Hier seht ihr, wie ich meinen aller ersten Lolita Rock nähe. Ich habe es nach dem Schema von „Yumi King“ genäht und kann euch diese TH-camrin nur ans Herz legen.
Es tut mir leid, dass die Aufnahmen hier etwas zu dunkel geraten sind, teilweise, doch das Projekt hat sehr lange gedauert und ich hatte nur wenig Freizeit um es fertig zu stellen.
Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass euch dieses Video gefällt und evtl. inspiriert selber einmal einen Rock zu nähen.
Ich bin kein Profi und ich denke, man hätte so vieles noch besser machen können, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir.

Basic English Instructions:
(I don't speak German and I didn't translate any measurements because they'll vary from person to person. If anything I say is unclear to you, my advice is to look at a few other videos to understand the concepts)
1. Make a circle skirt and sew a double rolled hem along the bottom. The way she makes the skirt in the video, the first ruffle will add to the skirt's length, so be mindful of that.
2. Cut out the waistband, finish the long edge with a rolled hem.
3. Sew one edge of the waistband to the skirt.
4. Fold the waistband in half and top stitch it to the skirt, leaving a gap to feed the elastic waistband through.
5. Use the safety pin method to put the elastic band through the skirt's waistband.
6. Once the waistband is completely through, sew the ends of the band together.
7. Close the opening in the waistband (be careful not to sew the elastic)
8. Cut 5 strips of fabric, 4 all one length and the fifth 5 less wide. Hem the edges so the fabric doesn't fray.
9. Take one strip ruffle it along the bottom of the skirt. If you run out of fabric, just take the next strip and continue sewing.
10. Do the same thing just a bit farther up, she marks where the next ruffle will go with chalk.
11. For the last ruffle, take the thinner strip and instead of gathering it and sewing at the top, gather and sew it in the middle.
That's how you make the skirt.
The bow is made of 2 rectangles and a strip of fabric. Cut out two larger rectangles, two slightly smaller rectangles, and a strip of fabric. Sew the two larger rectangles together, leaving enough of an opening to flip it inside out. Use an eraser or something similar to sharpen the corners, then sew the opening closed. Using a hand needle, sew and gather the bow, then wrap the thread around the bow and stitch it a few more times to make sure it's secure. Do the same thing to the other rectangles. Put the rectangles together to form a bow shape (stitch it in place) and use the strip of fabric around the middle of the bow. Sew it securely and attach a safety pin.

Wow, thanks a lot! It turned out to be super easy and while Lolita clothing is so expensive I can take advantage of being a fashion student and try to make my own pieces. Thank God I know basic German!

Ich wusste, das ich diese Anleitung schon mal gesehen habe. ich liebe Yumi King und habe mir schon jede Menge Lolita-Videos von ihr angesehen. Jedenfalls will ich jetzt auch lernen, wie man näht.
Das freut mich! Es Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, denn es macht sehr viel Spaß und gerade Röcke wie dieser sind super einfach, da man kein Schnittmuster benötigt. :)
Only thing I would of done differently would of been to sew the trims into continuous pieces. That aside this skirt is beautiful!! ❤️

Tolles Tutorial :) für welche Kleidergröße ist der Rock in etwa? Ich möchte ihn gerne ähnlich nach machen für ein Cosplay (ohne die Schleife, die obere Rüsche und dem Taillenband-soll ein Kleid werden) aber weiß nicht wie viel Stoff ich wirklich für den Rock brauche. Habe vor ein paar Tagen 3 m bestellt aber darauf muss auch noch ein Oberteil werden😅 Ich glaube das wird nicht reichen oder?

Kann man die Rüschen auch erst machen und dann am Rock befestigen? xD
Ja kann man. Ich ziehe immer einen dickeren Faden durch und rüsche den Stoff damit. Geht wesentlich schneller als an der Maschine.

Ich würde es sehr gerne na nähen, verzweifel aber an meiner Nähmaschine, weil der Oberfahden ständig reist und der Untefahden zu locker ist... Ich kan keine einzige grade Nahrt damit machen...
Das Problem ist meist der faden an sich. Evtl. allgemein schlechte Qualität oder der ist einfach schon zu alt

Ugh wie lange hast du gebraucht? ._. Ich hab noch kein 'Kostüm' für die Comic con (die am 15.10 ist) und ich dachte, vllt kann ich das ja machen ^^
Das geht echt schnell :) Habe dafür nur ein paar Stunden gebraucht. Durch das Video (Kamera ständig umstellen und einstellen) war es an zwei Tagen erst fertig.

Aber noch eine Sache... wie lang ist der Rock? Sollte man das auch irgendwie messen oder hast du das einfach so gemacht? xD
Ich glaube ich habe ihn 55cm lang gemacht, die länge kannst du aber selber bestimmen mit dem äußeren Radius :)
