Thank you for putting this series together. It’s just what I needed. Practice techniques instead of just noodling. I really enjoy your teaching style and look forward to doing more of your series.
I REALLY appreciate that you go slow! That you play along With Us, or, well, that you made this so that We can play along with You! Many on-line instructors show two or three strums, or one or two chords and say, "just back up the video and work on it". I have gotten SO Tired of backing up a 5 second section to try to mimic what they've tried to show us to do! I enjoy your willingness to be patient with those of us that are taking on a new challenge! Thank you!
Another excellent series! Thank you for sharing your expertise with the world. Again, your teaching style is perfect: relaxed, easy to follow, precise and informative. Since discovering the ukulele at the end of 2019, it is definitely my daily companion - I’m always looking for that extra few minutes to pick it up and practice!
Hope not to late to learn how to play ukulele being already senior takes more time and just don't give-up.Thanks for your time and will follow your video as which I love to watch.
Hi Kevin. Thank you so much for this series. Love the way you teach You really put a lot of effort into how you teach. I look forward every week for your lessons keep up the good work. And maybe I will finally get to play my uke. I am 74 years old. Fond Regards from Western Australia. Zeke Mundy
Another great series! Not until I used the metronome did I realized how I tend to speed up while playing. Great tool to develop a sense of rhythm, especially for songs I already know coz I’m easily distracted by the singing in my head. Would love to see more of these series. Also videos on chord progressions practices and how to apply different strumming /fingerpicking patterns would be great, too Thank you Kevin! 😊😊
Thank you so much Kevin for this series. I've thoroughly enjoyed your clear and helpful lessons as I did your Kickstart series. This is just the start and I shall reflect on how to continually get better at playing this little instrument which has brought such joy into my life. Just one thing though - haven't been able to locate any if the pdfs but made copious notes. All best wishes.
Thank you thank you thank you! This has been so good for me, to delve into basics that I somehow managed to skip along the way. The daily warmup keeps me challenged and builds my confidence that my playing has as much right to be heard as the song I'm singing!.
I think Kickstart Series 1 + 2 are a great starting point for you. If you're looking for more learning resources including song sheets/tabs, lesson exercises, practice tracks and dedicated play alongs, drop by the AllForUke website and have a look around. All the best - Kevin | Allforuke.com
Thanks Mate for the great lessons particularly pro tips. What is an easy way to get from F to G then from G to G7. Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks Penny from Down Under
Hey. I am a big Disney fan and i really want to learn how to play its a small world with fingerpicking. And it would be cool of you made a tutorial on how to do that.
Oh! One thing, your website. I have tried everyday for more than a week to figure out how to print the pdf's. I have set myself up as a member (several times) I have enabled cookies for your site, and it just keeps looping me around. I almost want to video what happens and post it so you can see. Maybe you can write out a step by step instruction sheet?
Hi Kevin! Thank you for the great series! I finished your "step up your strumming" and "play ukulele every day" series. What would you recommend to do next to improve the songs strumming?
I think How To Choose Strumming Patterns would be a great next series for you. I’d also check out fingerpicking day 1. Let me know what you think and if you need practice jam tracks and worksheets for these series’ drop by my site - all the best - Kevin | www.allforuke.com/lessons
Hi this might sound strange but when your strumming is it the side of your finger or the nail going down can’t seem to get the right sound by the way I’m loving the way you teach I’ve just joined a use club but think it’s a bit fast loads of songs ,but no breaking it down for us beginners so your sessions are fab x
Hi Kevin, thank you so much. I still can’t grab the pdf’s. Will you please explain again? After trying subscribing I only get 1 email and not the second one I had to wait for. Thanks in advance
I have tried to follow instruction on videos, but can not seem to get to songsheet/tab below video. In fact can not get to video. I tried to sign up but then it seem it wanted me to choose a paid plan. I just want the free PDF's currently. Other just attach the link to the PDFs to the TH-camSongs right beneath in their comments.

So sad it is the last video of the series. I loved playing along - the uke sound was twice as high. Thank you for such great idea!!!

Love your clear way of teaching. 🙋♀️🐶👍🍁
Loved the play along! Never played a scale with complimentary chords.
Good fun right?
I've thoroughly enjoyed working my way through this 7-day tutorial. Where do you think a raw beginner should go next? Strumming? More chords or what?

Thanks for this wonderful series ❤ my fingerpicking is very weak 😭 I am trying hard everyday ☺
The thing I struggle with most seems to be choosing the right strum pattern.
Check out How To Choose Strumming Patterns on my site and YT channel

how do you work on the melody instead of the rhythm?
I like playing with a metronome with my eyes closed i can listen better and concentrate
You lost me here, after I worked on lessons 1-6..
