Oh thank goodness this came up first in my search as I was panicking about my sofa not working properly when a blanket got caught while closing the footrest. Thank you for the clear concise and the easy fix. Phew! 🙂
Thanks so much for making this video. I too thought I had broken my brand new reclining sofa. What would’ve been even better is if the sales person or delivery person would’ve explained this feature to me and then I wouldn’t have freaked out and had to search on TH-cam for a video to fix it.
And when that stops working?? Then what? Our Lazy Boy reclining couches (both of them!!) do the floppy thing, but nothing gets them back on track and the foot rest won't go all the way down. It makes it hard to even sit down onto them cuz it's sticking out just enough to make it difficult. After spending what we did on these things, to be having issues like this, I don't know that I'd ever buy LazyBoy again. 😩
Doesn't work! Need my recliner after a few ankle surgeries. Your company is not answering my emails. This very expensive recliner is now broken the 2nd time in 3 years. Do you stand behind your product? Doesn't look like!
Hi Kim, I have a lazy boy reclining sofa. One side is very noisy when I pull the leg section out or put it back down. We have an extended warranty and called lazy boy. They told my wife they don't cover noises. They only fix issues if it's not working. I think that's pretty unacceptable. Any tips to quiet the sound myself?
