Keep it going for the beginners out there. Also don’t add pulsing xenia, unless you also show how to control it. As the tank enters the ugly stage it will be good for beginners to see that it is natural and that they will come out the other side. There are not enough videos that show the reality of starting a tank and the various stages that are perfectly natural and acceptable.
I vote for more videos of this aquarium. I think you should go for it and finish building it to make it an extremely low maintenance aquarium. I think it could serve as an example for many people and see how much you can leave it without water changes or anything. I remember there are some videos where Jake Adams made one reef aquarium like that where he even had two clown fish. Look for the video "500 Day Update of the 1-Day Nano Reef" - Ramón 🇲🇽
Keep it going! Its always great to see nano tanks from start to finish. the good, the bad and the ugly and how to deal with each if intervention is required.
Plz keep this series going……it gives me step by step ideas on how to prep a Salt tank and its makes me a little more confident in getting one……thinking about getting the Studio 24 gal 😅
Keep the series going! I would love to see how you deal with the issues that is pop up down the road. As a beginner in reefing i would love learning more about your proces of keeping a reef going in the first year.
please keep this series going! i am currently doing my research to setup a reef tank and have been following this closely. love all of your other videos and will continue to watch those no matter what your decision is with this tank!
It will be nice to see this fake puff growing in this Reef Casa tank, and yes, bring March from FragBox TV in your live stream. He is a super cool guy!
Keep this one going then shut down the waterbox frag tank. Hang on a minute.... I could do with a waterbox frag tank....(coincidence). Seriously though it would be good to see how this tank does with minimal maintenance. Ideally series for newbies with nanos 🤙🏻
I love this tank. honestly, it is exactly the kind of tank I want to set up. Currently I don't have the ability to have a tank but hoping in the next 6months or so to be were I can have one and this will more then likely be the one ill get
Another lovely video dude. Would be nice to see Seneye data on their light. PAR but also the spectrum and PUR. I recently got a Seneye reef and found my Fluval Evo stock light is really poor. Saw data online showing 200 PAR at 4" depth. I'm getting 120. The floor is just 35...I will be doing my own custom light now. Keep up the great videos. Paul
I did a quick PAR check in the setup video (part 2) so there's some data on that vid, but I'll only be keeping softies so I'm not really bothered about the full detail!
Easy water changes - get yourself a Autoaqua Smart AWC Duo or similar, and three containers near the tank (ATO, Salt, Waste). I've found it super reliable, nice and stable (little change twice daily) and just need to top up salt tank once every few weeks. Perfect for the automated reefer!
Its a nice looking tank, I prefer it to the fluval. I'm guessing its cheaper than red sea and waterbox aswell. Definitely a possibility for my first tank.
I’m upgrading my Fluval EVO 13.5, because it has become quite obvious it’s not big enough. The new 25 gallon Waterbox AIO 25 peninsula fits on my current stand and will give me a lot of volume. The Evo will get turned into a freshwater shrimp tank. The way it works in my house is I do saltwater and my wife does freshwater.
My daughter is after a tank for her next birthday as she loves mine, I've told her it has to be a marine tank. This size would be perfect for her and these videos will help me explain it to her. (She's 7) thanks
I also had a mimic file fish called Brian - he slept holding onto a powerhead wire at night. He was too slow to keep up with the bigger fish at feeding time and struggled to get enough food, so I rehomed him. He never touched any of my soft coral collection - I have no lps or sps though.
What do I do if I have an Ick outbreak and can’t setup A QT tank? Polyp lab medic isn’t working. I have inverts and cannot does copper because of it. How you encountered ick before?
keep it running for 1 year atleast, then you can give goods and bads of keeping a small tank (although everyone knows it but you can do a comparison video with your big tank)
Hi reef dork is it possible I could get some Cheato macro Algae off you plz I'm happy to pay postage and possible give a few token towards your JD bill haha 😂
Here's part 5 - adding clean up crew!

The Fluval series died when your Cade arrived. Might be worth keeping this up for a while for those folks with Nanos?

Yes I totally agree thank you. As someone who is considering and a bit nervous about getting a reef tank it's good to know these things.

You should get March on a livestream and discuss this tank! You’ve got to keep the tank for Puff’s sake surely? He’s such a cool fish
It's worth holding onto for a little while surely, having set it up. The size of it will annoy Ryan if nothing else
😅
Would love more videos on this tank. Your larger tanks are great tanks to aspire to but this one is great for beginners like me!
Keep it going! Its always great to see nano tanks from start to finish. the good, the bad and the ugly and how to deal with each if intervention is required.
You've got to keep this one going 🙌 A beautiful tank and it's 'puffs' home sweet home. 😂. Really enjoying this series and the tank is going so well 🙂👍

