, I was able to setup my CC3D. Everything seems to work fine while connected to the computer, but when I disconnect from the computer, the quad will not arm. I don't know why it would not arm. I don't know if you have a solution for this or if you have a video about arming issues.

I'd use Librepilot, putting other things like Betaflight/Cleanflight is more involved and support is average. Happy flying!
hey buddie..i got a QAV250 with the same cc3d which was factory set up, well surpossed to be.. i took it out just kept flipping so i got it connected to librepiolet and did the setup wizard followed all steps upto transmitter wizard.. im using librepiolet as its the newest software but exactly the same as open.. im using a flysky FS-T6 but it will not connect... any ideas how to solve this.. also now it wont even bind with my controller???? many thanks...

were it says to move your sticks ,throttle up and down and follow the on screen instructions ,then press next ? I was waiting for the (next ) to show up on screen so as I could go on to the next section of the wizard !but it didn,t show up the word next ?

You need to have it bound to test but I would rebind when you have used the sub trims on the radio to get the channel values as close to 1500 ( when in the middle) as possible.
Would a flysky transmitter system (remote + receiver) be compatible with the CCd3 and openpilot/Librepilot?
+Cam plays should be, id always look for receivers that support PPM for a CC3D. If you've not already bought the cc3d there are better choices now.. best of luck!

After a hard landing, fixed wing, I have crossed signals. When I advance the throttle, the rudder deflects full left (rudder on single servo aileron setup channel1). I redid the setup three times, even did some channel switching, but the throttle affects sometime servo 1 and sometimes both servo 1 and 2 depending on assignment. Everything worked fine initially, until the hard landing. Searched the internet, and couldn't find anyone talking about this. Thanks. Bill
A crash shouldn't do that. Have you checked the radio and any programming so you have one control = one channel? Happy to
I'm having trouble calibrating my ESCs. First off, one of my ESCs gets warm as soon as the battery is plugged in. Then, after calibration, that ESC and the one opposite from it start beeping while their motors twitch. Is there something wrong with my ESCs, or am I doing something wrong?
I would check the motor connections on those ESCs and swap the motors with another that is ok to see if the problem stays with the ESC or the motor.. Best of luck.

I'd guess -90 YAW adjustment. Try and it then check the movement compared with the graphic in the GUI. You can easily change it until you get the right setting, sometimes it's a little trial and error.. ;)
I'm using a dx5e transmitter with receiver. My transmitter is binded and configured through open pilot but after that I get nothing, the quad wont fly I'm getting feedback from cpu like you explained in video but after your last step before you put on props that's where I'm stuck

I am having trouble with a CC3D Atom that with windows 10 first showed telemetry feedback in OprnPilot and after flashing software it's NOT recognizing any link to the control board now >< frustrated. Any ideas P360? It also shows that it is ready for telemetry and I have now idea where to get telemetry.

Hello there just got my first qav250.. got thru all the cc3d set up and clicked save. When I go to give it power it does nothing. Went into flight controller setting and it does not move with motion , also attitude and stab are red boxes . It looked so easy on video. Why is mine not showing up. In boxes in flight controller I get "attitude" error. input box is Orange, and stab box is red. Can you help me please? It seems like something isn't reading the models stabilization or attitude???

Hey I could use your help. So I got through some of the transmitter set up, the libre software recognized all 4 channels when I moved the sticks. I was able to get upto 16:34 successfully. But after that, when I move the sticks, they don't seem to be moving on my computer screen in the software. I'm sure my connections are correct. Downloaded the latest Libre software version as well. Any ideas?
I've not seen that here. I'd be tempted to re-flash and start again. Make sure that the receiver isn't disconnecting from the radio. Best of luck!
Hello, I have a CC3D board on my quadcopter, but someone told me that i need a seperate gyroscope (and maybe an accelerometer). I thought that the CC3D wouldn't need a seperate gyro, because you can set this in OpenPilot. Am I right, or do i need a seperate gyro and accelerometer?

With all the leads plugged into the receiver is there a spare one or not? And my transmitter has a F mode switch so will the AUX 1 slot be free for a buzzer?

Having problems to calibrate the ESC's I tested them without the blades and one of the motors stop when you give the turn command and the other motor stop when you give the opposite etc. could you expand the ESC calibration ?
+Hector Castro This is expected at low throttle, make sure you've followed the ESC calibration in the video exactly and that should be ok. Have a careful test hover over soft grass to confirm it's all happy. Best of luck.

Painless; On the receiver plug connections I disconnect the black wire that is the remain of the normal connections and it is connected to the "Gear" , I disconnect this wire and add connect the finding buzzer there and it is working fine from the transmitter portion but I am wondering if it will cause any problem on the maneuver of the quad, I flew it for a short time and did not noticed any difference, I would like your opinion in this aspect.

Hello in your video you say if you have linear esc my are and are flashed with biheil.one shot 125. you can just plug them all the wires in and don't have to take out the red wire ( +) is this true?

Here's a question for you all: After setting up the CC3D succesfully, how can I go back and select tuning parameters from the "Initial Tuning" list? So I chose "Default settings" for the PID tuning during setup but now I'd like to try the 250 Quad settings but without affecting any of the other setup procedures, is this possible? Cheers to all!

When I calibrated my radio with the program, it showed that my pitch and roll stick was offset. For example, when I put the right stick in the top left corner, the librepilot would read that its at the top center position or wen I pushed the stick to the top right corner, it read that it was pointing directly right. How do I fix this?
The calibration routine normally fixes this. I'd run through this again. Failing that simply reverse the channels that are wrong on the radio. Best of luck!

hello 360 i have problem with my motor they are getting to hot when i plug the battery in 40 sec it gives me a loud beep and the 4 motor get hot .
i have micro esc 20a they have 2 wire ( signal and ground)

this video was made awhile ago. open pilot no longer exists. the cc3d I just received is not reading in librepilot. it's saying a board is not connected. or "waiting for board to fully connect" is this fc obsolete or can I still flash it as of january 2018?? thanks for your videos..👍👍👍

Check out the manual - they usually tell you there. If it's a computer radio then you can normally access a screen that shows you the position of the channels (usually called a monitor screen). The order of the channels on that usually match the numbers on the receiver (first is No. 1 etc). Best of luck!

To use CPPM would you just only use the throttle wire and cut the rest off? Or is there a whole different connector? If so does is come with the kit or would it need to be purchased separately

+Hector Castro The black wire is normally the ground and needed for the Rx to be powered and act as a reference for the signal voltages. It is shown in the diagram - see 5:35 in the video. You only need one connection to the GND though as this is usually common across all the receiver outputs. Hope that makes sense.

takes 1 m to star peepin and the motor get hot on about 3 m but everything works really nice when im flyin

This video is usefull but.. Im am not able to do the transmitter setup. It doesnt react on movements. Any tips?
