- i find it funny that every single time a fight breaks out like this in overwatch, the answer for who was actually throwing is either nobody was at all, or its just one guy afk the whole game

I hate people that give up before the end. instead of playing the game they elect someone as the only faulty piece (normally via stats) and start flaming when it's a team diff.
I had a Sig that was AFK throwing after we lost first point on Dorado pretty badly because he didn’t like the support comp we had with Moira/Zen. This was plat and this guy assumes that players know how to play with or against dive/brawl/poke against other types of comps or that enemy team care about their team comp at all…
Because they can, when ow1 was introduced we had to pay for it 40$ , now you simply make alt accounts for free as many as you want
You're not mad at those people, you're mad at how the game works. If your team chooses to push Scissors into enemy Rock, you CAN and SHOULD blame them. You're just sensitive son, get good
@StoneTheCr0w I mean in some scenarios, yeah, sure, but very rarely is it as simple as rock, paper, scissors. No character 100% locks another character out. If one is skilled enough, then the so-called scissors can end up beating the so-called rock. The issue is more that a lot of people believe that they are skilled enough to triumph over their "counters" when in reality, a lot more effort needs to be put in that they might not even have.
@@StoneTheCr0wIf your teammates choose scissors into rock consistently, they'll rank down and won't be in your lobby anymore. What's the problem?
I actually kind of enjoyed this as a "whose fault was it?" video like, STYLE if that makes sense? I'd like to see more in the future if you already haven't done so :3
make it a segment!
Agreed, not a big Eskay watcher but I’d tune in for this analysis.
I also wanna see a "who's fault is this" replay session.
same!
This was like a VOD review mixed with toxic drama - I loved it. Too bad the Bastion didn't leave more room to actually analyze whose fault it was.
This is worthy for a full video series
We also can't ignore their Soldier who, against a team with no hitscans or shields, was sitting at 20% ult charge after a full minute into their defense (about when first point was captured). About 12% of that is passive ult charge. So yeah, Doom can't do anything if the entire enemy team can run up to him and punch him in the face with no fear of being shot.
Right? It's SO easy to make a single mistake or two, even bad ones, and slip up despite otherwise consistent play. But it's a lot more difficult to consistently just not contribute.
Even if a game is "lost" you can still use the time to practice and improve against "better" players. You don't get better by smurfing and stomping players worse than you. You get better by playing against people at your level or slightly higher.
Week 151 of reminding Eskay that she is an amazing content creator and that we appreciate everything that she does for us
Zip it up when you done with it lil bro
I really appreciate your measured analysis here Eskay! Always nice to hear your perspective on peoples mentalities and the sleuthing with the profiles really highlights your game knowledge. I hate the titling scheme that the TH-cam environment forces creators to use but I'll take this kind of content over so much other.... well, trash.
If you guys ever wonder "are these people like this irl?" Yes, the answer is yes. I work at a hospital, and can 100% confirm that there are plenty of pysch patients that are exactly like this.
The guy should just straight up get banned for throwing. I hate how soft Blizzard is on hard throwers and toxic behaviour, even if he gets banned for throwing it'll be like 10 days.
They need to introduce shadow banning where if you're marked as a toxic player you will be matched with 4 other toxic players only, that way you can keep them away from the wider community.
I always feel for doom players. Its such a hard hero where one mistake can cost you the game. Other tanks are much more forgiving but Doom is really rough unless you rarely make mistakes.
Not to mention everyone immediately likes to point fingers at you
No fr, I usually try to be Uber supportive whenever I'm w someone who's playing doom cuz I feel bad for how much shit they usually get
Rein also fits these circumstances
Same for ball.
The team only sees their tank dying deep in enemy lines and think they’re dumb for over extending. What they didn’t see was the lucky Ana sleep dart that wasn’t even aimed at ball
Tank role is the hardest overall
Doom players have a thick skin dealing with that but its also causes a problem. They are so used to receiving shit that they rarely get pressured into swaping to a hero thats better in a certain situation. So basically they got screamed at with so much nonsene finger pointing that they have gone deaf to constructive criticism
Had something like this happem just today. Was playing three point capture and our hog began to be AFK after losing HALF of our first point. They hid outside of spawn to avoid getting kicked. If there was a way I could slap someone through their screens, I would have been they're new daddy at that point.
