Is the priest claiming to have met and know jesus?
If so, then I must have done something wrong during the years I spent trying to communicate with him. Because he would not even give me the time of day.
priests aren't perfect either. while they should behave in a certain manner, and be held to a higher standard than lay people, they too are men, and therefore sinners. although i don't think a priest should be brushing you off, is it possible that you weren't conducting yourself in an appropriate manner? Or are you only judging the priest's behaviour and not how you behaved? Not that I'm doubting you, just that these are important questions to ask yourself as well.

@@michaelanderson4849 Jesus wasn't ignoring you. You just weren't looking clearly properly at how you received the things you asked for. It's not like you say, Lord make me wealthy and you become wealthy. It's more like you say 'Lord make me strong" and you'll be put through trials and tribulations that really suck, but ultimately make you a stronger individual in the end. Jesus did not lie when he said "Ask and you shall receive", it is just that we don't necessarily receive in the most obvious way or the way that we intended, for God knows what's better for us. I used to think Jesus ignored me too, and I turned my back from Christ for about 18 years. I never became an Atheist, but I definitely identified with Agnosticism. But now I'm a devout Catholic, and am positive of God's existence, and not only that, but that Jesus Christ is God.
