All looks fine. Please train yourself to never remove your hand from the chuck wrench before you pull it out of the chuck. I was pleased to see you run the parting tool reasonably slower. I was always told to slow the spindle down, but most people let it fly.
I hope everything lines up for ya, the only way you can line that up is put it on the equipment line everything up mark it than weld it up..new subscriber amd fellow machinist..

Leaving the chuck key in the chuck is not good habit !
It’s fine as long as you’re consistent. Seen a few shops do this.
@@aaronfritz7234 You will need just 1 distraction and it may be your last video. BE SMART, BE SAFE
@@stevemitchell4305 haha chuck key isn’t hurting anyone. This has been debunked.
I have left the chuck wrench in a couple of times and it flew out as soon as I started the machine
Whats up everybody? What's that meant to mean?
The spline has to be oriented correctly to the yoke
@@BobobertRS can you explain why?
Timing, the yoke won't line up with the splines once you install the u-joint..
@@kentuckytrapper780 I see what you mean, but this is the splines that hook to the tractor and not the gear boxes so timing doesn’t matter.
@@wethepeeples8309 ok,I see what your talking about, I fix alot of drivelines and they can't be off any at all, keep up the good work..
Alignment doesn't matter on a PTO coupler. Just keep it straight.