jolliest ow player
He just didn't have the holiday spirit enough
Glad you actually went to the Replay and went through different players POV - I thought you were going to stop at the char profile, which turned out to be helpful in explaining what he did or done in the past. In this case, yes it was clear cut the bastion fault. It would be great if you can analyse another game where a snowball happened and it is not obvious in game who was at fault, but when you look at the Reply you realise the person at fault wasn't afking but was contributing soo less or covertly but unintentionally feeding when you analyse their POV against others
I'm starting to think that Bastion may not be for fun at all :(
😭😭😭
I had a genji player throw cause we were WINNING, he wasnt a smurf either he just thought the game was too easy for us, and then we lost...
I'd honestly pay money for a version of the game where no one can use alt accounts
Answer: It's everyone's fault for even playing
came for the roast but stayed for the analysis. even that little play review on first point reminds me I ought to try doing the same to catch how mistakes happen
Eskay you are amazing! I was watching this live and it was just hilarious!
Nahhh that mw2 reference at the end brings back terrible memories
I feel like I learnt a lot from hearing a clear high level play analysis.
Basically, don’t be toxic to your own team because you will lose. Be toxic to the enemy team because they have a Hanzo or Sombra. 👍
Kowalski, analysis 🤔
the only time i get calling out a teammate is if they have no damage or 0 kills and high deaths, i’ve seen so many dps in my games doing that and that’s the only time
Loved that we got drama and education in one video, omg please do more of these lol
we need a Eskay ow detective series
Running one man army on MW2 is crazy that shit was annoying asf 💀
Im sitting in my room, waiting for uni 2 to come out, trying to distract myself and of course you decide to play uni music. Damn you eskay
How are you liking the game so far lol
@@MultiAlerocks very fun but also getting curbstomped
Least toxic OW players
This is why I don’t play comp anymore. I’m happy I got to gm on tank and dps but that’s my limit. And people being so toxic doesn’t encourage me to want to improve
Playing bastion for fun is crazy but going private profile cause of an argument is just sad both at fault in my opinion doom threw 1st round but not playing is crazy
Man, players like Bastion4Fun are one of the reasons why OW can be so unfun to play. I find it dumb whenever someone throws in comp especially when the team is still trying. Anything can happen if you continue tbh.
I have a general question: when someone is getting flamed, either on your team or the enemy team, is it the right idea to try to defend them? Like everyone has bad games sometimes and it’s understandable. I get upset too when my teammates don’t play well, but I don’t flame them. If multiple people are flaming one person I stay out of it, it’s just too much to deal with. But if it’s just one person getting bullied and isn’t even flaming back, should you try to defend them? Or at least say it isn’t that big of a deal
Yoooo that music at the end is lovely! What is it?
It would be so nice to see you make some like coaching videos like the ones emmong does. This explanation was amazing. So in-depth, loved it.
Also, I hate those players. Throwing and ruining the entire game for everyone. Why play if you're gonna act like that, it's such a lame attitude. Love this game, but a big part of the community is way too much toxic
The true definition of throwing in top 500
Lmao the music fits so perfect 10:20
What is the song during the POV swaps starting around 10:03 ? It sounds familiar but I can’t place it.
Is it bad for someone to be a low rank and then climb to a high rank? Like the Zynth guy being plat 2 in season 1 then top 500. I know thats a huge jump but are the same people suppose to be in t500 all the time or?
I wish there was some way to find out what Bastion4fun's main account is...
Oh brother THIS GUY StINKs!
10:02 whats the name of that music ima need that
I see this kind of mental all the time. It's pretty rampant in average player base. TBH, I have to admit I struggle with it myself. It's hard to forgive teammates from fucking up, even though we should just to keep the morale up and keep things competitive and let's face it, its just the thing good people do. my general thoughts is that if you're having a hard time overlooking your teammates errors, you're probably not paying attention to your own and you should put the game down.
Overwatch players can be so toxic at times. I had one player on my team tell me to stop pushing with Mei solo. I told them in response to push with me if you feel that way. I was only pushing because my team was passive. Honestly, I mostly ignore the chat. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
Well if you were pushing alone and dying leaving your team in a 4v5, then yes, you’re at fault. Stick with the team and how they play. Your entire team wont change their play style bc of the way you play. Pick a dive character next time like tracer or genji
I have played with a few of these people I remember some of these names but only in QM
Shit like this make me not even wanna play ranked if i know it's just gonna be the same in higher ranks but wayy less fun
I like this take on e-arguments 😂 instead of pretending it’s something you never do or act like you’re above it, you look to see who won the argument instead 👍🏾 creative
Why is Christmas censored?