keep it going for all the beginners or people coming back into the hobby :) really enjoyed it
Would love to follow this tanks journey so please keep this series going. Reed Casa seems like a good company to work with.
Keep it going I've nearly ready to add some fish.
March is the man! Buy now!
Keep the series going! I would love to see how you deal with the issues that is pop up down the road. As a beginner in reefing i would love learning more about your proces of keeping a reef going in the first year.
Would be interesting to see how this tank develops :) Thanks for your videos.
Just got my old tank back, so I'm looking forward to starting a new system.
Keep the tank going. Be good to see how you get on with nutrients and upgrading using the filter section and potentially their Refugium??
please keep this series going! i am currently doing my research to setup a reef tank and have been following this closely. love all of your other videos and will continue to watch those no matter what your decision is with this tank!
Keep this going! I want to start someday with reefing and your videos (especially this series) are very explanatory.
Please keep this going! Such a good video for beginners and it looks so so good!
ive a mimic its a great fish had no issues with coral munching
It will be nice to see this fake puff growing in this Reef Casa tank, and yes, bring March from FragBox TV in your live stream. He is a super cool guy!
keep it up - love the tank. Keep it going.
Love this series!
You have to keep this one going it looks beautiful
Keep this one going then shut down the waterbox frag tank.
Hang on a minute.... I could do with a waterbox frag tank....(coincidence).
Seriously though it would be good to see how this tank does with minimal maintenance. Ideally series for newbies with nanos 🤙🏻
Great video as always Dork! Never stop
I love this tank. honestly, it is exactly the kind of tank I want to set up. Currently I don't have the ability to have a tank but hoping in the next 6months or so to be were I can have one and this will more then likely be the one ill get
As a fan of yours and march’s you definitely need to keep it going.
ive loved this little series! I really like the looks of this tank too, its nice to see another nano tank and has given me one great ideas for mine!
He looks a right little character!
Ohh, cool choice of fish, I like it!
Nice ! Maybe try a Mandarin & get him to eat pellots or frozen mysis 😊

Turn it into an invert only tank. It would definately be low maintenance plus inverts are cool
More Reef Casa! 🔱

It’s a full kit and includes everything you need for 400 USD. Seems pretty good
Your such a legend! Shown me in one video why I’ve given myself dinos twice in one year 😂
I’m upgrading my Fluval EVO 13.5, because it has become quite obvious it’s not big enough. The new 25 gallon Waterbox AIO 25 peninsula fits on my current stand and will give me a lot of volume. The Evo will get turned into a freshwater shrimp tank. The way it works in my house is I do saltwater and my wife does freshwater.
Would be really cool to see this tank flourish, if not I'd be happy to take it off your hands haha :)
My daughter is after a tank for her next birthday as she loves mine, I've told her it has to be a marine tank. This size would be perfect for her and these videos will help me explain it to her. (She's 7) thanks
Well, if you get red of it, you already have a place for the corals and Puff as well as the CUC.
Keep it please, I'm keen to know the realistic prospect of keeping a nano alongside my 1200 litre reef tank
I also had a mimic file fish called Brian - he slept holding onto a powerhead wire at night. He was too slow to keep up with the bigger fish at feeding time and struggled to get enough food, so I rehomed him. He never touched any of my soft coral collection - I have no lps or sps though.
Brian 😂 yeah, mine sleeps with his teeth on the Seachem ammonia alert"
Hey mate can the mimic filefish be kept in a mixed reef?😀
It'd be a risk, especially with lps corals
Keep it going please
What was the sponge you were using to clean the glass please?
Just a filter sponge that comes with the kit
I would keep it as a fun nano series. Do something unusual with it.
How many conches did/do you have in your big tank? I just bought one looks the same ws the one you showed in a video
Don't think I have any left now but I probably had 2 or 3 at the peak
I think you should definitely keep it going for at least a year RD - but then I'm not doing the maintenance! lol
Where can you get this in the UK? Yes please do more would love to see the progress
You can get the tank at AAC in Harlow but the full kit currently unavailable but will be soon I'm told...
@@ReefDork Cheers mate
You should definitely keep puff, I don’t think there’s a whole lot of TH-camrs who have mimic filefish
What do I do if I have an Ick outbreak and can’t setup A QT tank? Polyp lab medic isn’t working. I have inverts and cannot does copper because of it. How you encountered ick before?
Get yourself on a forum and post some photos
I'd like it if you kept going i think itd be interesting to see how you'd fill out a softie tank
I'd love to see the development of the tank, but I understand its a ballache to own multiple tanks
keep it running for 1 year atleast, then you can give goods and bads of keeping a small tank (although everyone knows it but you can do a comparison video with your big tank)
K E E P I T G O I N G
More tanks more more
Please keep it!
Still got it so far! Will do a 6 month update soon...
Keep it
Whats the name of this fish you put in ?
Mimic filefish
I prefer stuff like this, let’s see how nice you can get it with just the basic stuff for a year or so.
Keep it running, but if you decide to shut it down maybe auction it off for a small fee
How can I get a sticker?
Sorry I don't do stickers
Bummer. Thanks. Well hello from Alaska anyways!
Keep going with a low bioload
Thinking you can give “Puff” a better name, either “Puff Daddy” or “Mother Puffer”…..?
Send it to me i will give it a good home 😉
Hi reef dork is it possible I could get some Cheato macro Algae off you plz I'm happy to pay postage and possible give a few token towards your JD bill haha 😂
Sorry, I don't sell chaeto - mine's nothing special though and no different to what you'll get from your lfs
@@ReefDork OK noproblem my lfs dose not sell it ill have to pay crazy ebay price lol 😂