I loved this video. These people gotta be exposed for their childishness
I once git bastion4fun in pq, and he did the same going afk in spawn
And people wonder why profiles are now default private…
Super serous: “This is definitely Bastion4fun’s fault”
But also I wanna highlight this Widow play that I made for my ego🗿😂
Man i just feel bad for that team altogether, playing rage battles never go well and it usually guarantees a loss. Its never worth flaming anyone, even if they are total trash. I try to just think of it like hey, i used to be just as bad as this player at one point, the only way to improve is to keep trying, fightung causes babies like this dude to throw random games because he got flamed ONCE.
Dont get me wrong being flamed never feels good, i have had it happen just as much as the next player, but i usually try to pick out what they think im doing wrong (if they dont just tell me) and i just try to listen. That usually can end us on a win whereas when i tend to fight back we usually lose because everyone is tilted at each other and not focusing on their own gameplay.
you're just defending man children that can't control their emotions. people like that deserve to have their time wasted until they learn their lesson (never). so if someone thinks i'm trash, i just make them right. and the next 5 games too. oops.
this is the funniest shit ever
I really hope they see this video.
hope this guy has 10 dollars to spare cuz that account is gonna get trashed by reports now
just saying its ALWAYS the person who stops playing's fault. Even the worst bronze player trying their hardest is doing more work than Bastion4fun is.
See, I try almost harder on my alt account because I’m hard stuck on my main. 😅
I feel like shittalk is one thing, but people let their gamer rage effect their play negatively. I feel like you should wanna play amazing to prove the other guy is trash and you carried. I had a dps talking shit the other day, had him the previous game and after the win he types "unfortunately no nano :/ gg" (i was ana) then next game hes complaining about no heals and stuff but i talk shit back and both of us play really good and we win. Annoying asf but i wont lie i laughed.
Talking shit and throwing is just being a baby. Its not even fun for anyone in the lobby. Just so dumb to me
Ban that account for intentional throwing
4:16 Am I the only one who really hates those profile checks all the way back to season 1-2? What is that supposed to accomplish?
I've started playing when OW2 came out, got placed gold right away. Which I'd say is pretty decent for someone who didn't even know what most abilities do (I'm not new to shooters tho). Over the course of a YEAR, yes, it's been a whole year, I've slowly climbed to high masters.
Yet, everyone who wants to talk shit, always go all the way to season 1 and say "oh, you're just gold".
Is this OW1 elitism? Or do people believe no one can possibly improve? You are what you get at your first placement, forever? Probably should stop making all those educational videos then, what's the point?
Its a mix between elitism and the fact that s3 gigaboosted most of the playerbase
Bastion4fun should be perma banned. Alt accounts shouldnt be allowed, smurfing should be bannable with attitude towards games like this.
They all became at fault the moment they started flaming each other instead of just playing the game, to be honest.
But that bastion sucks ass a lot
Did the tank flame? Im 99% sure that they didn't
No it's definitely the guy refusing to play and flaming who is entirely at fault. Everyone else was still trying
I love sprigatito
smurfs are ruining games everywhere, not only limited to overwatch
but more acc = better for investor presentations, no company (maybe except valve in dota2) gives a shit that their game get flodded with bad games and toxic players
A GM player behaving like a gold player... what the fuck was that xdxd.
Way to got taking the time out to content farm. Good instincts.
the attempts is for attempts to win a ranked game
mairafarias
My friend said I sound a lot like you
With names like that you just know theyre all clowns lol
oh hell ya
Not here for this. I want to AVOID toxicity. Boutta unsub with all this shit lately
id also report the widow, crazy how bad they were
that's not reportable lol
early
nuh uh
When I get idiots on my team I throw too. Alt , main doesn’t matter I go ball and just roll around. Had a wido on junkertown flash point map. Half way through the second point bro had 800dmg 0 picks and not willing to swap. I could’ve carried the game on doom but with the bad match making, solo Q , immortal supports, all the cc and how dependent you are on your own supports, I don’t care anymore.
tank life tough
